People don't realize this ....they're laughing but he's dead serious... He lived a tragic life
Exactly! People treat him like an animal at the zoo.
@@JPF1878 good point, i had the same perception, they dont even try to understand why he was fighting on the streets, just laughing at the beast
Mike is a raging death machine hiding inside a truly gentle but reluctant soul. As tragic as his trajectory could be seen, without it, we wouldn't have the warrior-philosopher we have today. Mike lived through his shit, he deserves the love today that he didn't get then.
He had a very hard life but I don't consider his life tragic... And the fact that he rose above it is a triumph.
I relate to your comment specifically.
He was knocking out grown men in the streets when he was 14.
When he was 13 years old, he got to spar with Bobby Stewart, who was a pro fighter working with the troubled youth. Tyson fought him raw as an untrained "nobody" and made him take a knee. Tyson impressed him so much that Bobby Stewart took him to meet Cus and the rest is history. 13/14 year old Mike knocking out grown ass men is still terrifying.
He was also knocking out grandmas at 13 to steal their handbags, your hero people.
It sounds absurd, but if you look at his build when he was 16, it's really not that hard to believe.
People are laughing and looking up to him but Tyson and his team used to go round violently attacking ANYONE They felt they could rob and maybe assault in other ways too.. God knows how many people died or were crippled or traumatised or r@ped by people in his crew
the guy was REAL Mean back then and Has shown NO Real repentance about what they did
how many women and children and old men and old women did they hurt and terrorise
@@CastleHassall Exactly right.
He was simply a product of his environment. And from what I've seen, Brownsville in the seventies and eighties looked bloody frightening, like a war zone.
It was free. N fun
Today too
It was a crack addicted poor nightmare. Dangerous as hell
“Dangerous as hell”. I can’t help but hear Easy E’s voice when hearing that phrase. Lol
A WARZONE!!!!!!!
You have to admire Mike's candor.
" Money or I was just robbing somebody. "
i have done it bear times so i can relate to what mike tyson is saying I aint saying it like im proud
Get em Mike !!!!!!;;
@@yannikid How are you doing these days? Have you found any bit of peace yet?
Buddy came out the womb making people wish they never left💀
He seems depressed remembering this shit
Because it’s negative. I get ashamed of my street days too
He hates the person he was back then
I bet he loved him also
Living a lifestyle on the wrong side of the law and society weighs heavily on a persons subconscious. They feel like the biggest pieces of shit but at the same time would never change the way they were schooled
@@mattroom4264 🥺
Love hearing his stories.
The greatest
They will never be another Mike tyson!!
There will never be another like anybody, everyone is the best at being themselves, we are all unique.
@WhoThisMonkey I agree that's why I said what I said we'll never see another heavyweight boxer like mike tyson ever again
@WhoThisMonkey
finally...someone who
speaks the truth..😃
I love Mike for his honesty and telling the truth.
Mitch green. remember the picture of him after Mike fought him in the street.
That was one punch. Not even a beat down. Mike was so dangerous when he was young.
Yeah...eye was closed shut 😒 😅
Mike is my new favorite philosopher
people forget he was literally involved in gang warfare when he was younger, he fought to survive
Iron Mike the toughest and most honest man to ever run the streets.
No point having a referee in a mike tyson street fight..
"Aand fight...... nine , ten ... he's out"
R.I.P KIMBO SLICE 💪🏾
Imagine getting robbed by Mike Tyson in the late 70s to early 80s 😂
😂. People would just hand everything over
The mom of a Wu-Tang member (U-God) supposedly had her ear rings snatched by Mike
Hahaha
@@UniqueG24Any source aboyt that
@@rocaw The story's been around for ages, based IIRC on an old U-God interview transcript. Can't tell you the exact source. But if you google "u god tyson ear rings", you will find videos of both U-God and Tyson commenting on that story.
BORN TO FIGHT 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
❤ so pure and honest that makes u still my idol
It's incredible how Mike has grown as a person and is so relaxed and humble now because this guy used to be a One SCARY Dude!
Mike Tyson work ethic practice and skills!
Yes!! Yes yes yes😂
Thats why m. Bison/balrog was created bcoz tyson is a street fighter
I like mike but why is the crowd laughing at him robbering people wtf weirdos
I think its because of just how nonchalantly he said it maybe.
It excites people who’ve never been around it turning them into giddy children
Shouldn't you be doing your homework, kid?
