I identify closer with the Mamas and Papas songs than I do the Beach Boys, but Brian Wilson had a much better voice. Let's say two groups of people moved onto my block - a house full of folkie hippies, the other house full of frat boys. @@travisjames3517 I have everything they've ever done, including John's obscure "Pussycat". "Eyes And Ears" was the first album I bought, in 1967. I also have about 30 Beach Boys albums. John's arrangements were great. Brian's were greater.
She is 76, so we'll see. Cass died in 1974, age 33. John died in 2001, age 65. Denny died in 2007, age 66. So so far, Michelle has outlived each of her bandmates by one decade+.

Mama Michelle is the last surviving original member of the Mamas and Papas- her band mates have since passed away!!!

I disagree. Listen to some of their lesser known songs and you’ll hear why they had the best harmony.

This was almost 25y ago and she was in her mid 50s Now she is nearly 80 and looks her age. Still, she looked incredible for that age back in 99.
