Gday there I'm Jim. I live in regional downunder and I love to make things and to learn to fix things too. I like woodworking, 3D printing, electronics, sci fi prop building, model making, radio control and household DIY. I am an amateur and want to show that anyone can learn to make and fix stuff. Maverick ION RX Driveshaft Replacement Upgrade DIY easy fix
I bought a Maverick ION RX on holiday only to find it was broken. I contacted the shop and they will only help if I send it back (thats half the price of the car each way!). So I've bought the parts and I'll fix it in realtime.
As I found there are no guides for this repair on RUclips I thought I'd film it in case it helps someone else.
Repair startes around 1:50 with an important note.
Reassembly commences around 14:30

A bit late, but Jaws's bag is red? Ive always thought it was orange! Unless i misheard you. Still... The camera probably made it look orange, but some shots of the movie, it looked red. Im confused
The bag has a cover that was made by the production crew. It has elastic at the base to slip over the genuine bag.

I'm a DeWalt guy but have a few ozito tools. The little hedge trimmer has punched well above it's weight, take a bit longer but gas done dome major hedges and still going strong.
I still like the mower but I’m now too shy to buy anymore Ozito as Bunnings is too far away (400km).

Hobbies Australia as the Distributor should replace it under warranty.
Thanks, they “directed” me to the store who asked me to bring it in. I’ve just decided to wear the driveshaft cost. I’m only disappointed as I’d recommended using this store to other regional customers. Now I feel I’ve led them astray.

I sold this saw to upgrade, but I recently spoke to the owner who says he uses it a lot on site. It has a makita cordless router permanently fixed to it. I however, am router tableless again. Bring on the warm weather downunder and I’ll be making another one.

You seem to have missed the instructions in the manual that explains the adjustment for nail depth. Look for the dial as depicted in your instructions. I used mine today and the adjustment worked great.
Adjusting it to the left sinks the nail even less.
I have many sprout up in my bedroom after a few weeks cladding 😅
