Great vidio, So my Yard layout is a , outdoor railroad /garden railroad ? Woow. Really liked your cad of the maze garden layout. Thanks for the morning coffee...
That's pretty cool, Dale! Do you think you might install that giant Farris Wheel of gears on your outdoor layout too? Even an elevator track section would be cool!! I saw one used on the side of a hillside at Washington State's Rossi Dam!!!
I like simple. I like building structures and rolling stock. So just a track that goes from inside to outside is all I’m after anymore. I need to finish that. I’m missing about 12 feet of track inside and about 25 feet of benchwork and 50 feet of track outside. And at that point just build stuff to run on it. 😊😊😊🚀🚀🚂
Fascinating. I bet that the daytime terrors really play havoc with your railroad. Just wondering. With the houses in the rain and snow, do you wind up painting them every so often?
Not to toss a monkey wrench into the mix, but the garden railroad convention is next year in Sacramento, there will be layout tours to a few outdoor railroads. That will definitely stimulate the plan ideas
Well, it mostly involves screwing around. Doing maintenance on rental units for a management company, making railings for houses at an ironwork. When I finish college, I went to work in broadcast television. About 10 years of that. There’s a few shows on the channel about that. Search for Grizzly Adams and see what comes up. I got a graduate degree and started teaching. Taught at three different universities. I’ll still do television, then I was sort of forced to take an early retirement started a RUclips channel. Karyn had a RUclips channel. I’m so that’s how we met and got married and I suppose the rest is also history?

Hi!! 😊😊

Generally no. They are mostly bare plastic. Some paint. The biggest issue is anything wood. Lots of repair.
@@ToyManTelevision Thank you.

See if you can go all the way back to the very, very first show and it sort of explains it.
