    In other videos they removed the internal metal plug using a 3/8 socket, then inserted before removing the filter housing with the large filter housing wrench attachment. a plastic plug to allow the filter o oil to drain

      The plug is to drain the oil filter . So when you remove the filter it would be less mess :)

    forgot the oil plug washer (new)!and use torque wrench to prevent over tightening and possible stripping the threads!

      I never remove oil plug . It’s not leaking no point touching . I remove whole filter housing .
