There is a specific trim molding called a corner bead that should be used on the inside corners to create a water tight seal. It looks like you are using an end cap in the corner.

Nice brother! We use this in affordable housing rental showers. Definitely waterproof and worth the 25 bucks a sheet!

How is it holding up? When I read the adhesive manufacturer’s install sheets it states that one of the surfaces needs to be porous. They do not consider a painted surface nor moisture/mold resistant drywall as porous. They state you need a solvent based frp adhesive.

If you have a painted surface just sand it rough

Could you put the glue on the wall rather than the board? Also, could you fit the corner trim on the board before you hang it?

Can you paint FRP? Which paint would be best?

How about using a laminate roller to squeeze out the air bubbles? Can you clean (wipe down ) the backside with Acetone? Or did you just blow off the dust and wipe with a damp cloth? Im looking to build a cargo trailer shower with the FRP

As I understand it, acetone would be used for cleanup. A pressure roller might be very effective, but I'd be careful not to transfer any discoloration (if for example the roller is made of rubber) to the FRP. I used a vacuum to both clean and blow off particles, and I wiped down the (existing) wall area with a lightly damp cloth before cutting the material, allowing time for the wall to completely dry. I wish you luck and success on your shower install, let me know how it turns out.
