  • I've been lucky to get this Hafco 10" table saw donated to the channel. In this video I will be making some 3D printable parts to help fix a couple of issues as the replacements are no longer available.

There is little more satisfying than designing and printing a functional part. Top job! Subbed! Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺

I will never use a table saw for safety reasons and im more hand tools. Stopped by to show love for 3d prints being incorporated in a legendary profession

Respect. Hand tools are an area id like to get better in.

    Few suggestions,
If fusion has the ability to overlay an image, you could scan the sketch of the profile you traced from the fence and import and scale it accordingly. Then create your part sketch from that so you don't have to create as many test prints to get a good fit.
Do away with the music in the video if you are going to talk because it makes it hard to hear/understand what you are saying.
Looks way better than the plywood handle for sure! Well done!

Thanks very much. I’ve tried the image as a canvas idea once but I agree this was an ideal time to use it. I appreciate your thoughts on the music too. Feedback helps me to get better.

The grey cover looks better anyway... But you're mad if you think fillets > chamfers 😂

Colour me mad🤣but the humble fillet is very handy, saves material, adds strength and often reduces the need for support material. I’d better order some yellow, for safety of course.

If only I could replace my entire Craftsman 113 fence with a 3D print :-).

In Australia it’s called Tecor. It’s from a store called inkstation. I’ve been buying it for a few years as it’s been consistently good and I often get it on sale.

interesting but drop the background soundtrack - so unnecessary and intrusive
