Mike is a raging death machine hiding inside a truly gentle but reluctant soul. As tragic as his trajectory could be seen, without it, we wouldn't have the warrior-philosopher we have today. Mike lived through his shit, he deserves the love today that he didn't get then.

When he was 13 years old, he got to spar with Bobby Stewart, who was a pro fighter working with the troubled youth. Tyson fought him raw as an untrained "nobody" and made him take a knee. Tyson impressed him so much that Bobby Stewart took him to meet Cus and the rest is history. 13/14 year old Mike knocking out grown ass men is still terrifying.

The average male in the US is 5'9 196 pounds. Which is a heavyweight in Boxing just barely. The average heavyweight jab is anywhere from 1300 PSI to 1600 PSI for an average heavyweight boxer. Tyson is on the upper end of that average. With lightning speed. Most people in the streets don't hit over 900 PSI. Actually usually they hit around 600 to 700 PSI normally. Maybe 800 to 900 for the best punchers.

When you read his autobiography that came out a few years ago, you realize what tough neighborhoods Tyson grew up in. He’s not saying it here, but in the book, he tells us that when he and his friends needed money, they would go beat up and rob the local drug dealers. Now that’s what I call a tough neighborhood.

He was arrested 33 times by the time he was 16 and was sent to reform school. Ironically it was at reform school that he met a fighter on the staff that was impressed by his skills and introduced him to Cus who turned him from a young street thug to a pro fighter. If that didn't happen he'd most likely have spent most of his adult life broke and in prison.

    "You a brawler?"
    "Yes...all the time for money."
"What does that mean all the time for money?"
Patrick Bet David asks the most moronic questions. You don't know what the hell all the time for money means.
