    What little real ivory I have seen looks just like that. Heck of a job. Just the right yellowish tinge to it. Very nice.

    Excellent work...that slight change in color looks like aged ivory. I tip my hat to you on a job VERY well done.

    Yeah that does the job on white grips. You can play around with the color dyes to get different shades to. I have done that in the past. Yours turned out just about perfect in my opinion.

    It ages elk stag grips very well. I use the same leather dye in medium brown stuff works great. Thanks Plowboy keep em straight and watch ur 6.

    Great job. Love the channel. Save up and get a freedom arms. Do a review and side by side comparison. I think we all would love a video like that. And possibly make it only 1 beer long. 😂

      I'd like that bfr Plow was showing, only in 44 mag. If I I didn't get it, a super B like you mentioned would be fine. Enjoy that thang 🦬

      I just priced a BFR. Not as scary as Freedom Arms Revolver but still a bit spendy for my blood.

    I've been using the medium brown for years. It turnsa little more yellow so i use a green scotch brite pad on it. That helps give it the blotchy look instead of one solid color

    That bright white looks far too synthetic and unnatural. This looks far better IMO, though personally my preference would still be wood.

    I don't know if it will work or not.
    But a guy told me if i soked my ruger grips there fake stag ones.
    In tea it would darken them up.
    I ended up just having some rose wood grips inplace of the plastic.
    Not a fan of plastic

      I tried coffee and tea on other grips that wouldn't take color from any dye but this brand.

    Hmm interesting, not sure what a fee bean 🤔 is. But reminds of aging fake bone hair pipe beads, coffee or tea. Scor the surface slightly. I'm with ya man something dark goes way better with stainless. Thought I had my griz bar revolver settle on yesterday but someone was a bit quicker than I

    Yea, white grips belong on a 1970's New Orleans Pimps Saturday night Special...lol. These came out great with the slight ageing. Great job Sir.👍

    Personally… I’d skip the black Micarta grips, and stick with those. They look great to me!
    That reminds me, I’m almost out of beer, and I need a new 4th of July, single action revolver… gotta run!

      Made it happen today. A high polished stainless, 4 5/8”, New Vaquero, in .45 Colt.
      I’ll have to stick to lighter loads, but I’m happy with it!

    Ah ha! My 45 Colt grips didn’t season as well but I only went with the “3 beers soak”. Prolly should of done the “6 pack soak”! 🫠
