Unfortunately all the ones you mentioned require an subscription. You can stream business programming for free on RokuTV, Pluto, and Sling but it won’t be what you are wanting. I know you can stream up 30 minutes per day of Bloomberg on your phone or tablet and the website for free.

It is definitely the way to go. But the only challenge is the battery replacement if that happens to you like it did me. Outside of that EVs are the way to go!

You should be able to just download from the Roku app. Just search for them in the search and download them.

My Model X and S are both 2016. I think my Model X had 54k miles on when I got it. I wouldn’t worry about the issues that it may have because some of items may have already been replaced by the current owner that you are buying it from.

@LASTROUNDED Sorry to hear that, how many miles were on it when the battery went? That's been my fear when looking at a used S. Seems there's no way to tell how long the battery will last. I've contemplated just buying one with a known bad battery (recently saw a 2012 S for 8k) then replace with a warranty. Or maybe I'll just stick with my ICE car.

Yeah it stinks for sure. The car had about 98k on it so not even 100k miles on it for it died. Yeah you can never tell. I still purchased two used ones because of the free supercharging. You can’t beat it. Don’t be afraid of the battery dying plus if you get it repaired you will have a warranty on the new battery which shouldn’t fail for a while. Well unfortunately in this case the battery is completely nonfunctional.

This is the common way of doing it, its most likely just a few cells that have gone bad and after exchanging these the battery pack is as new. Just to clarify this could happen on ANY EV, not just Teslas.

Good point I just personally don’t care to have a lease. I have a car fund for repairs and buying new vehicles. Just my preference but I know leasing isn’t a bad option for some people.

Honestly Tesla didn’t provide much details on why the battery failed. I mainly charged at home 98% of the time. I didn’t supercharge that much only when taking trips. It had about 98k before it died.

I thought the battery warranty was 8 years/100,000 miles or os that only on the newer models?

The battery warranty on the older models is 10 years or unlimited miles whichever comes first. The 10 years ended February 2023 if I remember correctly.
