How do you blend already bleached hair that looks different shades of blonde? Will toner help correct that? also, my hair is very thick and poofy. So is there a way to ease the stress that the bleach puts onto it?
@@kaylaberdis5204 focus the bleach on areas that are darker! and overall toner should help correct, you can also spot treat with toner too and focus it on the brassier areas,, as for easing the stress, i would say don't do it all in on session let your hair rest in between so maybe spread things out throughout the week and also after everything do a lot of hair care like hair masks, conditioning, and try to not wash your hair more than 3 times a week!
How is your hair so shiny and healthy after THREE rounds of 40 VOLUME bleach?! In one day! I did 2 rounds with 30 volume, 2 days apart, and my poor hair is dry and fluffy now 😅
@@warmekipyeah I’m betting it’s the pigment and thickness of her hair cause I’ve NEVER heard someone recommend bleaching more than twice in a day and 40 volume is CRAZY for my strawberry blonde hair lmao
I need to know what your hair care routine is!!!!!! Your hair looks so shiny and healthy.I always use 20 vol developer and never leave the bleach in for more than 25min, but I still have my hair falling out like crazy 1 month after bleaching
Cut dead hair as you see them dont owerbrush wash hair once a week, put jojoba into your shampoo and wash your hair w that to keep roots and ends moisturized
I'm so sorry someone was mean to you, idk why there are so many toxic hairdressers :( I chose to do it myself for the same reason. Hope things go well for you!! 🤍
This is for people looking for tips I know this is an old thread but there is no way she did this in one day also 40 Val. Will burn the crap out of your head. I know all hair types are different but max would be 30vl especially for an on scalp application. I am white I have semi thin dark brown hair and I use 20vl sometimes 30vl developer and leave it on there until I see the desired light yellow color then I tone it with wella t18 the toner removes the brassiness if you have more orange mixed in than yellow t14 has more blue pigment to cancel out the orange. TONER IS YOUR FRIEND If I bleach one time then tone it right after and my hair turns out perfect and I am lazy so I let it grow out for months like she did. You can always wait a few days and touch up anything with a little more bleach in those spots and then retone your entire head.
AHHH... thank you for the idea to use a hanger and handmirror. last time i had to do this was such a pain trying to hold mirror and see in back. i let mine grow out way too much ... so this is gonna be fun .....
Crazy how many people think 'long' hair is barely past their shoulders. I'm new to hair things and super glad I found your technique for sectioning the hair. I would love to see you do a video specifically showing putting it up. Definitely trying this out tomorrow when I henna.
Woahhhh you did a great job!! One thing I'd recommend, is putting like a blue or purple dye additive to the bleach. That way it'll tone when it bleaches at the same time! I personally swear by Olaplex when I'm bleaching my own hair lol. You can by the Olaplex No. 0 and add that into the bleach! That's what my hairdresser did once. Then Olaplex No. 3 for once you rinse out the bleach (:
It will lift so much lighter if you don’t let it grow out so much I spent 380$ at the salon color correcting cuz my hair is so thick and so much work! I admire your patience you did a great job just next time bleach it sooner and it will lift much better babe what toner are you using?
Dang, 40 Volume Developer! Your hair must be SO Strong!! I get worried when I have to use 30 volume 😹 Great tip about the 20 Vol Developer with Toner as 10 volume never does it for my hair either. Your 'silly bleach faces' are adorable!! You're not alone on that, I'm surprised my mirror doesn't fall down with some of the faces I make 🤪
Girl thank you for this video!! I was stuck in about the last step you showed before the decision to use T14 and this video made me feel more confident in my strategy to exile the orange brass (bye ✌️ brass) Your hair turned out very pretty!
Hi! Couple questions...How long did you wait between rounds 1&2 and 2&3? Also, did you use 40 vol all 3 rounds? What vol did you use with the toner? TY for the video! :)
She’s using 40 which is horrifying. She has some tough thick strong hair to be able to do that. Low and slow is always the way to go when bleaching hair. 20v for 30 minutes. I do my hair in sections and it will take me the best part of a day but that’s because I don’t want to fry my hair. After the first 30 minutes the bleach is pretty much done lifting so wash it off, mix up a new bleach and reapply if it’s still not lifted enough. Never use over 20v, especially if you want to keep your hair.
Not really when you do the toner instead of bleaching again and again lol it does save your hair using toner but a good tip is to bleach your hair when it’s dirty because of the oils will protect it from frying more. Also after bleaching add a hair mask conditioner. What she did I also did and it works good. Only thing different I just do 30 vl You don’t have to do 40 And 20 vl with toner won’t damage it bad either 😁
I have fine dark brown hair, I only need 1 round of bleaching to get that light, and I use 10-20 volume developer. Your video is ok, well we have very different hairtype, your hair is thick and coarse. But I think it is better to use 20 or max 30 developer, because bleaching is a process that takes time. And if we speed up the process by using 30/40 developer we get light faster but the result is more brassy. Glad your thick hair can handle it, but honestly if you gonna bleach it 2/3 times anyway you might try 20 volume next time and if what hairdressers tell us is true, you should be left with less brassy and easier to tone hair. I am lucky cause each of my hairstrands is fine, my hair is easy to bleach, and I have almost no damage.
Not necessarily. Unless ur using a pastel color on top, it should be easily covered w a darker dye. If you dont plan on dying your hair its also ok to keep the brassiness, its up to u
Actually don't bleach 3 times one day! Your hair might fell out like mines duh! Wait one week then bleach wait one more week then bleach let your hair rest and scalp
Hi guys! Thank you for watching :) Let me know if you have any questions ʕ• ε • ʔ♥

