Hey Clint, I’m just starting to watch your videos because I’m looking at David de Villier’s aluminum catamarans.
This video struck a chord with me because I’m just taking a year off from cruising after 8 years afloat on an Oyster 55. I needed that break to get the boat out of my mind for a while, to not have to constantly worry about something like dragging anchor, bad weather or a fire. I thought I was going to give up the sailing life, but after a few months on land, my wife and I realized that what we love is being on the water on a boat. So instead of looking for a new house somewhere in Italy, we are now looking at catamarans at boat shows and doing sea trials.
It’s interesting to watch your evolution in selecting a boat and what emotions you are going through in the process.

Thanks so much for the comment. My "game plan" is to spend about 9 months a year on board to give myself space and time to do land things (love snowboarding and climbing mountains) so that I don't fall out of love with my biggest joy.
Thanks for the comment and support and look forward to chatting about your Nahoa 55 plans