Kid maybe it’s time for you to get off the internet😂
I was thinking the exact same thing
They wouldn't be laughing if they were getting robbed & knocked out.
That’s why he’s so great
People don't know how it be. Mike Tyson is trying to tell them, but it's so beyond them that kids would be fighting for profit on the streets.
Those kinda fighting skills cannot be learnt, only acquired !
That literally doesn’t mean anything😂😂
Your type of stupidity cannot be acquired.
He's just saying you can't learn it from a book you need to learn it by doiny
This is the difference between a combat sports athlete and a true fighter
The more I hear Mike these days, the more I enjoy what he has to say!
Image having to deal with a young Mike Tyson with a peek-a-boo set up
Cus taught him the peekaboo but also took him off the streets and kept him up in the Catskills. So he's talking about the days BEFORE he was trained.
Yes Yes. Street Fighter 🤜🤛. Come one Come All.....👌😄
Mike... I love you Champ. I just want you have some peace. You deserve that... you put in the work and did right by Cus.
He been doing that for years now
I read about this in his book, if anyone out there hasn't read it yet I can tell you it's a really good read.
It’s true.In the yards we used to get our scrap on because if we had mercy on someone it’s better on the grass. All that sneaking a punch on concrete is ur loss
He is a scary guy. He will say something that is so over the top that everyone laughs, until the camera goes back to Tyson, and his face is dead serious.
imagine fighting tyson bare knuckle without a referee💀
You will die from impact.
Love Mike, his honesty ❤
People will applaud anything if the person saying it is famous enough.
That's what I was thinking. "I beat people up to steal from them".
Crowd: laughter and applause.
Mike probably thinks the crowd is a bunch of idiots. He's saying this because it was true, not because he's proud of it. And I certainly don't think he is happy that people are laughing and applauding.
Told y’all street fighter an one bad ass boxer
Mike Tyson ❤❤❤❤
Imagine bare knuckle boxing Mike Tyson...
I gotta get my medical insurance straight first before I start imagining that.
@@goldenonion7139 *life insurance

I love mike !
No wonder Tyson had so many issues as an adult.
Dla mnie i dla wielu innych był,jest i będzie najlepszy w tym co robił najlepiej czyli w boksie,co więcej jeszcze dzisiaj pokazałby nie jednemu pseudo bokserowi gdzie jest jego miejsce
True 👑
Mike actually beat the whole “die a hero or live long enough to become a villain” arc, he’s done the born a villain and lived long enough to become the hero.
Great, another fight to add to his record, and in fact is probably the best fight he’s ever won.
"I was robbing people"
Crowd: Hahahahahahaha ur so funny Mike!!!!
as if they wouldn't be enraged or in tears after getting beaten up and stolen from.
This autobiography is a great read
This isn't actually what Cus said about Mike although he did say the first time he ever saw him he was in fact street fighting
Everything this man says it's the truth. That's why I know he did not rape that woman that accused him.
She went up to his room and then was dancing around the next day, and then she got a payday and an innocent man to jail .
He reused his negative energy......
I don't hate Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul because of money. They deserve to make all the money in the world. I hate this because it is a disrespect to all the great fighters that mike Tyson has beaten.
What disrespect will there be when Jake Paul gets knocked the f out
What are you talking about😂
You are right.
I think he and his crew mostly approached ppl as a gang and robbed or jumped ppl who were overwhelmed easy victims. Not the head up organized agreed upon fight slice was known for.
Was he a street fighter?! He's the only real person thats ACTUALLY IN STREET FIGHTER, THE GAME....
He was fighting with kids his age, oldest, and them father too 🤣
Bro ! Mike Tyson is GOAT literally all I have to say.
THE GREATEST BOXER PERIOD.
RESPECT ,A MAN OF LOVE.
PBD is blown away visualizing a 14yr old Tyson knocking dudes out 4 times a day for money 🤯
Two worlds facing one another 😅
Great man now! Can’t take that away
Imagine having to fight mike on the streets 💀💀💀
Growing up I knew people's that could have been a Tyson if they had the training it's guys that would tear your jaw loose and some hàd feet all that s*** you see now all they needed was the trainer
Amen 🙏 to that .
Yes yes yes .we know its 💯 😂👏👏
ASK MITCH GREEN WHO GAVE HIM THAT BLACK EYE 😂😂😂😂
Why are the audience clapping. He was an animal.
