- Good day everyone! Here's the recipe of my special egg pie ala leche flan. Hope you guys like it.
Ingredients
For Pie Crust
1 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
2 tbsp of sugar
1/2 tsp iodized salt
3/4 cup of butter
1 whole egg yolk
4tbsp of milk
1/4 cup all purpose flour
For the filling
6 whole large eggs
2 tsp of vanilla
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condense milk
additional : 1 whole egg white

Hi po. Can we substitute the evap milk with fresh milk?
Also, ung 1 can po of evap and condensed is ung 375ml?
yes po we can substitute the fresh milk (but magiging soggy napo sya)😊
Hi chef ask ko lng po. Yung gawa ko po kasi sobrang me bubbles pano po ba maging smooth. Completely cooled down ko po yung milk mixture. Salamat po
make sure po na smooth and creamy ang pag-gawa mo ng filling and tap mo 3 to 4 times bago mo isalang para walang bubbles.

Chef thank you po for sharing your recipe.. Tanong ko lang po chef.. ilang mins po bago ilagay yung egg sa milk mixture ??? Para d po maluto yung egg..
Basta po pagkahango, mix lang po nang konti..kahit mga 1 or 2 mins..then add na yung egg.. :)
Good afternoon chef daisy! Verify ko lang po yung baking time? Yung 350F for preheating lang po ba yun? Kapag sinalang ko na po para ibake ibaba ko na sa 140C? Or 350F 20mins plus 140C 1hr and 20mins po total?
Preheat your oven at 350F, bake for 20 mins at 350F, den baba mo sa 300F/140C bake for 1hr or more if needed (do a toothpick test).. :)

Hi Chef! Super sarap ng egg pie! Question lang medyo dumikit yung crust ng pie ko sa pan? Anu po dapat gawin? Kelangan ba mgspray ng nonstick spray before putting the dough?
Salamat po at nasarapan nyo po...regarding sa crust po, wag nyo pong lagyan ng butter yung pan kasi possible tumigas yung crust.. better if parchment paper nalang sa buttom part and using spring form pan 8 or 9 inches.. :)

hello chef pag convection microwave oven po ggmitin may fan sa likod nya anong temperature po ggmitin at ilang oras?
same temp mas mabilis at pantay lang luto nya pag convection po pero syempre monitor pa din para sure luto mag toothpick test po ha bago alisin 😘
Nay daisy baka naman pwedeng brownies ng N.E. Ang sunod mo na gawin mis na mis ko na talaga yun yung may mani sa taas

Question lahat ng size ng eggs laging large size gamit mo? Iyong egg pie although out ng baking 350 F or ibaba sa 140 C ? Kailan dapat gawin iyon. Nabasa ko kasi ? Puwede bang gawin parang mga mini egg pie ito ? Anong pan ang puwedeng gamitin ? Salamat ulit sa pag share at pag sagot. Madaaming tanong.

Hi po Chef Daisy. Tinry ko po gawin ito ngayon lang po. Pero i think nagfail po ako. Yung filling nya po hindi ko po sya malasahan na leche flan. Lasang lasa ko po yung egg talaga and wala po syang tamis. Sinunod ko naman po yung recipe niyo. San po kaya ako nagkamali? :(
baka po sa milk brand po...kaya po tumabang..and dapat pagkahalo ng milk sa stove at medyo may init na konti saka mo add yung egg.. mix well para mawala lansa ng egg.. then cook well... para maging ok ang result ng eggpie mo.. :)
