- We removed the middle/jump seat out of our Navigators second row bench to put in a second center console in for the rear passengers! This is how we made it work! This will also work for the Expedition. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this! I’m wanting to do the same and remove the jump seat and add a console. This made it easier to see the install.
Of course!!! Glad it is helping people out. I just did it again with and 2004 Expy and fitted in the Navigator console removing the jump seat. Turned out great!

I'm actually using this video from reverse because I'm removing my console it's filled with junk and all my kids do is climb over the top of it so I'm getting rid of it to create space thank you

Me too. I wanted to see how it looks with the middle seat removed for accessibility to the third row. The lady got out through the space fast. She is industrious and smart.
Really appreciate this video. I have a Ford Expedition with captains and found a rear center console at my local pull-a-part out of a Navigator and I’m planning on installing it. So this video is very helpful.

@@diznylnd just got it done, an very excited !!! I have the only 2nd-gen Expy with the rear console 😁. Again I can’t thank you enough for your video 🙏 🙏🙏…. the information that you gave on the factory bolts for the middle seat being in there was worth in gold!! I literally felt is if I struck gold when I pulled my carpet back and seen them. They even had a factory cut out in the padding right were the brackets connected I’m assuming for the middle seat as witch mines had captains already in them so it was carpet covering it up. Thanks again I really appreciate it

I’m looking to do the opposite and add the center seat. I can’t tell if you had extra bracket locations that were unused or not. Will I have to cut the carpets to expose brackets?
I believe the holes are their for the jump seat from factory, you’ll have to let me know. I was scared the right things wouldn’t be there for the console and it all was!

Where did you get your mats at that fit so perfectly over the wholes? I’m actually trying to remove my console so my daughter has an easier time getting in the back.
Hi 👋. It’s just the stock mat from the middle row and turned it sideways. I purchased smart liner mats on Amazon for the rest of the car as well. They are amazing. Super easy to clean and maintain. Hope that helps.

Hi what tool did you use to install the smaller bolts from the console into the floor ? I can barely get my fingers in there lol

As long as the seats didn’t have arm rests attached it should in theory work just the same!
