They want to change something that is part of their heritage because of beauty standards from other parts of the world. I think that's sad. They look fine the way they naturally are. At one point prominent noses were actually considered attractive for men. But the majority of East Asians have monolids, so that's not even a good comparison. Just because I won't get eye surgery to get Asian looking eyes does not mean I think they're unattractive. I'm just content with the way I look and I have no reason to change my eyelids and I can't imagine myself wanting to change my eyelids if I did have them. If I ever fall in love with an east Asian and have kids with them, I wouldn't even think, let alone worry, about them having monolids. You're the one that is saying monolids are unattractive and the fact that you're not even Asian saying this is quite shocking. I'm very disturbed.
