I wish that you had shown how the bridge rolls up and that giant Farris Wheel of gears actually moved an entire train from level to another level!! That Wheel is INCREDIBLE!!!
......and all these years I've been thinking the Falkirk Wheel was the most spectacular lifting device ever made! Ha! Thanks for sharing all this fun. I'm getting spoiled rotten expecting another cool video from you every Sunday.🙂
Falkirk Wheel immediately jumped into my head when I saw that impressive contraption they had built too! I bet the finished article could be modelled into some impressive steampunk machine too, the giant gearwheels already look appropriate!
The first layouts background seamlessly melded into the trains landscape. I didn't know where one started or ended. Absolutely amazing! Never seen such a beautiful layout. Those are some electronic geniuses on that carousel layout.
What a great video of some awesome layouts. That second one with all the automated stuff gave me some ideas thanks. Looking forward to more next Sunday. See you Tuesday. GOD BLESS 🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕
Nice job filming model trains at the model railroad Club Toy man television keep it up and you guys be safe out there while you’re going on your trips please
The first one is very much my style. I love to play with trains. just having them run around in circles is not fun. My dream layout would be a full rail yard. The second one gives off toy trainset vibes. Very fun but no sense of accuracy although it does give me an idea. I thought of a nice display cabinet with trains on display. Then with a push of a button you could move the trains into position to drive onto the layout. It'll be the best!
@@Zankoran agreed!! I love to see toy train modelers and layouts. Not OUR STYLE. But fun and we love seeing it done. And actually running the train is best. Whistle off. Slowly start forward with the cocks open and the bell ringing. Close the cocks. Stop the bell. Whistle for the crossings. Stop at the next stop. Single blast from the whistle. Da best.
The earthy colors used on the 1st railroad (M. David Merrill) are beautiful. I spotted a wooden grain elevator at 3:49 in the background, a classic "prairie cathedral" style that used to dot the Great Plains, but now are an endangered species. The big steel grain bins that replaced the wood elevators as far less picturesque. Hope you have some closer shots of the wood grain elevator to show later? +1
@@garyjones9023 amazing right? We just love this layout. Sadly only about half still operates and David can’t get under it to repair stuff. Perhaps a younger person would like to try it. Several of his friends might be able to… but I don’t think he wants anyone messing with his railroad. And I get that. Anyway he loves switching the part that works. And keeping the rest looking great.
Greetings Dave Merrill. Good to see him. Hi from Ranger Rob (If Dave see's this). One of my favorite people. :)
