- The Smackdown vs Raw series was an iconic series in the mid to late 2000s. The series first started as a PlayStation exclusive and then branched out to all the consoles you could possibly imagine. Xbox, Wii, PSP and of course. the Nintendo DS. Just the idea of a WWE game on the Nintendo DS was so crazy, but it was real. For 3 straight years there was a WWE SVR game for the Nintendo DS. So why not go back in time and see how these games were? Lets go back and take a look at SVR 08, 09 AND 10.. On the Nintendo DS.

I remember playing 2010 on my DS, back in the day. I was legitimately playing it for hours everyday... until I lost it. I recently bought it again and played through it, and it is still as good as I remember.

Same. I remember asking my dad to buy a copy of the DS version of SVR 2010 for me when we were at a flea market a decade ago. I beat the story mode twice when I was a kid.
I still have my original copies that I got when 09 and 10 first came out 09 I might never play again but every now and then I might play 2010 I love that game on all consoles

My lil sister was a nintendo DS kid and I remember she got this lil thing that had like 100+ games in one and I remember she read the list and told me she saw a WWE game, me being mind blown I had no idea there were WWE games for the DS so it happened to be SVR 2010 and I was so hooked on it I remember her being mad that I was up all night hogging her DS lol

I played svr 2010 and 2008 on DS and to be honest, the graphics didn't bother me at all. Svr 2010 and 2008 are two of my favourite WWE games.

@@sharukhkhan9242 There were some games on the ds that are better than games released today, like GTA Chinatown Wars which we'll probably never get another top down GTA game again, a port of Chrono Trigger which is better than just about any modern rpg, Elite Beat Agents which was super fun, Kirby Canvas Curse which was super fun, puls you could play every great gameboy advance game (which included ports of of classic snes games). You could probably get more classics on the ds than on the Switch
I played both SVR 2010 and TNA Impact Cross The Line on the DS when I was younger. Both games were so much fun! I'm glad I never had to deal with the pain and stress of '08 and '09.
I had svr 08 for ds and I hated it, it was so bad I would sneak and play brothers psp when it was literally the same game

Have you still got your PSP? I suggest modding it and getting a memory stick to micro SD adapter. You can just install the games onto the card and never have to worry about the UMD. Load times are faster as well
You can also get adapters that let you put 2 micro SD cards into the PSP

Dude, buy the DSi XL, it’s the best way to play DS and Gameboy Advance games. The screen is the biggest and it’s the way games were meant to be played. And you can mod it too

Okay so I’m one of these kids. Before hitting play, I can say I remember 08 sucked so much yet I tried to make the best of it. 09 was a massive improvement and had a good time with my created character in story mode. 10 I never played. Thanks for posting a video for us weirdos man. Stay well!

I was one of those victims that bought SvR 2008 for my DS Phat. Honestly wished I developed a sense of reading reviews as a kid because I as well got swindled in thinking that it would be the same graphics you would see from the commercials.

Hey Nintendo DS WWE SVR player here, I can safely say I have the most hours on SVR 2010 on planet earth. So much fun, made up 100% of my childhood.

when i was 5 , i got a ds and raw vs smackdown 2010 for my ds on christmas . i spent so much time playing it and i loved it so much , countless hours of fun
these were my games growing up man i loved them nintendo ds was my first handheld and those wwe games weren't great looking back at them but for me as a 10-12 year old they were the best thing ever i had all 3 of them and of course they were much better on my ps2 but for my ds they were amazing i played the hell out of the season modes on them

SvR 2009 on Java Mobile is the only versiom of SvR 2009 where you can get weapons under the ring in the Hell In A Cell match.
I was that kid my dad bought me this game because he knew I was a wrestling fan and man I was mad later on that year I got a 360 and I never went back to that game I did pick it up 09 and 2010 down the line and 09 is ok but in my opinion 2010 is the best one

I literally grew up and created so many memories with all these games, back then the ds was a big flex, gameplay wasn’t even an issue at the time but it definitely got better each game, I wish I could go back ahhhhh better times
I actually really liked SvR 2008 on the DS after being initially disappointed. I had it on PS2 first, but I still found myself restarting the season mode a million times on this game because I didn't hate it lol.
It's decently hard too. It actually took me a while to figure out how to even do a Finisher. I started off winning by submissions because that's all I knew how to do 😂
i pretty much used SVR 2010 to listen to the entrance themes all the time as a kid in the create mode
The wwe games on psp were the exact same as the console version but there was a few changes to it like there's no announcement tables and the annoying music that plays during the match but the Nintendo version was abit weird for me because it was the first few wwe games that I got as a kid and I wasn't allowed to play them on console because my parents were kinda stricted with it and I was young to use it so I ended up getting used to play them on the Nintendo version before the psp and consoles.
I find it hard to believe you knew more than one other person with a PSP.

Me and my friends in schooling days played Wrestling Revolution 3D on our mobile phones and it looked better that this😋, good old days.
It is the most fun game I grew up with, along with Clash of Clans.
I never got into Clash of Clans but it was a huge game!! good old times.

WR3D is broken during Hardcore Matches because referee is going around and when I'm prinning my opponent the referee doesn't go in and do the count.

Funny I was that kid who had WWE on the DS. SvR 08 was the first and last time I played it on the ds. I had the ps2 port but I wanted something on the go. I was able to do subs easily tho. I didnt know tho

Yo I had the 2010 ROM for the DS and it still amuses me to this day how *good* the game actually is for a DS game! It even had local multiplayer! (It would glitch at times albeit rarely). The 1 player campaign mode was actually good too! I remember making a masked Kane for that mode! 😂

When I was a kid I actually liked the first SVR on the ds .. They did have good story lines and with some wrestlers you could be multiple championships

I owned all three and I actually enjoyed them all. It took me legit years to figure out ‘08. But once I did it became enjoyable and I was having back and forth matches that were legit good. ‘09 was a step in the right direction but ‘10 was god tier. The season was the best out of all 3

Eh, I'd argue even '10 isn't that good. It barely has the essentials, and that's it. Matches proceed the same, there's no greater stratedies beyond just pressing buttons so matches get repetitive after a while

i had svr 2010 on the DS; i got it for my 8th birthday in October of that year. lots of great memories playing that game on that console
I'm 43, have a DSi XL and just bought 2010 today. Sure I could play on something newer, but I'm at that age where I don't care if I have the latest and greatest. I understand why my father who is in his 60s still plays his solitaire games on his DS wherever he goes. If its fun, its fun!
