Sorry bud, Spinosaurus is bipedal. It if tried to knuckle walk, the bones connecting to its shoulders would decapitate the animal.

I am extremely hyped hyped hyped for the new map! I personally have been lingering around when it came to the news as it was all scattered throughout my Discord communities, but when it all comes out at once in a video like Anth's, my excitement SPIKED!
The Spinosaurus is great, especially the tail. I saw that the top of the tail had a slight hint of a fin, which is a great idea. You've also thickened the tail, another great idea as the current swimming animation of the Sucho and Hyper Spino the tail is used a lot. It looks a lot more suited for the future of The Isle and I am looking forward to it all.

@@praisetogaming8828 Why? All fours is actually less accurate than bipedal. It's already been determined that spinosaurus' forelimbs were unsuited to any kind of quadrupedal movement.

That other island to the right is like endless grassland. It honestly looks like herbie paradise tbh, with lots of open fields and grass for grazing, lakes, natural barriers, etc.
I love this new spino model. Looks actually as terrifying and tough as a spino would/should be. Nice streamlines down the side and tapered tail that shows that it's an amphibious BEAST. I'm sure they'll update the hypo spino now as well to make it even more terrifying!
Stylized and accurate at the same time!
Spino wasn’t very tough in real life. It was very big and terrifying looking though. But wasn’t strong due to it eating fish. It would usually avoid other dinosaurs (to my knowledge)
@@ryleedonohue492 Sort of, but it's arms and weight really help. Biteforce of the Spinosaurus was not that powerful though, not compared to Rex at least. Spino I do believe would have a chance against other Apex predators, but on land it would be vulnerable. If a Rex and a Spinosaurus were to fight on land, I'd have to say the rex would win 60 - 70% of the time, but with critical injuries. Rex had a much stronger biteforce, but the Spino was larger and heavier. Near water, the tides of battle would change, however (No pun intended). But besides that, I do agree that Spinosaurus was more solitary and stuck to waters for fish and did not often hunt things on land due to its strength. The isle is trying to balance Apex though, to give the game a ladder of strength.
Spino = Weight + Semi-Aquatic
Giga = Bleed + Speed
Rex = Damage + Bone-break.

Spinosaurus most likely went after anything that was smaller than it. It would have avoided other big predators if it could, and other big predators would have avoided it if they could, because a tussle between them would have rarely been beneficial even for the winner.

I dont think players should be hypos because then hypos would be common and boring whereas now when you see a hypo you shit yourself then never see them again

This is THE only game I play anymore since it has won me over in terms of how the developers are committed to creating a detailed world for me and others to slaughter eachother in. In regards to the spino, it's my favorite dinosaur ever and PLEASE bring it to the game. Keep up the fantastic work you guys.

Anth should be leader if the conspiracy army. I think that Anth is absolutely right about everything that was featured. I like the way the spino is, but it does have a lot of hypo feel for me, so maybe a little less of if the side texture, but still keep some of it. Idk how to explain. I also like the stego animation and the islands are a beaut. That's my feedback, but it might be updated later

@@tau6660 here's advice for the Isle Devs: just make the hypos Limited so that you can only play them on Black Friday or something. or better idea: don't even have the hypos in the first place.

The Spino's legs are WAY too long, and the neck is a little too short. The spines look off too, although to be fair, the exact shape of Spinosaurus' spines are unknown, so they probably could get away with that. The skull looks too short aswell, I would definitely make it longer. The torso might be a tad to short, but I do agree that the spino needs to be fleshed out more, but Spinosaurus didn't have a big, tanky build. if all they do is shorten the legs, that would be fine.
wow I'm sure every 6 year old is impressed by your knowledge of spinosaurus. Too bad that you can't read and didn't know that this game isn't supposed to be realistic.

