When I was about four I cut off like all of my hair for some reason and now I’m fifteen and it’s down to my lower back. This makes me wish I took more pictures. Thanks for showing this!

Laura Orona Thank you so much! I did not notice a difference. I think it’s grown back a slightly more strawberry color, but other than that, it’s my same old hair. :)

When I shaved my head the growing out process was not this glamorous. My hair looked super weird most of the time

Louise Fernannda Thank you so much! I’ve honestly just been so excited to grow it out. I did enjoy the kind of boy-ish phase a bit, but I’m glad it’s longer again. I’m really glad I did this and was able to have the experience, though. I wouldn’t do it any differently.

I just decided to grow out my buzz cut of two years and your videos inspire me! Throughout these two years did you ever take any vitamins or shampoo that specifically promote hair growth? I'm wondering if its worth the investment
Casey Gallop Thank you so much! I’m so glad my videos did something good. To my understanding, anything topical for hair growth usually doesn’t do anything because hair growth has to come from the follicles which are on the inside, where topical stuff doesn’t reach. I tried Biotin a few different times, but it makes my acne worse, so I always stop taking it. I’m not a professional whatsoever, I’ve just done a ton of research on my own and these are some consistencies I found a lot. I think it’s super important to do your own research and try things for yourself to find out what works best for you.

I just let it grow out, but I did get two small trims in the first year to get rid of the mullet
Back when I got my buzz cut like 2 months ago I started doing this but then stopped because I didn’t feel like doing it anymore lol

In the 2 years did you use any hair growth vitamins or oils? Did you do trims to keep it healthy? If you did, how often did you get trims? Looking forward to the video on why you decided to cut it :) I had the nape of my head shaved and I'm growing it out now and it looks kinda funky right now. 15% of me wants to just chop it all to one length lol
I tried Biotin, but it made my skin break out more, and that was all I took to try and help it. I didn’t use any hair oils or anything because it’s my understanding that topical treatments don’t work for hair growth. I only got two trims and that was in the first year, but the second year, I didn’t cut or trim it at all, I just wanted it to do it’s own thing. Just my two cents, but if you want to shave it, it really is an awesome experience! I don’t know if I’d ever do it again, but I’m glad I did it at all :) good luck with your hair growth!

Were you using any essential oils ir anything to fasten the hair growth?

I did not do any trimming or cutting or any oils. I really tried to let it be as natural as possible.
The first time I let my hair grow it came from a medium size hair and with six months I was able to do a pony tale, now I'm six months letting from a buzzcut and I have the sensation thatd never gonna grow

What’s your hair texture/type?
Texture is really straight. Very thin pieces, but a lot all together. Also, super slippery if that makes sense haha.
I wanna try short haircuts too, but I don't want to cut 70cm of my hair....
Short hair is worth it but in same time I hope you will not regret it 🥰

I'm a guy but ive been growing my hair out for a while now and my hair pretty long at this point but not anywhere near anything that looks good and I'm just trying to power through the awkward phases. The hair in the back tends to curl out to the sides and it's really annoying so I'm just curious. Maybe it's because I'm a guy but how did you get your hair in the back to stay down that whole time?
So, mine did flip up quite a bit at the bottom, but my hair texture is naturally pretty straight and flat, so it just kinda flattened out on it’s own...I do know that there are things like pomade to try, or blow drying your hair with a round brush, curling under could help!
@@juliagullerud1561 thanks for the tip, I have tried pomade but my hair was very stubborn about wanting to stick out. After like 4 months I actually just today think i realize how to handle my hair. The back still sticks out but its actually even now and not nearly as awkward as it was. If my new way of handling it proves to not be the cure all I think it is I will definitely consider that blow drying tip though

For me, it did not grow back thicker. It grew back pretty much the same as it was before.

Ive been thinking about buzzing my hair for about a month now. My hair grows super fast, but I’m worried that buzzed hair won’t suit me. The shortest I’ve even gone was a bob cut, that reached the bottom of my jaw. Any advice?
Lithium Princess Honestly, it’s so worth it to do it just to have the experience. You won’t ever have those wonderings satisfied until you go for it. Luckily, it is hair, so it grows back :) the process to grow it back if you don’t like it can be frustrating, but it really helped me to take pictures every week because I could see that growth was happening. If you end up doing it, let me know! I’d love to see it!
