Very good work! I owned one exactly the same, but red.. (maybe the best car I owned so far) Had the same problem with the doors, heavy rust at the bottom, but the worst was .. it was not possible to buy any spare parts for it anymore here in Sweden..so I gave up, :-( .. and sold it for one symbolic sum to a collector of Datsun / Nissan
I just saw your car for sale on Marktplaats and my heart sank. Such a beauty and a shame you are letting her go. She has been restored fully, so I hope only real enthusiasts will be interested. She really deserves a good home
Geen zorgen! Ze hoeft niet per se weg hoor. Maar ik wil graag weer een ander uniek stuk gaan redden & restaureren. Heb al een buitenlandse koper afgewezen, heb daar geen zin in haha. Ze blijft in Nederland! Er komt 1 persoon kijken, hij heeft nog een 200L dus dat zou goed samengaan. Als die 'm niet koopt houd ik dr gewoon ;)
Not to worry, i made sure that didn't happen ;) I sold it to another Dutch Laurel enthousiast. He has another Datsun 200L, so i knew it would go to a good home. I did get a offer from overseas, but i refused it. I wanted a Dutch buyer, and so i found one! He was estatic, and loved the car! I dont think he'll ever sell it :) makes me happy i could sell it to someone like that. Now i have room for other rare pojects... ;)
