To quickly explain:
SMT V Vengeance added passive Abilities for Demons that work like Abilities in Pokemon. Some Demons like Gogmagog and Arahabaki have ones unique to only them.
Gogmagogs Ability increases the damage he deals for every Weakness in your Party.
Arahabakis Ability applies any Debuffs,Buffs or Things lile Charge he has on him to any Demon coming out of the Stock.
This lets Arahabaki always give Gogmagog Impalers Animanus, while Gogmagog gets empowered by the multitude of Weaknesses in the Party.
The last key in the Puzzle is the new Magasuhi Skill "Strategize" which lets you pass turns or swap demons without using up said turns.
Combine all this and you get this Video

One thing i dont understand is whats with the constant summoning and desummoning?

Basically Arahabaki makes it so everytime you summon someone from your stock, that demon will get all of his buffs/debuffs. The important one being the Impaler Animus so Gog can go through Shiva's physical resistance. So I constantly resummon him so he gets Impaler's back every time before attacking again.
