Hello Dr.Yoo, I need your help please. I had an open rhinoplasty 8 days ago. My alar was reduced, tip was sharpened and dorsum was raised to lengthen my nose. My surgeon did not use any implant but used my own septal cartilage and graft from my scalp to get the desired result. The length of my nose has been increased significantly. The nose looks good but I have been experiencing a strange problem. While sleeping when I turn my head to the side I can see the lower half of my nose bending towards the side I had turned. I can feel this movement and can also see it happening when I look into the mirror. So when I am lying on the bed and my head is on the pillow, when I turn my head to the left to sleep on my side my nose tilts towards the left and when I turn to the right the nose tilts towards the right side. Is this normal? Am I worrying for no reason? Do you think I should give my nose more time to heal? Thanks a lot.
What is the difference between general anesthesia vs. deep IV sedation? Does either of them reduce your lifespan or cause potential complications? I'm very nervous about my surgery
Thank you for posting this video doctor Yoo. Ever since I saw the movie "Awake" by hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba about anesthesia awareness It made me very terrified and reluctant about going under the knife. This video gave me piece of mind if how anesthesia works.
I’m terrified on general anesthesia for rhinoplasty because I’ve heard cases of people dying on the operating table and that it can also cause more nausea and swelling. Can I still be under monitored care anesthesia?

If 1 person in 100million die because of general anesthesia that doesn't mean that you can also die

How are sugar levels monitored during a cosmetic procedure for a diabetic . Since a diabetic can not eat 8 hours before surgery?
