- In this video (part 2), I venture into a remote location and sink my shovel into ancient gravels to find gold the "old timers" missed. Upon further assay of the first two trips, I've decided to come back on this third time with more daylight, lighter equipment, and one goal in mind, move even more dirt. This is part 2 of 2 videos I will be publishing on this location, subscribe for more videos like this. For preservation, the location is not to be revealed.

Happy holidays Brother!

It really is fun editing and filming along with prospecting! :)
Our constant struggle is to try and get a couple more buckets classified and run. You ran a lot and got some good gold! Merry Christmas 🎅

New subscriber!
Welcome aboard!
Do you put the heavy rock back or leave it were it is?
I noticed on other programs they don't bury the holes they dig.
I did reclamate this location after working it! I like to start with the largest boulders then use smaller rocks to fill in the gaps and top it off with some nice overburden
I don't need the location, but what state atleast. My new hobby and I live in the northeast. Want to know what to look for when I go
Theres not a ton of gold in the NE portion of the United States, but that doesnt mean there isnt any! Basically look for bedrock, large boulders and make sure you are in an area where gold has been found before! Gold needs friction in order to drop out of suspension, so areas with sudden bends, or with sharp bedrock crevices are good places to start. There are many other RUclips channels that can teach you about where and how to look for gold. Chris Ralph, Dan Hurd, Vo-gus prospect, are all good channels to start learning from 👍🏼
@OneManMining ok brother, thanks for all the good intel! I really appreciate it. Thank you and good luck!
It’s better with no background music.
@@paulatyler8218 thank you 😊
Oh ya, and what's the best sluice to buy. So I don't loose any gold. If there is any.
As far as sluices go, no sluice will have a 100% capture rate. Depending on the size, shape, and texture of your gold, you could use anything from V-mat and miners moss under expanded steel, gold hog matting, sawtooth matting, or even the dream mat that i use. Given that all of those are designed to catch gold, they will all work to some degree.
@OneManMining ok bro, thanks for the intel. I am in the northeast. So probably placer gold, flour gold, maybe pickers. Which sluice and mat do u recommend. I want to get the right1 for my area the 1st x
You know Id say I am biased towards sluices as I tend to only use the Dream matting from Prospectors Dream, it will catch fine placer gold pretty well and the clean up is super easy
@@OneManMining which dream mat do you think would be best for my area. I still haven't bought the sluice yet. I want tonget the right 1 the 1st x around. Also, what sluice should I get? 24, 36, 42 inch long? And how wide is good? At the top of the sluice, does this joint you mentioned have a river sluice with the 4 inches of black Hungarian rifles at the top. Any intel would be great! Thanks again.
