I just found your channel and it’s so refreshing! You are so relatable and open in this video, thank you for that.

So relatable. Im in Missouri and am just starting growing flowers. I’ve been to the farmer’s market 4 times and all in all, I’ve not made anything. The flowers are melted and wilted within the first 15 minutes, and even if they do stay decent looking, everyone walks past them and races towards ready-made food vendors. It brought me to tears today but I did make a contact to sell my flowers (hopefully) to a florist. I hope this works out and I hope you and Tracy find that true happiness again in all your next endeavors. ❤ love from Mo….Cia

@thevagabondsageinthewoods even up here in Ohio, flower vendors always seem to struggle. I've watched countless customers walk by a beautiful set up of flowers just to point out and ooh and aah about their beauty, but rarely buy a thing. Food truck vendors and snack/junk food vendors seem to do the best at markets. I don't think most people know how to actually cook food that isn't wrapped in packaging with microwave instructions on the back lol

You take the good you take the bad and there you have the facts of life.

Hi there! I'm so sorry the farmers' market thing didn't work out for you. I grew up going to farmers' markets almost every week and buying produce at road-side stands. I noticed a market not too far from me and your video makes me want to drop everything and go buy a few things to support local providers. I had never stopped to think of all the work and expense that goes into providing these great products. I just looked and they close soon so I'll stop watching and pop over there and finish your video when i get back. BTW, congrats on being up over 600 subscribers! Soon you'll break the magic 1,000. Looking forward to congratulating you on that day.

It is so important to help support local producers. You never know, your support could be be the difference of paying their mortgage on time, or giving them the gas money to get where they need to go.
I've got my fingers crossed that soon I'll be above the magic number :)

What about setting up a little farm stand by the road? It is very common here in Maine and some of the best places to get fresh baked goods.

I've thought about trying that out. We don't get much traffic on our road, so I'm not sure if it would be a worth while venture, but it would be a fun venture to try out
