I'm autistic, and I rapidly blink when trying to make eye contact with people, and continue to blink more when I look away because I'm trying to focus on what they are saying. The blinking happens when I'm uncomfortable with social interactions. Which is almost always.
I don't know how many times as a kid people thought I was lying because of my rapid blinking. Plenty of times my parents would punished me because they thought I was lying cause I couldn't look them in they eye and I was rapidly blinking.
0:21 this is the one i’m most curious about. Right when he’s rapidly blinking. It always seems like if i ask a certain question or challenge someone in a certain way they do this.
I would be interested to know what you think of Jake Wood's eye blinking during his video while defending Harry regarding receiving the ESPY award. Is he uncomfortable with what he's saying??
Sounds like they tryna annoy people or wanna come off as intense. Def not normal behavior unless they do it all the time cause it's already a weird habit.
@@ncmcdonnell5486 You'll just have to trust me, lol. The thing about body language is it doesn't apply to everyone equally all the time. There could be any number of reasons for certain mannerisms. I just blink my eyes rapidly when I'm thinking, or trying to focus, or trying to remember something, or nervous, or trying to see better, etc. I often look up at the ceiling to the left or right. Just quirks. I'm sure some people do these things when lying but one can't assume everyone does.
This isn't always true. Most people who are autistic rapidly blink. Examples: Looking someone in the eye. Trying to focus on a situation when things are chaotic. When someone is talking to them or when we talk to people or too many people are talking at once in a group conversations. In an environment they are unfamiliar with. That just a few examples. Too many times people have misjudged my rapid blinking as I'm lying. This kind of thinking usually puts many autistic people in a stressful situation because people believe they're lying from rapid blinking when we are not.
Bob Newhart blinks constantly. I don't think he is a chronic liar. Meghan blinks rapidly when she is being ignored. My supervisor blinked rapidly when delivering bad news which she did not want to deliver. Still, rapid blinking could be a tell for a liar as well.
Can you do an episode on Prince William’s strange behavior. He swaying, unable to stand up straight and dropped medals. I’m surprised you haven’t made any videos about Kate missing and the cues of information being put out about her hospitalization. I’ve seen you dig hard on Meghan’s subtle behaviors?
Glad to see you uploading videos again. I love your analysis.

Interesting, thank you for sharing!
That’s why watching a person and noticing what their baseline is - matters
My son is also autistic, blinks rapidly during stressful interactions. He's the most honest person I know.

Excellent video, BLG!
Hoping you'll do more lives again Jesus. They're SO entertaining and informative.
To summarize, every time Ragland opens her mouth she should be rapidly blinking! 😂😂
TBW blinks rapidly when she is super pissed off or has been chided. 100% of the time. 🤣
TBW? Meaning, name, who? I looked it up and none of the definitions indicate it's a person.
@ this is an old moniker from the most hilarious parody a few years ago.
My grandfather couldn't produce tears. He constantly blinked 3 to 4 times a second.
Whoa. Everybody try that for a second (lol). 3-4 times per second? I physically cannot do it even once.
You need to evaluate
The press secretary carine jean pierre. She blinks so fast. That one day she will levitate
If rapid blinking is a sign of lying then every time Meghan Markle speaks her eye lids must go ten to the dozen!😂
How about your Prince? Where’s his princess? Weirdo
There’s no mention of Meghan Markle in the video. Did you watch it ?
And, Jesus is back! Thank you. 🌟
Thanks for the tips!
Loved these facts
Thank you, Jesus! Loved the explanation.

Amber Heard must not be able to walk and speak if rapid blinking is a sign of lying because she won’t be able to see where she’s going!😂
Corine Jean-Pierre is good example of this
What if some talks with there eyes half closed, and occasionally opens eyes and closes again, like reveres blinking.

Sign of stress too.
Does it always mean they're lying willfully? Or can it happen when deep down they don't believe what they're saying, even if they think they do?
You have to watch the video of Courtney Love when being interviewed for Montage of Heck. I've never seen anyone blink that fast. It's insane.
Ooh I want to see that now.
No, it isn't. I do it all the time and I'm not lying.
How do we know whether to believe that? (Joking)

That's because that's your baseline. Jesús addresses that here.
During blinking your brain make micro detachments from reality for various reasons. Not neccesarily lying
My mama had a fast blink. And not a lier.
Probably a sign of allergies or dry hurting eyes

That is just Bob Newhart's baseline. It's his normal setting.
I learned nothing, thanks.
