- I found this Honda Civic EK Hatchback located in north west Arkansas. It has a JDM H22A engine and B16 transmission with a limited slip differential. Also its completely rust free with fresh paint. The moment I saw this car, I knew I had to have it as a track car! The next night I bought my plane ticket from O’Hare Chicago to XNA Arkansas. The Flight was under 2 hours, but the drive home was 10. When I arrived in Arkansas and saw the EK hatch for the first time, I was mind blown. It is the cleanest car I’ve owned in my life and its almost 25 years old. After test driving the Civic, I was ready to make my 10 hour drive home on drag suspension. Hope you guys enjoy! Yes man...looking forward to this one...H series has been my favorite for years...is just like you said is underrated cuz everyone is just in love with k series, i wanted to start and h build when i had my del sol but the only mechanic i had on the area trash all the engines just wants everyone to oit k series on it cux he have lots of spears k series engines....so one day i hope i can do something by myself when i get a place with a good space.... blessings

Haha i drove to San Diego from Phoenix Az to buy my 2011 Si. Didnt know if it was gonna blow or not. Did one test drive on the highway. Made it back to Phoenix no issues. Drive it till this day with no issues. Starter went bad but obviously replaced that. Did the basic tune up of course. First time watching this channel as well 💪🏾💪🏾

This takes me back to my high school days when I had an EK hatch with the H22a and it was the funniest car I have ever had! Currently stacking parts for my first K swap in an EG hatch so I am hoping to have more fun with this one 😄
I was going to do a junkyard f20b with a b16 trans build for my ej2 coupe, I had almost everything except transmission, ecu, and harness..ended up scratching that plan and got a complete k20z3 motor and trans, then bought a k24a2 bottom end, and started collecting all brand new parts for the all motor high compression(12:5.1) k24/20 build, hoping to make around 320-330whp on e85

I had the same H22A and same trans in a 94 Integra 4 door gsr,small tune and it was pushing 220 to the wheels I had a lot of fun with that car back in the early 2000s its awsome to find an ek hatch in great shape and not a kswap

Oh man, I love the f20b! I have a f20b long block with 60k miles that’s been sitting outside my house for 4yrs now because I decided to go all motor k-series…going to end up building that f20b one day and slapping it on a crx or something, maybe do an awd turbo set up with it

My old h2B eg was quite a blast to drive. H22a euro R mated to a usdm ITR trans, was absolutely fantastic. Now I’m over here putting a k24 in my SiR, can’t stay away from the big blocks!
Hey cam, do you have an email? I would like to ask you about the wiring part of the h22a euro r into an eg chassis. I have the motor and the trans just need to figure out the wiring part. Did you buy a harness or modify your factory harness? If you could please help me out, I would really appreciate it. My eg originally has the d15b7 motor in it.

I've got a ek 99 with a f20b twin cam bro and it's one of the most underrated honda engines out there. They eat up rb20 turbo
You’re gonna have nightmares of FRM sleeves!! 😂 jk h series are great engines! I’m building an h22a with nippon type S pistons,KS balance shaft delete, blox type B cams, springs and retainers. Full build ons on E85 in my 4 gen prelude! I’m hoping for 250whp but I’m thinking I’ll have 225 whp.

Yo how do you know the difference between the h22a 195 hp and the h22a euro r 217hp
If you boost that H22 use a gsr trans. B16 transmissions are honestly not that strong. North if 5 or 600hp there may be issues
