I've never seen an air traffic controller so friendly as the one in sonderborg
They are always that friendly. Even when we come in schoolflights! AFIS-Controllers in Sonderborg are the best :D
"Yes, but I'm Swedish..." that had me on stitches 😂
12:14 Old time pirate ship. :D Loving this series so far! This is exactly the kind of DA-62 content needed on youtube. Sadly there are too many of the same demo type of flights showing engine out capabilities over and over. So thanks for this!
Love to hear that!! Thank you!!
@@MickeLang The music being so loud makes it hard to hear what's being said . Beautiful airplane
Great to see Diamond creating content like this. Would love to fly the DA62. Sweet ride.
Watching this series for 10th time! I love it! I wish could have been along for the ride in a back seat!!!!
Beautiful plane. We have several 40's and two 42's here at my flight school in Seattle. Looking forward to my dual training in the 42. Thank you for sharing.
BumHaven which flying school?
@reverse thrust, that was a good one
“Danish people are always so nice.”
“Yeah, but the problem is that I’m Swedish!”
My Danish father married my Swedish mother, so that made me laugh!
Which reminds me of one of my Father’s favorite jokes:
Scientists have discovered a substance thinner than water: Swedish beer!
The DA62 is my dream airplane.
Vi er altid flinke.... we are always nice... wonderful to follow this flight..
Loving every moment of these videos
so fantastic that you shared this with us
the attention to detail in your beautiful aircraft is breathtaking
Extraordinary airplane, amazing landscapes and spectacular shoots and editing! We couldn't ask for more! Congrats from Italy, keep going this way!🛩️🛩️
I just finished watching all the episodes and loved it. Great job to the pilot. Video was beautiful.
Now this, is a video. The whole vibe including the music is just flat out cool.
Nearly as good as doing it yourself...and an awful lot cheaper. 🤗 Thanks for the great videos.
Keep them coming is such pleasure to watch it. Thanks
What a beautiful plane, and thanks for posting this ocean crossing!
These episodes are fantastic! Great editing and video work.
I just love Diamond aircraft and can't wait to see all other parts! Hurry up... lol
Thank you so much!!!
What a great series! Very interesting even for us sim pilots!
What a nice plane, hope i get rich someday...And best flight doc ever :) Thank you, my dream....
Very cool video. Did my MEP on the DA42, awesome plane, and the 62 of course looks even nicer. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Excellent series. Can’t wait for the next one!,,,
Very nice. Looking forward to next Monday already.
Another excellent Episode showing the finest twin in the world!
Love Diamond airplanes. I’ve been waiting for video like this
Very nice video guys. Very jealous of you making this trip.
Great video, looking forward to the next one
Just came back from a factory tour in London. Really enjoyed it. Our guide told us this was a fall flight. Thanks for posting. Great video.👍🏻
Absolutely fantastic.
Great footage and interesting flight
Very cool trip report! More Videos like that in the future please!!!
Skrydstrup Approach :-) Great video.
Nice series! Thanks for content
more please great series
Micke and Martin are back! Our new RUclips documentary is starting end of December 2019. This time you’ll join us on an extraordinary training flight in a DA40 NG from our headquarters in Wiener Neustadt, Austria to Dubai Airshow. Get a glimpse: ruclips.net/video/l-IdnbT5nV0/видео.html
Great series :D But I wonder why you did so many stops? According to wiki, Da62 has a 2400 km range so flying 1000km legs seems weird.
Maybe bathroom breaks....
Thanks for the great ride.
Music is ok but should be very low volume we want to hear the plane and the conversation
If I want music I can play a cd
Otherwise cool vid
Great videos, keep them coming! Quick question, what flight planning tool has been used to produce the briefing pack shown around the 1:25 mark?
Thomas Stenbakk Windy.com :)
Fascinating journey! I am just a sim pilot with X-plane 11 and the DA62 from Aerobask. Do you have a map of your itinerary somewhere on the web?
Beautiful plane! What are those 5 white things on the wing?
Abe Ash vortex generators :)
Vortex generators. When near a stall they keep air flowing over the ailerons to keep roll authority where the rest of the wing may loose lift. Safety feature
Things that the wing needs to fly, otherwise they wouldn't be there Haha
illegal aliens !!!!!😄😄😄😄😄😄🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Nice but Please drop the music during ATC transmissions
Disagree
Excellent!!
at 09:04: A random ATR from the airline I fly in Brazil lol
I'm so Jealous, you Guys Rock
Key problem for a long haul flights in such a small aircraft is toilet and food unless one makes many pitstops
I assume the plane is very noisy seeing as you felt the need to cover all engine sounds with music.
Hm... brand new Diamond Twin or Cirrus G6... what a difficult decision. If only I had that kind of difficult decision to actually make :-)
Diamond! They seem more economical, if they just changed the stick for a sidesidestick...
Fabulous.
why does the MPP have massive cannards on the rear stab?? does it make much difference. id like to see one std da62 and the other with the MPP wings. see who gets better speeds and range
Just like any other cross country flight but without terrain to follow on a map.
Is this a customer delivery flight?
Yes, a ferry flight, it's said in the description
This is sooo cool :sehr cool 😀👍😜
Cool
All that water .. must be a long trip..
Da hätttet ihr aber auch in Flensburg (EDXF) landen und einmal hallo sagen können ;)
Why didn't you bother with the suits for the leg into Wick?
Very nice trip and movie. I do have a question: I noticed the caps on the fuel tanks have the handle to the front of the wing instead of to the rear (so they don't blow open). Is that intentional on the Da62?
Hugo Vijftigschild - Yes. The tabs face forward by design on the DA62. This is reversed from some other planes. The Diamond has a “hump” on the tab that makes them more aerodynamic facing forward.
Does it still sails if both the engines fail?
Hey: Brazilian airplane at 8:49.
Is the rudder on this airplane automatic?
Yaw damper is available.
Why skip the touchdown on the landings! We wanna see that
Nice tacv atr airplane... on a airport in Denmark.
Can not understand a word the pilot says when on the radios.
Me neither, i think they speak German or something similar Haha.
7:02 is actually my homebase. Nice!
Is that Kiel?
it look soo nice and im from denmark!! 9:00
What camera is that? Sony a7 mark 3?
kilik92 Sony a6500 :)
thank you and what lens do you use? amazing footage@@MickeLang
Beautiful, maybe less soundtrack, it would be nice to hear the props, it's so soothing but good job. Congratulations
The music sounds familiar
I live near Wick
Micke pone que es Austriaco pero me parece que el acento en ingles lo tiene español.
The music is unnecessary, but if you have to have it make it way softer, we want to hear the ATC communication, not elevator noise.
nice!
Is this aircraft diesel?
Sokeresa yep
What's the song starting at 14:40?
Benjamin Geyer - Iceland
2:59 fuel cap lock should not be pointing forward :))
im glad im not the only one! lol
Haha, me too. Really nice video so far, looking forward for the rest
The tabs on the DA62 fuel caps are supposed to face forward. They have a small “hump” on the front that makes them more aerodynamic that way.
What if bathroom?
Hold or pee in bottle. Don't ask how i know Haha. I'm not sure for #2...
Autopilot and pee in a bottle. #2 when I land.
the pacific is the pond the atlantic is the puddle
How do you pee on this flight? External catheter to bag?
so what do you do if you h ave to shit or piss
The music does not fit at all
Introduce your pilot.......
6:38
Can you please kill the music in future episodes. Ruins the whole thing. Worse- can't hear the commentary or the engines.
he's a radio mumbler.
What a great job from controllers understanding the english language of the pilot. Terrible indeed
