This is kind of maynards last chapter about his mother. He scattered her ashes in his vineyard. And the wind (dust devils) carrying her ‘away’. Really powerful way to capture his coming to terms.
Conditions of my Parole is one of my all time favorite albums. It really is a shame people sleep on Puscifer compared to Tool and APC. And Horizons is one of the most beautiful tracks Maynard has sung.
This is his sort of last goodbye to his mother. It’s a beautiful epic way to send her off. I love Maynard so much. He is so unique and captures your emotions so much with each song.
Carina Round is worth her own reaction; her solo work is highly underrated. The offer of being the first of the bigger channels to give her a spotlight is still open. She's so much like Maynard that even Maynard acknowledged it in an interview in the most Maynard way possible: "Our buttholes are of a similar circumference". In her early days she was raw like early tool, and now she's evolved into a more emotive story telling vibe, also like tool.
God I love this band. By the way Puscifer have many many more gems of songs like this that are totally unique and amazing. Great reaction Geebz, I'm still here!
I absolutely love that video and being able to see all the members showcase their skill set. That video and remix do something to my soul every time I listen.
Aloha! Puscifer is going on tour again very soon. Looks like most of it is Europe but I digress... MJK and Carina are healthy and want to get back out on the road. Also, if you haven't ever covered it I cannot recommend Potions by Puscifer enough. Edit: I'm still here. O7.
Your eyes while you were listening to that were great to watch! That photo of Maynard belies that voice...and I'm still here. I'm a gamer, so I'm going to check out your Twitch.
@@senseicorey9979 went back to OG to listen again. as much as I enjoy the electronic sounds I actually would go back to remix more often. Early Puscifer is fun but at times not fully there and fleshed out I think. I think Puscifer, like tool, and even APC get better. I hate comparing albums and songs. Or at least stating what is better as it’s clearly subjective.
Good morning Geebz! I feel like you would really enjoy the song humbling river by puscifer. It's a little unconventional as far as puscifer songs go. It has more of a folk rock feel to me and has less of an electronic element. But boy is it a powerful tune!
Pleasantly, I was going to pull up my Puscifer Playlist -- when I saw your Reaction... This is my favorite "melancholy" vibe song ...between Maynard's voice and Matt's sound landscape, I likey 🥹
As a musician, and somebody that has played and loved metal music for over 30 years, I enjoy your reactions a lot! I havta say tho, the one thing I don't like about all these reaction channels, there is NEVER a single negative reaction. Everybody always acts like they like everything they hear. That's gotta be statistically impossible right? It would be soooo refreshing to just hear, once in awhile, an honest opinion on a song that is disliked. Like I love mannard, and many Pucifer songs. But this is a very boring song. And most kids today with a little software can make this in there bedrooms, and do! I know I might get some hate for this comment but it's just my opinion.
I'm still here 😉 And still bummed you haven't listened to "Man Overboard", which is the track _just after_ this one! 😋 _(this originally was posted on the wrong video... because... YT is broken lol)_
"We've been, we've been trying something a little different this tour. We've been looking at one of our songs, from a different angle, under a different light. So we can hopefully kind of see it almost for the first time. We'd like to try that for you tonight, is that okay?"
Very nice video, awesome reaction. I do have a recommendation for you Geebz. Do you think you could do a reaction on Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (live in kiev). I'm 100% you'll enjoy it. Have a great day!
GEEBZ!!!!!!!!! i've been loving your videos since the beginning of last year, i'd love to hear your thoughts on ERRA! anything off of their self titled album would be incredible. i especially like "snowblood' 'gungrave' and 'electric twilight'. really really good stuff.
Hey I would like to recommend some Ayreon for you to decompose. I think you will get a kick out of their production, very much a mystical and groovy space and fantasy opera. Some top picks from me; Charm of the Seer, Amazing Flight, Back on Planet Earth, River of Time.
I would love to see you breaking down "Ariah Being" from Kiev.. I really like Perfect Circle (and other metals like Porcupine Tree, QOSA, Tool, Radio Moscow, Rival Sons... big spectrum here)... This band and All Them Witches, for example, are two of "new" projects I am enjoying a lot to listen now a days! And Ariah Being from Kiev is a song that I admire from the group. It was my opening door to them, cool thing overall!
Still here Geebz. More Puscifer and maybe more A Perfect Circle too? Almost everything on (this album) Conditions of My Parole, or the next album Money Shot are amazing. You aren't totally out of TOOL songs either, you know? Just sayin...
Great tune. I actually prefer the documentary live performance video that has real drum play and stronger Carina Round harmonies. I'm looking forward to seeing them in May here in Rochester.
Us small surf guys really benefit from the other guys getting blown out surfing long periods of swell lol. I’ll surf the chest high leftovers while they recover

There are a lot of dust devils on the mesa that Jerome sits on. They whip up easily because there are not a lot of larger trees to wind break.
Beautiful farewell
Actually, in an interview Carina asked him if it was about his mother and he said no.
@@crazeddemon420 Maynard never gives a straight answer
This entire album is killer
I feel that way about the last 3 albums. V is my least fav but was still my first Pus album... Loved the Remix live stream though.
Conditions of my Parole is one of my all time favorite albums. It really is a shame people sleep on Puscifer compared to Tool and APC.

They just did alot of rerecordings of a bunch of albums with Corina Round and their rendition of mama sed is fantastic.

Do "Potions" or "Green Valley" by Puscifer next!
This song is about grief and grappling with the void left. "What's left of you is ash and urn and this silent horizon."
One detail that I love on this song is the surprise combination of nylon acoustic guitar with the electronic beat.
The color of the album cover, the lava lamp and the clothes you’re wearing are close to matching. Just wanted to point that out; nice harmony.
Well there's always 2023 Geebz. Awwwright 🤙.
Aloha from pearl city geebz!! Check out the humbling river by puscifer!

I highly recommend Indigo Children from V is versatile. Especially the video they are in studio

“Ash and urn and silence”

I had the honor of seeing Puscifer live and they played this entire album from beginning to end. that was the concert. So amazing.
You're wonderful, Geebz!
I love this one. Please react to The Humbling River als well 🙏☺☺
check out "Polar Bear" by Puscifer. Deeply underrated
It’s winter time. Those waves on the north shore were always 10’-12’. ❤️❤️

I'm pretty sure Geebz did a reaction video on Potions already. i love that song.
This is my favorite Pucifer album by far, and one of my favorite Maynard albums overall. My two favorite songs are The Weaver and Overboard
They have a album that is all from a live show. It's call What Is... There is actually a DVD as well to watch. Maynard and Carina live are tremendous
This track gives me goosebumps. Whole album is amazing and the live What If performance is phenomenal.
That album gets better the more you listen
It is probably my favorite Puscifer album.
I actually nearly forgot about this song - it's been a while since I listened to any of the earlier Puscifer stuff. Thanks for sharing, brah!

Conditions of My Parole is a fantastic album to listen to front to back!
Thank you for picking one of my songs! Love the content as always! Much love Geebz!
“Indigo children” by Puscifer just had a remix where they are in the studio jamming on video and it’s great. Highly recommend if you enjoyed this.
