I'm kinda iffy on putting my camper on an f150. Mine ways 1,439 pounds but yours looks a little heavier. Did you put helper springs on the ford? If you didn't how's it holding up?
If I'm going to stay more than one night, I unload it. It takes less than 15 minutes to unload, in less than 15 minutes to load. This is probably one of the easiest truck campers to put on and take off because of the way it connects to the truck.
I have the six and a half foot bed. Yes I can close the tailgate, and lock it, which makes the camper much more secure. I did have to take the bumpers off the front of the camper to do that.
@@slmjake sorry I didn't see this. The truck handles really well. This is the best RV setup I've ever owned in terms of handling and braking. It almost handles too well. On exit ramps I have to remind myself to drive the posted speed limit. The center of gravity is pretty high, so if it starts to tip it's going to go over pretty quickly.
Have you used this for cold weather camping?
How does it handle cold/how do you like the unique heating system?
Thanks!
I haven't used it in extremely cold weather.

How do you access and tighten the ratcheting tie downs closest to the cab?
There's plenty of room.
How long does it take to load/unload? Do you ever unload it at the campsite? Or is that too much hassle?

How the truck respond. ? Is heavy ?
It drives better than any RV I have ever owned.
Thanks i have a 2017 Toyota tundra
It looks like your camper was sitting on grass. Do you have any problems with the jack legs sinking into the ground?
The jack legs are on top of 2x8x8 pieces of wood. They don't sink.
How do you like the camper? What kind of payload is it?
Would love to hear more about the camper and how it handles etc.

@@thisoldrv thanks for the feedback sir!! How about mpgs?
Definitely too heavy for that truck and payload capacity. Thanks for being a danger to everyone else on the road.