@@Deform-2024Not an excuse it is just a fact. Just because some of the dinosaur models are accurate doesn't mean that is what they are going for, as the devs have stated multiple times that it isn't. Are you going to complain that the hypo models are unrealistic too? Also our understanding or dinosaurs changes day by day. Rex was scaly then feather then scaly. I think you get my point.
@@account8291 Of course some of the dinosaur aren't accurate, but not all of the animals are meant to be like the Hypers now are they. There is nothing wrong with adding accuracy to the dinosaurs. Besides, that design doesn't fit the semiaquatic Spinosaurus anyway, especially when aquatic environments are eventually added. If you don't want them to be accurate, at least have them suited for their environment.
The new Spino feels like a Spino in "The Isle" should look like. I've had multiple discussions with people on discord about it, saying "it needs to have shorter legs, it's not realistic", but honestly, while the game does its best, it's not a "simulator". It's a survival/open-world experience with horror influences. When I think of a Spino in The Isle, this is the kind of monster I'm looking for: Big, intimidating, and overall, something that will make you shit your pants when it comes around the corner. I feel like this guy will be able to contend, if not, take down, the Deino when it comes out. Big props to the dev team!

Love that they are working hard on herbs! Possibility of water based Dino’s and a map catered to flyers so excited! A re work for the spino is definitely due and I think the concept art is very appropriate for the logic of how some Dino’s are supposed to turn into hypos. All and all, everything looks very promising, appropriate, and fantastic!

I'd also agree that ' Hope' islands/map is pointing towards fliers and aquatics with just the details alone. I'm also so glad they've fixed the odd...bent animation of the Stego's tail.

The Spino is good. My main issue with it is that it looks a bit too hypo (maybe that’s what they wanted) but for a normal creature I would prefer it a bit toned down - similar to the sucho. Maybe that’s just my personal preference

Yup! It's way too muscular and the head looks too much like a sucho. But at the same time I don't think they are going for realism anyway (example: non-feathered raptors)
@@dinoPharaoh If we can go for realism, why not do it? Feathers on raptors is not something easy they can do.
i absolutely agree about the spino's modal compared to the Hypo because the hypo has that little curve at the top of its fin and the spino now just has a normal fin, the isle is awesome i love it and gives it more depth of what the developers are going to give you or they just like to make you assume things XD, and then the stego i absolutely love it, especially the grazing part it gives more detail into the herbivores!
I like the model for the spino. I love the way it looks when it swims through the water plus the details put through the sides. The only thing I would add is a longer snoot and a bit more rigged spine. Other than that is fine. Good job developers!

Happy to see the stego and spino being worked on. It'll be great in game. I'm not sure how big the gap is between islands in the new map, but I suggest maybe have small "pit stop" islands along the way for land dinos to catch their breath. Doesn't mean a mosa can't rush quickly over the sand and snatch up a resting land critter. Orcas are amazing at this.

Oh my god yesssssss!!!! New spino! The accuracy! You may think this is an overreaction, but it actually looks cooler than its previous iteration. I'm such a nerd for good dino detail, and the spino is my favourite dinosaur for so many reasons. Love the vids, keep it up, man!

@@batspidey7611, is there evidence of lips covering the rex's teeth? I know there is for it having feathers, but I've never heard of that. I would love to see for myself where you got the evidence from so I can make my own dinosaur drawings more accurate if it does, indeed, have lips.
I watched a Ben G Thomas video called The Most Accurate T.rex Ever Reconstructed? and one part of it stated that the holes on top of the Rex’s teeth are evidence that there should be lips covering the teeth.

I seriously love the new Spino model. The new stego animations are beautiful also, but I feel like there is almost a slight pause in it's sprint animation. It is probably intentional, but it does make it look a little wonky. And yes, I saw that Hypo utah when scrolling through the instagram, I love it so so so so so so SO much. Also, devs, if yours reading this, I really want to see bright colors on hypos in the future, not much, just maybe around the eyes and maybe on the spines they have. But imagine seeing a hypo and it has a bright orange on a dark body, that'd be so beautiful.