Asian hair😅 I’m jealous, my hair is very fine and european and bleach would DESTROY it.

Yeah this is what happened to me too
That mirror rig is amazing, genius
I’m dying at the faces you made. The focus required is real 😂😂 same girl, same 💁🏼♀️
ahahah FORREALLL
Why can literally smell it through the screen

Leave in conditioner, satin or silk pillowcase (satin is better)
The layer idea is great and I have a crazy grow out like you did so you’re a life saver!!!!!!! Perfect for what I needed ❤🎉
I loved to see the fail
I feel less alone with my black spots here and there after a first round! ^^
there's never been a time where i haven't had random black spots HAHA
u just saved me! thank u i was crying someone was mean to me helping me with my hair thank u so much for creating this
I'm so sorry someone was mean to you, idk why there are so many toxic hairdressers :( I chose to do it myself for the same reason. Hope things go well for you!! 🤍
Ive been bleaching so long and this made it so much easier and less scary i love your ideas tysm!

Whenever I see 40 volume developer I feel my scalp tingling and my hair falling apart. But this! Dang her hair is made of titanium alloy 😂
Great tutorial. Only suggestion, make the sections smaller 😊

You did a good job wow love the color
Was your scalp and ears and face and neck insanely itchy or scabbing after three rounds of 40 vol bleach?

Hi!! May i know what would happen if u used the first mix of bleach for the second round? Would it have dried up and been ineffective or something?
Looks amazing! What products do you use to keep your healthy?
Thank you! I'm going to try this tonight!
I have fine dark brown hair, I only need 1 round of bleaching to get that light, and I use 10-20 volume developer.

Good for you for having fine hair but even if I leave 20 vol on several sessions spread out hell would freeze over first
it looks great..bless you..alot of bleach - i'd be bald
thank u for this video!!🙏🏻🤍
how long did you wait before doing the second round of bleach?
I think the only time reference she gave was that she did it all in one day ??
I got multiple of brush but ended up using my hands.. its much easier 😅
Hello!! Is toner necessary??
Not necessarily. Unless ur using a pastel color on top, it should be easily covered w a darker dye. If you dont plan on dying your hair its also ok to keep the brassiness, its up to u
Do you still have this platinum hair color since it’s been a year from your last video posted?
I can’t do that hack bc my shower is not behind the sink where the mirror is😭 when I go blonde, idk what I’m gonna do for the back.
I know this is like 2 years later, but maybe you could put tape or command strips on a hand mirror and stick it on a wall behind you 🥲
How long to leave bleach on?
the last clip! LOL
u are literally a godsend for my dumb ass thank u sm katie
wow very nice 😍😍
Ahh shit here we go again
THANK YOUUUU❤
Best I've ever seen i swear can u do kine🎉 LoL
How long did u wait before each bleach job tho
She did it all in one day. Most people’s hair cannot take this much in one day. Especially with 40 volume holy f
im so happy that im not the only one doing those faces😭
This makes me wanna keep touching up till I have super long blonde hair 😍😍😍
I’m going back to bleaching at home. 😂
Wish I was brave enough to use 40 volume.
You are amazing
Thank you. Great tutorial. You’re very beautiful.
Thank you!
ofc you're welcome!!
gorgeous
omg thank u
Don’t wait too long between root touchups
Did you mean to say purple counsels yellow and blue consels orange...
how to go platinum blonde at home?
good question!
i have a video of that on my channel :) check it out!
