    hi mate so i broke the wire on the loom side of the knock sensor..
    do i literaly just solder the wire back together
    what about this sheath what do i do with that
    as i have warning light coming on and off knock sensor bank 1 high voltage or somthing

      the sheath wraps around the outside of the first plastic wire don’t connect that on the connector wire. If you look at the video gone up to 16:51 you will see how the wire is it’s under the blue part of the wire. Is your wire chopped from the blue part or further up from the connector?

      I got to be honest I never saw the blue part .. the wire snapped very close to the connecter plug . so I just soldered a longer wire ( think it was speaker wire ) bel wire soldered the pin to the new wire and put it back in ...was OK for a day or so and then I'm having cel light come on and off constantly

      I'm wondering if I've stretched and snapped it somewhere along that wire .
      I have ordered a new sensor but I'm almost sure it's along the wire somewhere

      @@jackclarke7584 sorry really busy in the workshop yesterday and today but
      what year is the car iIs it same as mine all so if it’s soldered close from the connector it should be ok you said it’s high import in the message measure the voltage it should normally be less then 4.5 volt or less if it’s more then 5 volts it might have a bad earth issue.