Deform 2018 yeah the stats on the spino are incredibly broken example it can face tank a full grown Rex, an Anky Tail, a full grown trike stomp, and it’s bleed damage is more broken then dilos on release
The Spino concept art is utterly amazing, I'd absolutely love to see this version in the game . The fin looks more natural rather than the current model's fin, the jaw also reminds me of the Bary which makes sense since both the Bary and Spino are related to each other unlike the older model which is too much like the Rex. This newer Spino looks more intimidating and fitting for when it mutates into the Hypo Spino and the legs are so much better looking with this version rather than the original.
For the spino, i really think the snouth needs to be a bit more slender and a bit longer
I think the snout should be longer ,its good its snout is wider because it has to hunt herbivores and with a slender snout it would be very weak.
Spino facial structure is more accurate on the one labeled B, on the right. Personally, it needs to have that noticeable notch in the top jaw for it to scream Spino.
Stego looks amazing. Very fluid. Only thing that looks a pinch off is the hip socket popping when it's walking.

That Spino is simply amazing. The isle is a horror game. Every dinosaur you play with have a reason to be scared. To a mouse, a cat is a monster.

I truly hope that the new map comes really soon. I'd love to explore a new one. The stego and spino rework looks amazing. I'm still new to the Isle so I don't know what to expect for timeframes on when new content gets released. Hopefully not too long. I'm really excited to see what the future holds for this game 💜
I would actually like to see more of the human part of the game, sure I love the dinos but some news about it how they will combine it with the Dino world and what they are aiming for 👍

Okay this is honestly a lot to take in, I love the Spinos model, it looks so much more badass than the one we have now, it really appears as more of a threat. The stego model is beautiful, as a herbivore player I was freaking out about the grazing animation, it made me think about what could come to the game, any herbivore could just eat grass, but that would be too easy maybe, so what if there was a wider variety in terrain? While I didn’t have the Isle in the beginning, I believe there was a more desert type area? Map wise, i completely agree with Anth, the map really opens up so much more opportunity towards aquatics and flyers, which I adore the concept of, as I really crave a new dinosaur, I’m particularly excited for the pteranodon. In one video of anthomnias I believe he showed a clip of the ptera’a eating animation, and it looked like it was eating fish somehow which he also mentioned in the video, which leads me to believe aquatics are even more likely, as they would need underwater AI, which the pteranodons would have access to probably dive in for fish. And for the new updated “system” for the game has me very very excited as well, in one clip of Anths video Dondi talks about how he loves how it works now, listing multiple different mechanics such as hunger, leg break, damage, etc. (That’s not word for word btw), and I also am very excited to see how body/corpse dragging would function, it would probably leave blood trails that could be smelled, and I wonder if they would drag the whole body itself or be able to take chunks like a leg off? Anyways, that’s my overall thoughts on it, and I am so so so excited to see where this goes, I only wish it could come faster! If the devs read this, I love what your doing, and it honestly makes me want to do work like this, so good luck with everything that’s being worked on! Thank you!
Wouldn't mind if they released a promised, and why I bought the game, creature, the "flying creature" before continuing work on anything else. To difficult I suppose.

The map is super interesting and I feel it's made for flying dinos and aquatic ones as well. I think they made it possible to get to other islands so that the aquatic animals can hunt.
I also love the stego! Although the plate on it's right should during walking looks really floppy, like more than the ones on the neck

This Spino concept looks unbelieveable GOOD. I'm the biggest Spino fan and I'm sad that I couldn't play it for month/years, because It's not in the Survival Mode, BUT hey developer team I usually dont write RUclips comments, BUT THIS IS A MUST TO HAVE IN THE ISLE! THIS NEW SPINO CONCEPT IS BRILLIANT. I may agree with the others, the head could be a bit longer, but thats complain at high level. Please Dondi I WANT ... I mean WE WANT THAT SPINO :P

I adore this new spino concept! Seems much more fitting to how it was thought to look in real life, and much more fitting of an aquatic dino of its bulk and size! I've always felt the current spino was a bit thin and more intended for land rather than water, but this new concept looks like a swimming machine! Also, better fits and makes sense for the spinos tanky nature if it were a bit more water build; I feel though with this new model on land speed should be a tad slower then on its current model while water speed is increased from what it currently is.

I like the new design to the spineo, I like how the tail is more wide like a crocs tail because they did swim a lot to watch prey. The new island looks awesome!! Good for land dinosaurs and maybe aquatic dinosaurs too. The isle team is doing an amazing job!!!
