@@grayleighsilvers7519 there are various versions of 1i. Mine come with 8 Gb of ram and when I opened the back, it has an empty slot so I can upgrade it to 16 Gb
mine doesn't have the slot for the ram even though I have the same computer that is shown in the video, I don't think my computer is upgradable

Mine came with 4GB DDR4 RAM so this video helps a lot i didn't know you coild upgrade the RAM for this specific laptop i thought it was built into the motherboard unfortunately mine dosn't have a RAM slot as far as i can see.

@@curtisbrooks7190 Yeah they removed the RAM slot so it can't be upgraded but you can upgrade the SSD with more memory.

I’ve got the Lenovo idea pad 1i 14inches and I bought the extra memory card and opened it up and the port to slide the card into does not exist inside mine can this laptop be upgraded otherwise I need to send the card back 😢
Mine is 15 inch screen, not 14 inch. It came with 12 gen i5 processor. The 14 inch doesn't have the expansion slot

The motherboard only has 8 g soldered on it. You need another 8 g to have a dual channel running. I am not sure you can install 32 g on it
Why u install 1 ram of 8 Gb But then the pc has 16 Gb?
It has 8 g on board, so I added another 8 g to make it 16g so it give the cpu more ram for the graphics
There is a big speed difference of the ram, if the chip is square, it’s slower. If the chip is slightly rectangular, it’s faster. If the chip is more rectangular, it’s the fastest. About 1-2 GB capacity. It’s ideal to get the fastest ram, if the video chip uses the ram. Stickers need to be removed inside the laptops, they represent the user as gay, if satellites look through the device. Black stickers and foils put the laptop on blacklist. To remove these, you need liquid thinner or similar. I use my nails to do that.
