- What is the BEST GTA game?
As most already know, I am a manchild who loves collecting/playing Nintendo games. Something most don't know is I am also a massive fan of the GTA franchise and have been playing them for years. Today, I wanted to discuss that time both of my favorite things came together to create one of the most underrated games on the Nintendo DS!

Chinatown Wars was always funny to me for hyping Ling Shan on the boxart and promotinal art as an actual character who actually does have a personality and then they kill her in like the first 30 minutes.

Real in ds not bad but in psp is the goat this graphics vibes gta 4 but in portable is very good gameplay and story

It does keep with the trend of having a lady on the box art with little narrative significance in the series.
I remember telling my classmates that I owned GTA on DS, they wouldn't believe me.
I played this game back on my iPod 4 when that was the new thing. Never was a huge GTA fan, but CTW was pretty fun.
Chinatown wars is underrated but I do prefer the psp version over the other 2

I knew about it when it came out but I was a psp fan and I never thought very highly of the DS. I thought it was for kids and it had terrible graphics. I did get it for the PSP. 10 years later, I gave the DS version a try and was impressed by how nice it felt to play. The low poly visuals gave the game character. The pacing and controls I thought were better than the PSP version.
I’m playing it on my iPhone.. game is/was nice. Already beatin it once. Being able to play in topdown perspective in HD version of LC is quite unique

Played this game while i was 6 /7 for the first time. I enjoyed just driving around and explore the map, thats all i did (besides running People over and using the chainsaw on People😅). Just picked up a ds and a copy off chinetown wars to replay it and man i love this game. The story is decent, love the comicbook concept and all the other stuff you can do like dealing the za and stuff. Still playing it today!
comic slideshow cutscenes just feel too low budget. so cringy when console games do it

I was 8 when GTA III came out in 2001. The first 3d GTA. Back in the day, parents really didn't give af what you played as long as your grades were good and didn't get your ass on trouble lol.
You have no idea how it literally changed the game. There would be no open world games in the way people know them now without the open ended experience GTA 3 gave.

GTA Chinatown Wars such a underated game but i think the definitive for Chinatown Wars is the PSP version yeah it's still have the mini game touch screen but now you using a button for the PSP and has some exclusive mission only on PSP

Ok, I'm not far into the video yet. I don't know if you said it somewhere in the video, but what do you think of the PSP/Mobile versions? Better? Worse? Makes sense for the systen?
never really got much into those versions of the game so I left them out of the video. definitely will check them out though!

Its my favorite in the series. I have more hours on this then GTA 4 and 5 combine, i think the top down view is an underrated perspective as well

I had a ds and then an Xbox so I had gta ctw and gta 4 I loved it I felt great about myself being 9 I would have to convince my mom and dad to get them my sister was pissed idk why
i been playing this on the psp emulator and i really want a switch port of that version

This game was better on PSP. I still can not understand why there are not more smartphone games like this. The 3D (yes i know Chinatown Wars its self is one) GTA games and clones just suck.
