This has potential to be the best racing game out. Let's hope they deliver on their promises. Haven't been let down by them yet so I'd imagine it'll be good.
Properly?? How TF can anyone play a driving simulator with a controller seriously?? 3rd person view no doubt. All the amazing physics and feel right down the side of a cliff.
@@petezzzz Yeah the problem is... would anyone want to drive a real car with a gamepad, in real life? Would they feel safe on a ride like that? Especially at high speeds. If the answer is no, why they think realistic sim would handle well on a gamepad. IRL it would be a deathwish combo. Trying to control a powerful 1000+ kg car with two tiny thumb sticks. I mean sure, if you add assists and helps, that aren't really there in real life, then you can get it feeling ok. But it isn't really a simulation at that point anymore. The physics nuances cannot be felt without a wheel, thus the player has no info to make good steering inputs
@@petezzzz I play seriously with a controller and am quite competitive. No third person view. Nuance aside, you can figure out how to steer just fine. Pedals are more important, though.
It’s been a long wait but I wonder if their creation (EVO) is going to be able to ever top the original game with mods?? Not made for controller, which kind of sucks but as somebody with a disability, I can’t really use a wheel and pedal set up, but that game menu is pretty atrocious. Looking forward to it if their ambition doesn’t bite them in the ass.
In early access build 1.... these are much higher quality cars than in [insert your average simcade title]. Especially in terms of physics. Full release will have at least 100. DLC and mods will bring more
Final release means 2030 if we are lucky As much as I’m excited how, many push backs this game had and still only a early access So chances are we will be disappointed, baton down the hatches for the fallout 48 hours after release where the realisation of the hype sets in
This racing game will even put forza and gt to shame and i am a forza and gt fanboy, Tracks and open world. Open world will have dealerships, workshops, refuel your car, renting cars for nurburing. Upgrade and customize cars, Progression with ingame economy, This title will be big, the game i look forward to the most in 2025. Just imagine what mod support will also do to this title, not just adding cars and tracks, but also proper open world Maps, maybe even aero and engine parts, the pontential is endless with ac evo. Imagine just doing all of that in vr good stuff😁
True, but this will be harder to drive (without assists at least). Aimed primarily for wheel users, and gamepad is secondary. Where as in Forza Horizon it's the opposite
Yeah he mispronounced Nordschleife pretty badly. The end is pronounced more like the English word "Lifer" (without the r). And EVO is supposed to be pronounced in the Italian way

Way to screw up a franchise Kunos, this is blowing my mind. All the eye candy in the world adds nothing to your racing. Last thing on your mind while screaming down the straight is wow those 3d trees look great lol joke. This is sounding so much more arcade than sim with every video i watch. Also in all the hype and markting for a racing sim i'm yet to see an actual racing car, all road cars wow what fun. Ultimately i'll be sticking to AC cuz well KUNOS if it ain't broke don't fix it. All you needed to do was release AC 2 exact same game with newly scanned tracks and race cars and modding. You wait the modding side of AC Evo will end up restricting what mods and will force micro transactions for said mods, destroying the mod community in the preogress.
Releasing just ac2 would be pointless, like Marco said ac needs to grow, its still a full simulation, People have already tried at sim expo, and its a full simulator not arcade, their will be race cars as well as road cars just like it was in ac1, Truth is kunos wants to,reach a much wider audiance, without sacrificing the simulator aspect, everything ac1 has it will do as well if not better, the only question mark is how much mod support will it get, but as of pontential is to much greter than ac1, For once kunos is doing something new and could make this a true revolution to the genre.
