This is exactly right... I also see it as a band that has a lil something for everyone's musical taste. From heavier rock to soft rock to even some kind of retro wavy sort of style
You two need to check out the live studio version of Indigo Children by Puscifer next. I think you will appreciate it both lyrically and vocally but also musically from your own bands perspective. I’ve included the link below… The thing about Puscifer is that they do ALL the genres with their own spin, similar to Tool they can’t easily be classified, only awed over. ruclips.net/video/INbtbooYmaQ/видео.htmlsi=6aGiKKAQMcBdyp-K

I journeyed with you through the Tool discography. It was a blast to do so. I would also like to see a reaction to Conditions of my Parole, or anything from the 13th Step by APC. Once Maynard gets you, all his projects are gems. Probably the only artist that I personally, LOVE everything. There isn’t any others that can pull me in like Good Ol’ MJK n Company.
There's 3 voices in this track actually. Maynard is one of them, his son is another of the voices and I can't remember who's the female voice (spoiler alert it's not Carina Round). This project has many different phases and a pretty vast soundscape. To better understand what I'm talking about just check the 3 different versions of the song "Momma Sed". They're absolutely worth a joint reaction so I'll link them below. Another fact is that by their 2nd album ("Conditions of My Parole") Carina Round started to collaborate with the band regularly but she only became a full time member of the band by their third album ("Money Shot") becoming a co-vocalist alonside Maynard (none of them likes being called "lead singer"), so bear in mind that prior to the third album there's a fair chance that the female voices you'll hear is not being performed by Carina. I think you'll both really enjoy Puscifer and I think that from the little I heard from your music I'm pretty sure they'll soon become a strong influence. Lots of good info here, you obviously are a big fan of Puscifer as am I but, if I’m not mistaken, Carina joined as a touring member of the band in 2009 and also was performing her solo material as the opening act for Puscifer at that time. Based on that timeline I believe it is Carina singing on The Humbling River, which was released on the 2009 EP “C is For…” and it sure sounds like her. She was an official member by the time Conditions of My Parole was being recorded. Carina has writing credits on the majority of the songs on the album and sings on all of the songs on the album. Hope you don’t take this as me nit picking your comment, no offense intended. The only thing that really matters is that Maynard and Carina crossed paths because she is such a huge part of what makes Puscifer an amazing band.
If you really want a trippy rendition of this song try The Humbling River on their live album "Global Probing". Not what you expect after listening to this one that's for sure haha
Grand Canyon, Bullet Train to Iowa, Green Valley, Telling Ghost, Autumn ect. You could very well do album reactions to Conditions of My Parole, Money Shot and Extensional Reckonings
Check out the music video for Puscifer’s “Mama Said” and then do the live studio music video for a very different version. Back to back would be great!
Very hard to suggest a puscifer song as they all vary widely. Some of my favs (of the more approachable type) are remedy, bullet train to iowa, momma sed, conditions of my parole
Every Puscifer song is different, a couple of good ones are The Remedy, Momma Sed, Potions and Conditions Of My Parole. Puscifer is an experimental band so you never know what your gonna get.
I feel like Puscifer is where Maynard is his most free and creative. “Galileo” “Autumn” “Green Valley” “Grand Canyon” “The Underwhelming” “Grey Area” “Bedlamite”
With Puscifer, they're very experimental so a lot of the songs are sort of for people who are in to that, very artsy and eclectic. Songs I would definite recommend are: Bullet Train to Iowa, The Remedy, Bread and Circus, Momma Sed, and Conditions of my Parole.
You still haven't listened to Puscifer? Man you're missing out, so many bangers. I hope you do more of them. *React to this one, it's an official live/studio version: Puscifer - "Momma Sed" (Official Video - "V is for Versatile")*
All of Maynard's music connects. this song is an extension of 46 and 2, is an extension of all of his songs with his other bands. Maynard sings about evolving as a collective. The reason he can't cross that river is because he is alone. In order to ascend we have to go together. Different musician s... same Maynard.

