Yeah that does the job on white grips. You can play around with the color dyes to get different shades to. I have done that in the past. Yours turned out just about perfect in my opinion.
Great job. Love the channel. Save up and get a freedom arms. Do a review and side by side comparison. I think we all would love a video like that. And possibly make it only 1 beer long. 😂

I've been using the medium brown for years. It turnsa little more yellow so i use a green scotch brite pad on it. That helps give it the blotchy look instead of one solid color
I don't know if it will work or not. But a guy told me if i soked my ruger grips there fake stag ones. In tea it would darken them up. I ended up just having some rose wood grips inplace of the plastic. Not a fan of plastic
Hmm interesting, not sure what a fee bean 🤔 is. But reminds of aging fake bone hair pipe beads, coffee or tea. Scor the surface slightly. Personally… I’d skip the black Micarta grips, and stick with those. They look great to me! That reminds me, I’m almost out of beer, and I need a new 4th of July, single action revolver… gotta run!

Looks like an antiqued ivory. Like it alot.
Thanks 🥃
Look great, I much prefer that over the bright white.
I like that better than the bright white as well. They look older that way. Good job.
Bright white is too much like PVC
What little real ivory I have seen looks just like that. Heck of a job. Just the right yellowish tinge to it. Very nice.
Thank you
Reminds me of my old man teaching me to grill a load of ribeye steaks when I was a kid. 🤣 half a beer/half a cigarette per side!
😁🍻
LOOKS GREAT.NICE JOB PLOWBOY!!!!🇺🇸
Thanks 🍻
Excellent work...that slight change in color looks like aged ivory. I tip my hat to you on a job VERY well done.
Very kind of you🍻

Those grips turned out real nice. Thanks for the tip.
2 beers time now your speaking my Language. 😂 it looks much better than the bright white
Thank you 🍻
It ages elk stag grips very well. I use the same leather dye in medium brown stuff works great. Thanks Plowboy keep em straight and watch ur 6.
Thanks 👍
Man that looks really good! Nice looking hog-leg too.
Hmmm..2 beers, so about 30-40 mins? 😅

Hmm...two beers.

🤣
Nice work young man. I’m keepin my 5.5” Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag though😊I’ll have to save a few more scheckles to move into that world!
🤠👍
I'd like that bfr Plow was showing, only in 44 mag. If I I didn't get it, a super B like you mentioned would be fine. Enjoy that thang 🦬

I just priced a BFR. Not as scary as Freedom Arms Revolver but still a bit spendy for my blood.
That looks sharp
Thank you🍻
Love it, looks fantastic!

2 slow beers😂😂. I've got about 100 slow beers in my 62 Hawken, it still ain't done yet👍
I had them put on black micarta for me. I'm glad I did
ivory grips look good.
Nice !
Thanks 🍻
Sooooo, 6 minutes. Gotcha
Nice
Thank you 🥃
Cheers dude
I learned the leather dye trick from you so I will say it again thanks buddy much appreciated
Thanks, brother 🍻
That bright white looks far too synthetic and unnatural. This looks far better IMO, though personally my preference would still be wood.
I don't know if it will work or not.
But a guy told me if i soked my ruger grips there fake stag ones.
In tea it would darken them up.
I ended up just having some rose wood grips inplace of the plastic.

I tried coffee and tea on other grips that wouldn't take color from any dye but this brand.

Yea, white grips belong on a 1970's New Orleans Pimps Saturday night Special...lol. These came out great with the slight ageing. Great job Sir.👍
Yep. Bright white is just too PVC ish to me.
Not too yellow, just a bit of aging. I like it.
Thanks 👍
Do you know what the conversion is for beer time to Geoge Dickle time? Thanks for the video.

I definitely like them better, now.
Coulda told us after a couple of beers you carved them out of an old Mammoth tusk you had hanging around,,, they came out nice ⭐
I would love some mammoth ivory

Ah ha! My 45 Colt grips didn’t season as well but I only went with the “3 beers soak”. Prolly should of done the “6 pack soak”! 🫠
Better than the "straight through to hangover" soak😁
