What a beautiful and capable aircraft! Its stall characteristics (watched more recent videos than this) are nothing short of amazing. Outside of losing altitude at a gradual rate, the DA62 (and many other DA craft) maintains aileron and rear stabilizer control(!!) in stall conditions!
I work close to the London plant, on midnights I’ll be standing outside and watching pilots test fly the planes made in our community. So quiet you hear them then immediately see them, not like old Cessna planes that roar like out of control lawn mowers. Beautiful aircraft we are proud to produce in London Ontario Canada!
Micke and Martin are back! Our new RUclips documentary is starting end of December 2019. This time you’ll join us on an extraordinary training flight in a DA40 NG from our headquarters in Wiener Neustadt, Austria to Dubai Airshow. Get a glimpse: ruclips.net/video/l-IdnbT5nV0/видео.html
As a simmer I bought this one because I loved the shapes of this bird. I'm now on route for a round the globe trip, so I know I can cross the Atlantic from your route... I just need to find where to go in the Pacific... I guess Alaska / Russia will do the job :)
Would be awesome if Diamond Aircraft would offer: optional dual side panel mounted control sticks, and/or dual rams horn yokels. Aso, because of size/7-place, average flight mission and the power-plants, Diamond should offer an optional pressurized cabin. If any GA twin should have these options, it is the Diamond DA-62...imho. Happy/Safe Flying!
Yes yes yes and yes, i agree!! Side sticks for me please, and a lav in the third row, lift the seat cushion and voila! Pressurization is gonna be super cool if you have kids, they never seem to be comfortable with those nose adapters, and kinda dangerous too (for kids)
I fly GA and cross the channel every now and then. I saw that little life raft and thought, wow cool. Such a neat small package and easy to take on board, maybe I'll buy one. I just went and looked , 1500 euro.. Guess not.
Dude, €1500 is nothing in the aviation world, actually it's like a tank or two of gas Haha, what's wrong with you? Small compact and LIGHT peace of equipment like this i would actually permanently keep in my plane, what is it 10lbs? You must not be a pilot? It's ok. Don't mean to bash on you, but c'mon now...
I would love to see a North Atlantic map with the flight distances corrected/weighted for expected head and tail winds. Might make an Azores Bermuda route seem more attractive than at first glance????
Should put a big ferry tank in it, take everything out of the plane that isnt needed like seats, only take a small overnight bag each, and do the crossing in one shot :p Hell, make it a pacific crossing !
Great videos guys, definitely they positively influenced my decision to buy one! Micke, I went to the link for your RUclips channel but it wasn't available. Did you discontinue it? I do a bit of filming myself, but in 360/VR. I'd love to get some ideas on camera mounting on the DA62. Thanks for making these videos guys!
this is very cool to watch this after first experiencing this aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. i have the knowledge to get the engines running and the flight systems on, but not the skill or legal abilities to fly it. i think i found my goal.
engine upgrade 240-300hp engines needed (hint hint continental) sidestick is a must. OBOGS (on board oxygen generation system/ pressurized cockpit would be a bitchin bonus
Can't wait to fly this thing!
FlightChops When FC comments on a video which you have made, RUclips goals haha 😍 Good luck at your IR exam Steve!
Please take your camera rig with you 🙏🙏 👍
FlightChops we cannot wait to see you fly Diamond
We are very much looking forward to having you guys at our HQ - hopefully soon!
Steve when is your IR exam ? Best wishes for a great sore .
The DA62 is probly the most beautiful aircraft i've ever seen!!! Combine that with the modern cockpit and incredible fuel economy!! I'm in love!!
The initial price is pretty steep though :(
@@makarlock always is :(

I live in New York City. I might come up to London later on in March to see the plant.
Wonderful, Micke! Keep sharing!
Beautiful plane. Would have liked to hear how quiet it was inside with both engines running.
Beautiful plane and wonderful adventure ! Wick lies on the north coast of Scotland, not Ireland (5:02)
My daughter 16 flies the Diamond Aircraft. Her next flight is going over NYC leaving from upstate NYS , beautiful plane
What a gorgeous Aircraft... Look forward to seeing these videos!
Vilket bra jobb du gjort ,Micke!!
Now that’s a cool ride. Thanks

Die 62er ist schon ein großartiges Flugzeug! Echt schön und sparsam, da freut man sich direkt Österreicher zu sein!
Warum, gibt es für Österreicher 50% Rabatt?

Great video, great plane!
I know it can’t be but why does the cabin width look narrower than the 42?
Brilliant video in the most advanced and safest twin in the world!!
Maybe light twin.
Derek Johansen TiDom the Denali isn’t a twin.
@@superskullmaster neither is the king air Haha
Where did you learn your English? It's great.
Probably in school & learned English as his second language .
great video quality !
Any feedback of operating this aircraft in salty and sunny area with no hangar?
Love that plane... shout out from Los Angeles bro... what’s the max speed and range of the 62??
Could you take this thing around the world with a group of 5 people or something?
I would love to see a North Atlantic map with the flight distances corrected/weighted for expected head and tail winds.
Might make an Azores Bermuda route seem more attractive than at first glance????
love the BF109 at the back at 3:16
What are the suits called that you are having to wear??
Episode 2?? When is it being released?
Today is the day of episode 2 - stay tuned every Monday 💎 ✈
What´s the name of the song from 8:55 on??? Please, I need it urgently!!!
best planes on the market,,,, all the windows should have UV and IR filters thou
8:26 is that Johnny Bravo? :D

nice ride guys .....
We need more.
Seems like kinda oldschool constant flow oxy system. Why not a mountain high or similar ? Iirc theyre good to the limit of non mask breathing.
What weather website or app is that you used in the vid ? Great vid
HARRY MAYO-JOY Windy.com :)
@@MickeLang thanks :)
Do you have another chanel in German language?
Great adventure for a young pilot , jeez I would like to be young again
Young guys don't have money to fly
Beautiful airplane
I want the grey one in FS2020!
Awesome

i think i found my goal.
This is not an airplane, nor an ultimate flying machine.....it is a winged poem.
8:15, ya'll could really use a "Best Tug." Just saying, who wants to fiddle with choke, and engines when you can just deal with electric power!?
Sorry but I have to watch the video again to see the plane , I only saw how handsome the guy is . Where are you from ??
He's a student pilot from Austria .
Flying such long distances without a lav on board......sounds not very compfi to me !
It worked out pretty well haha We never had an issue ;P
Your diamond isn’t ETOPS, is it?
I wish I could have a great aircraft like this...
I would love to do ferry flights, much more adventure than on the line
Cool. Vid starts with the end...
didnt know "ricky martin" flew planes....
Johnny Bravos brother!
It’s dream 😍
Cooler Flieger, cooles Video :)

I thought his name was chad
Its Johnny Bravo
I cannot love a woman like how I love this aircraft. So much to say about it.
That plane looks like a bird......and with a true joystick...
video starts at 8:55
Dude, if u ever get kidnapped u are worth a hefty ransom 😂😂😂
Thx daddy
Great looking airplane except for those ugly engine nacelles.
omg you're cute
I foresee a date in the near future
