    I took a flight to Denver and picked up my model 3 from a private seller and drove it back to AZ. Seller kept the car in his Tesla account so I could supercharge on the way home.

    Solid couple of videos. I did not know that I wouldn't be able to supercharge at all until it was transferred to my name. That is very good to know since I'm looking at possibly going to the next state over to get mine.

      Thank you! Yeah sometimes the supercharging will work without having it transferred in your name but some of the time you will need to transfer it.

    Thanks for the information. Love this color. Do you think better to buy model s instead of your 3. Any bad experience you have since purchased.

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  Год назад +1

      I would still buy a new model 3 over a model s because of autopilot, sentry mode or other features. But I absolutely love my Model S for different reasons including the free supercharging, and more room than the model 3 and so on. I don’t have any bad experience per say, but just make you inspect whatever model you decide to go with especially if it is used. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching.

    Can you buy extended warranty from if it isn’t bought from Tesla and have had issues since your purchase?

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  Год назад

      Some dealerships may offer an extended warranty but most of them won’t. Also you can buy them from warranty companies most will just refer you to Tesla. Tesla is going to be the only place that can fix most issues with your car. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

    How can you tell if the Tesla has free supercharging

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  Год назад +1

      I will probably have to make a video about this exact question in the future, but I will try to answer it as best as I can. Models 2012-2015 should have free supercharging unless it was sent back to Tesla who can remove it. You can also look at the recent supercharging history and it should show $0 for supercharging cost. I will explain more in a future video. Thank you for watching!

    What about buying from a dealer that purchased it from an auction?

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  2 года назад +1

      Buying from a dealership that bought the Tesla from an Auction isn’t bad at all. You may even save some money depending on the dealer. Make sure to inspect it just like any electric vehicle and you should be fine.

      Thank you for your reply. I may be picking up a 2013 today with 102k. I just hope it has the free supercharging. I would be the second owner. No warranty it’s an as is sale

      If it is a 2013 or 2014 chances are that it has free supercharging. You will enjoy having free charging it is nice to know you won’t pay anything no matter where you drive. Sounds like you are getting a good deal. Let me know if you have any questions.

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  3 года назад

      Perfect! This will have free super charging built into the VIN. $28,000 is a good starting point for negotiations based on the mileage.

  • @lesliegweir
    @lesliegweir Год назад +1

    Free supercharging will be removed if the car was ever re-marketed by Tesla.

    • @LASTROUNDED
      @LASTROUNDED  Год назад +2

      True which is why I recommend purchasing from a dealer or an individual. But Tesla typically doesn’t resell the older models like 2012-2015 because they will be out of warranty soon or already are. So they normally resell 2017 and newer because it is still in warranty and doesn’t have free supercharging anyways. Thank you for watching!