Hey, found your channel because of your Infected Mushroom reactions and saw you just suddenly kinda stopped. I think the last two you reacted to might not have been quite up your alley based on how well you liked Becoming Insane and Heavyweight. Just wanted to recommend a couple that I think you would like more: Project 100 and Suliman. These are from the era of heavy guitar based riffs/solos paired with heavenly pads and uplifting melodies. Other than those I think you might also enjoy Jeenge, Elation Station and Dancing With Khadafi. These are way more relaxed and downtempo, which are genres IM also master beautifully.
I discovered them because of Tool reactions and am here for it. They are very eloquent in their takes on what they are hearing. Not sure what their channel was before, but am enjoying what I see
Agree with comments below that Puscifer feels a little more like an area for Maynard and the group members to experiment and less an attempt to lean into a formulaic sound
5 months and no uploads? What'd they go see TOOL and the chick got the "ick" when she had to go back to their band? Whatever the reason, should get back at it.
You won’t know Puscifer’s sound until you’ve heard about 10 of their songs, and by then you’ll just know to expect the unexpected 🌞🎶
This is exactly right... I also see it as a band that has a lil something for everyone's musical taste. From heavier rock to soft rock to even some kind of retro wavy sort of style
@@supervisedchaos even some of their remix albums appeal more to my girlfriend who into electronic based music more than I am.
Puscifer is genre-less. Electronica, Country, Dub-step, Rap, Rock! ✌️
I REALLY think she would like every song on APC’s album Thirteenth Step.
And Mer De Noms
@@johncarpenter3751 I don’t disagree but I feel like Thirteenth Step might be more in their wheelhouse.
Carina Round and Maynard's harmonies are SUBLIME! ✌️
Puscifer and A Perfect Circle have amazing DISCOGRAPHIES! ✌️
Puscifer - The Remedy
A Perfect Circle - Orestes
Esas son mis canciones favoritas en ambas bandas, se las recomiendo.
Saludos desde Chile.
If you want playful Puscifer, watch the official video for Conditions of My Parole
Puscifer has an amazing library of songs. Remedy is my absolute favorite, but i look forward to you diving into this band's discography.

And yeah, her solo stuff is amazing.
Puscifer, A Perfect Circle and Primus are going on tour next month. Go check them out if you get a chance.
Maynard’s Birthday at Red Rocks!! Can’t wait!!
@@Magniumopus I’ll be seeing them in Atlanta in a few weeks and I’m stoked
Nashville for me.

If you want amazing Maynard vocals, checkout A Perfect Circle live at Red Rocks "When the Levee Breaks" (yes its a Led Zeppelin cover)
Potions (deliverance mix) is one of my all time favorites

Hope everything is going well!! Miss you guys!!
A Perfect Circle "Judith" and "Pet". Amazing songs and lyrics.
Puscifer is a rabbit hole as deep as Tool and a must to explore! I get to go see them in a couple weeks! Can't wait!
My intro to Puscifer was Conditions of My Parole, a definite departure from what I had know from either Tool or APC. Hope you find your way to it 😊
Came here to listen to a great Puscifer track. But that intro tho. Wow. She’s got a great voice. Chill vibes 😎

I'd do entire album reviews for a perfect circle. They are concept albums. They even have a cover album. ✌️
Every Puscifer song is different, a couple of good ones are The Remedy, Momma Sed, Potions and Conditions Of My Parole. Puscifer is an experimental band so you never know what your gonna get.
I think you will probably enjoy "bullet train to Iowa". Hell of a song. Maybe put it on queue
Puscifer has an incredible diverse discography and it's chocked full of great songs!
A perfect circle-eat the elephant..for some Maynard vocals!
Basically, anything Maynard touches is golden ✨️it just takes time to get it.
Puh-cifer. Going to see the 3P show in April (Puscifer, Primus, Perfect Circle).
More Puscifer please. 🙏
Hey, you two aren't done with their discography yet! Come back!
One of my all time favorite songs
She is incredible on Personal Prometheus from the Global Probing live album!
this band is way underrated
Puscifer is fun band! Lots of different music styles
The Money Shot album and C Is For EP are the highlights of Puscifer for me. As for A Perfect Circle, their early albums are top tier.
Any song from Existential Reckoning is a masterpiece 🖖
Love Puscifer, definetely check these out - ""The Mission (M is for Milla Mix)", "Green Valley", "The Remedy", "Bullet train to Iowa"
Puscifer reminds me of Ween, in the sense they like to experiment with random genres, really well.
Maynard wrote a song about being humble. Hell has frozen lol
"The Remedy" and "Momma Sed" and "Cuntry Boner"
APC.....The Noose (live video)
A few must check out songs are Bullet train to Iowa, The remedy and Mama said. Three great songs that all have a different feel.
Momma Sed- all three versions (original, live version from What is Puscifer, and reimagined version Versatile Mix).
I feel like Puscifer is where Maynard is his most free and creative.

You gots to do A Perfect circle too, I would start with anything off of Mer de noms
Imagine a version of 9 Inch Nails but with Maynard. (Aka Tapeworm)

Pucifer....meh 🤷🏻
not the best song to begin with this journey with Puscifer. Next must be Momma Sed or Bedlamite.