It wasn’t just me. Everyone did that at that time 💪🏼
Why would you ask Tyson if he was a knockout artist? 🤷
Them throwing hands with a toddler is insane not because the toddler isn't strong enough but because he doesn't even know the how or the why.....
wtf is funny about that? Its a freaking tragedy to have to live like that and most do not come out on top like Mike did ... . It does help to understand his hunger and determination though :o
We love you Mike
Asking if Mike Tyson was a knockout artist is like asking if the sky is blue. Jeez, embarrassing.
In boxing he obviously was but pbd was just wondering if Mike was when he as a kid. Some fighters don’t become punchers till they grow and mature , that’s what happened with Tommy Hearns.

When Cus took Mike under his wing. Mike was 12years old, 220Lbs and Solid Muscle. Iron Mike was Born to Fight

The average male in the US is 5'9 196 pounds. Which is a heavyweight in Boxing just barely. The average heavyweight jab is anywhere from 1300 PSI to 1600 PSI for an average heavyweight boxer. Tyson is on the upper end of that average. With lightning speed. Most people in the streets don't hit over 900 PSI. Actually usually they hit around 600 to 700 PSI normally. Maybe 800 to 900 for the best punchers.
And when he was young the average man was closer to 160 pounds.
196lbs 😂😂😂 thays because they'll "big" of you know what I mean
You are forgetting that Tyson's claim to fame is a powerful punch not a quick punch he never had lightning speed
@iditarod4081 He wasn't more powerful that a few fighters he was faster than them though. George Forman was one example and Savers.
Patrick is a good host. Never interrupts his guest, reads his guests' gestures and takes it seriously or lightly depending on his guests.
NYC...yeah ok....down South....6 foot under or alligator bait.....
Kimbo was nowhere near what Tyson would eventually become.
Thats How old Brooklyn was even in Bensonhurst , Bayridge and Gravesend .. I cant count how street fights i had back then .
Just imagine, clapping somebody for saying they robbed people. Animals
Yes Street fighter no techniques so you're going to get beat by a wrestler division 1 it's it's it's it's seconds it's like 10 seconds someone like myself at any age against Mike Tyson it's literally seconds once I grab a hold of them left hand and left-footed and I'm faster speed kills I'm sorry I was born but Mike suck it up Mark Schultz talked about talk to
This dude is freaking awesome
Short stocky 14, 15 wt 190 pound knocking out grown man, he ant bullshiting.
Imagine having the self-unawareness to laugh out lout in the audience
Everyone laughing like he's trying to be funny. Notice he isn't laughing.
Shit 3-4 fight a day . I have 4 fight a year and I went to prison 3 times. And i thought it was too much
That’s what I was like growing up in Brooklyn. These new comer don’t know anything.
Mike would never talk like this if cus was around. never promote your hardship! it belongs to you and you only.
The Magnum Calibre of human clout. Geneva convention banned him for op.
Are people in the audience laughing about poor folks fighting for money in the streets?
When you read his autobiography that came out a few years ago, you realize what tough neighborhoods Tyson grew up in. He’s not saying it here, but in the book, he tells us that when he and his friends needed money, they would go beat up and rob the local drug dealers. Now that’s what I call a tough neighborhood.
Imagine how many many men were dispatched and knocked out by this beast😂😂
Funny fact: Mike tyson beat the brains out of people for a living. His brother became a brain surgeon for his. 😂
the power was always there.. even back then... its rhe same power
I find his nonchalant way of saying things funny.."Money or else I was robbing somebody"
Mike was already stretching grown men out at the age of 12 then Cus D’Amato started training him.
He was arrested 33 times by the time he was 16 and was sent to reform school. Ironically it was at reform school that he met a fighter on the staff that was impressed by his skills and introduced him to Cus who turned him from a young street thug to a pro fighter. If that didn't happen he'd most likely have spent most of his adult life broke and in prison.
“I was robbing somebody”…and everyone starts laughing.🤔
This is kind-of the story of the Japanese legend musashi miyamoto
"You a brawler?"
"Yes...all the time for money."
"What does that mean all the time for money?"
Patrick Bet David asks the most moronic questions. You don't know what the hell all the time for money means.
Is this dude fkn simple?… tf you mean “all the time for money, what does that mean?” 💀🤦♂️ ffs
Question: who is the goat?
Answer : Mike iron Tyson is and forever be the goat 💪
