Thanks, that was helpful! It took me a second to realize that when you said to "hit the switch," that you meant to turn the ignition switch. I got it and my light is reset!
Thanks so much! I am due for an oil change and this lit up. But I am about 300 miles from home and started freaking out thinking it might have been something else. I reset it and I am good to go. Really appreciate it!
You should mention the fact that you must keep your foot off the brake when you hit the engine start button ... most people hit brake at the same time because that’s required to start the car. Pressing the brake defeats the reset - so keep your foot off the brake.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I’m glad you like the video and found it helpful. I have a Toyota Highlander series planned for the near future where I’m going to just cover a lot of different topics on that particular car. Thanks again and have a great day.
Still helping people 4 years later. Thanks!
That’s great, thanks for taking the time to comment.
This is very well done; short, sweet and to the point. You made it very easy for me to reset it! Thank you!!!

Wow it works
Could be a bad sensor.
Didn't work.
Edit: turn ignition off then on to just power electronics, not the engine. And keep your foot off the brake. Now it works.
I tried this, didn’t work. Jiffy lube forgot to reset mine.
Sorry to hear that.
This would only work for me if the driver's door was closed. It could just be me of course, lol, but figured I'd throw that tidbit out there.
interesting
