Thanks for the video chap. I only ask this question? Because I know it’s a mind field with weed killers. Have you any plans ( or previous video on ) feed killing spray , for edging or tiles on that pathway / back garden areas etc
I haven't got a video on it, but I just use a regular Roundup weedkiller to kill any weeds that are on patio areas - I just try to make sure that I don't get too much of the product on the patio itself.
I've replaced my lawn (with seed) about 1-2 months ago now and it looks pretty decent. What would you recommend using as an pre august feed to boost grow and avoid possible die off as the grass evolves? There is some weed in it from the 5 tons of top soil but nothing much.
I have a question for you. I need to level parts of my lawn and im going to use westland top soil and im doing a light scarify before. Do i need to scalp the lawn first
I usually water a couple of days after if it hasn’t rained. I put some down on one of my lawns 3 days ago. Haven’t watered it yet because some light showers yesterday, but I’m keeping an eye out for signs of stress
@@NoviceGardener darn it I was worried about the warm weather and gave it a light sprinkle after 14hrs but now it's drizzling 😮 probably washed away the goodness

I would use this any time of year, except maybe when we have a heatwave.
I put down some liquid iron but I think the mix was to strong so parts of my lawn was turning colour,but it's all good now

Yep, best to scalp first so that you can level the soil more easily. It will look naff for a bit, but it will improve quickly.
