I'm from Harlingen, went to Gaymans for the first time today for a few hours- stopped at the same bait shop and bought frozen squid- no luck for me or anyone else. What bait would you recommend and what time?
I recommend you try live bait. Usually when it's biting like that is in the colder times. But live bait has worked best for me. Also fishbites with dead shrimp works well for reds and drum. I usually try going either really early in the morning or in the afternoon.
Thanks for posting bro, I like the fact your recorded everything from getting the bait to the end of the day

do game wardens go by?
Yes they do at random. Honestly It's better to get your license and pay 20 to 40 bucks or whatever it is than to pay a 200$ fine.
