The pipe organ is by far THE MOST BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENT EVER!!!!! It's full of so much character, personality, charm, light, color, powerful emotions, and so much creativity. I can never get enough of hearing such a magnificent instrument.
a pipe organ is built to last forever and is one of the most beautiful instruments i have ever heard in my whole life nothing can beat the sound of a real pipe organ i love the sound of the pipe organ no digital organ can compare to sound of the pipe organ
No pipe organ is built to last forever. Indeed its sounds are beautiful. And yes, we now have digital organ sounds that never go out of tune and most importantly, they can be midi compatible. Update your understanding. We are now in the 21st Century. Listen and learn. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. CVD.
Built to last 500 years but in the USA they seem to be trashed before they are 50-75, I just removed an 8 rank 1932 Moller from a former church that was sold in 2000 to a group who is using it as a live theater, they wanted the organ gone to use the space for storage, it was working perfectly fine up to about 2005 and hadn't been used since. That one is NOT unusual, I removed a 15 rank 1927 Kilgen organ around 2002 the church was going to throw in the dumpster because it needed expensive repairs, the neglect to repair the leaking roof didnt help. They unfortunately allowed people from the church to take small pipes as souvenirs, so they took pipes from both sides of the center walkboards and essentially ruined 15 ranks of pipes as about 20 pipes from the middle of each rank were gone. A Reuter organ from 1934 I also removed around 2005 when the church wanted to get rid of it after buying an electronic organ. A LOT of small electro-pneumatic organs from the 1930s are winding up in the dumpster because they all need releathering and extensive repairs due to age, the electrical codes require ALL the old cloth wiring to be replaced if ANY is altered- a very expensive task since to rebuild a windchest they often have to be removed to the shop, so churches look at maybe $150,000 to do this work and see a $50,000 electronic organ and guess what happens...
The first time I ever got to experience a proper pipe organ, I was about 13 or so. It was one of those "All the kids who play instruments will go put on a concert at the local church to show off their talent" kinda things. Of course, the organist had talent too, and a pipe organ the size of a wall. And that thing made the floor and my chest vibrate. And I've had a weakness for pipe organs ever since :D.
Seriously 28 thumbs down vote for this beautifully played Christmas hymn must be some very unhappy souls who need Christ in their pathetic lives for the peace & joy that He alone can give.
More amazing playing on an incredible pipe organ. My fave instrument. My old choir master was a great organist and restorer and had huge passion like yours
Great power there, my friend!!! This one also gave me the goose flesh and standing hair on the back of my neck! Thank you for sharing the grand sounds of the Famous organ at All Saints!!! Be Blessed!
Great job on one of my favorite carols! Ignore the dislikes! They are probably people who would dislike anyone else posting a carol. Best wishes! Charles
That was another excellently played version of one of my favourite carols. Also sounding at its best from the knave area of the church. Nice touch at the end too, walking to the camera to end the shot. Nice. :-)
WOW!!!. I hope you will be playing the pipe organ in Heaven . To actually be there when this was played would have sent chills down my spine. Thank you for pulling all the stops. Wonderful
It's wonderful!!! I love this organ and you play very well! You really could make a CD of Christmas carols. Something like the organist Kenneth Abbott did.
I especially love to hear a pipe organ played throughout carols like this. It’s so annoying when trumpets drown out the sound of a pipe organ in the final verse! A magnificent and moving performance!
Fantastic Rob! A very common mistake with this carol is to class the “With” in “With angelic host proclaim” as a dotted crotchet instead of a crotchet. This is one of the few versions without that error! Brilliant rob!
@kldudmp Just a heads up I'm not the Organist here at All Saints Church, I'm associated here because I practice and attend Worship (When I can) and do most of my videoing here, in the years that I've be playing at my main churches i'd like to to give it some "Gusto" I do Video's here for youtube for my own enjoyment and hobby for everyone to enjoy and appreciate. Thanks again for the encouragement keep watching! :-)

I used to listen to this song in college. It got me through some difficult trials. Such a glorious and triumphant piece.
Thanks Sean!
Right tempo to express joy, and still allowing attention to what happens harmonically. Great.
Can't beat a pipe organ
Thanks for that, very true!
Yeah, Especially Traditional Hymn woth Pipe Organ is the magnificent songs I've heard

Listening to this on a $500 Bose Speaker system with Bass subwoofer and it is mind blowing
+jafajack Hope the neighbours don't complain!!
+jafajack WHEEEEEEEEE I'd LOVE to hear that!
Poor Vince, I'd heard there were people like you around.
Oh and I wasn't bragging I was simply making a comment about how different the music sounded after my previous speakers.
sounds like bragging to me, why else bring up about the speaker difference?

Excellent! (forget the dislikers) I love it when the organist pulls out all the stops on the last verse!!! That makes our worship come alive!!
My ears fill in the choir on top of this rendition without one being there. Great rendition
Many thanks pleased you enjoyed!

I'm really loving the opening fanfares! I've actually never heard them before so will have to give our choirmaster a few hints!

All that is majestic and wonderful about Great Britain, celebrating the birth of the son of God.

Lovely, my favourite. Our local church organ just has no bass!
Many thanks - that's the case with some organs they either don't have or do! :-)
