maybe i think its going to have too much hype and not beable to deliver, especially when it comes to the modding store. AC flurished because anyone could make tracks and cars for the game but now you have to be told yes to have your mod shown in the store.
@@cool3865 I have wanted a realistic map, on real streets on a big scale for such a long time (1600km² is f*cking amazing). All of this on a realistic sim racing game and I'm going to be over the moon with just vanilla. Good mods and even extra features in the vanilla game are just a bonus to me.
It feels like 2025 will be the year that all the game studios that received big investment during the COVID boom are now revealing the fruits of the last 4 years of development - very, very exciting. I'm a sim racer... but also so so excited for iRacing Arcade and Wreckfest 2... pls!
Everyones really hyping up EVO (understandably) but lets be careful, putting it on a pedestal already could only lead to dissapointment. EMS is looking very interesting.
I think at the least, it’s really cool that the community is so hyped about the concept, and that desire for a game like this won’t dissipate even if evo ends up being disappointing (which hopefully it won’t)

Yes, Wreckfest 2, baby! Can't wait. The already outrageously fun Wreckfest is still going strong but a version 2 sounds like it'll be even more fun, especially if they manage to improve on an already great physics engine. And of course, add VR support.

Circuit Superstars is so under rated and deserved more than it got. I'm very looking forward to this "iRacing Arcade", since this is my first time hearing about that project.
Yeah CS made me a fan of the studio but then they ruined it with their Karting Superstars early acces (abonded after 1 or 2 updates) for this new Iracing game so it seems
@@Bambeakz - MY BLIND GUESS is that the publisher hired for 2 games and they had to release 2 games or pay and they decided to go the cheaper dumber dirtier route PS: Circuit Superstars is a game I wanna love but I can't because of how grippy it is. The Mastretta kids (yes, same family as the infamous Mexican supercar) are GeneRally fans from ages ago and they missed the point by making the cars grip too much. Also, they really underdelivered when it comes to track count IMHO.
We cannot keep our hopes up with anything related to Nacon or developed by KT Racing, they’ve shown time and time again that they are too arrogant to listen to the audiences and are obviously not putting in enough effort into their games, unfortunately the next few MXGP games and potentially also the Endurance Manager game are going to be boarderline scams until the MXGP rights is inevitably taken away from KT Racing
yup, I've refunded or refused to buy anything from Nacon and KT Racing for a few years now. Scams. They make games with all kinds of issues then abandon them to be never fixed, moving on to their next game.
I mean they just postponed Season 3 & Clan Wars now for TDUSC, which means it won't for long until they just started to quietly cease supporting the game for good going by the sudden decrease of players playing Season 2 alone

Why would anyone want to drive now, crap roads, crap cars, too expensive... I used to be a rally driver in the 80's/90's, I still like driving on sims but I avoid driving on the road, I don't even own a car anymore. Is easy enough to get a license later if they really need one..,
In regards to EMS, if that is actually the case where the ai takes over the car during the off stints, like GT4 B-Spec mode... then I am so on board. F1 Manager failed because it should have just been a normal F1 bot race, with management features. But it wasn't that and it felt like everything was scripted and manipulated. The cars didn't drive on the track normally, that was where they went wrong. In the early 2000's F1 games you could "spectate" races. You'd load up a track, shuffle the grid however you like and then just watch the race play out. I'd spent hours running reverse grid races in 2004 Monza and watch Schumacher and Alonso fight their way back up from the back. It was great to watch with the realistic broadcast UI and commentary of that era. If that EMS (first time I'm seeing it) works like how I want it to, the cars are driven by bots, so they can make mistakes and are reactive to each other in real time instead of being on rails when you are not in the car, then that is a real game changer for me.
Good vid. You only missed new FlatOut title that was just teased couple of weeks ago. It is suposively going to be a VR title, not sure if it will get released in 2025 or later. But I am intrigued, even tho the last couple of games were total garbage, I think it is a different team working on it now. Meanwhile I just finished Wreckfest campain for the third time, and probably going to play FlatOut 2 for like 15th time over ;D I am all about iRacing these days, but still the amount of thrill and joy you get from good old Bugbear creation is just fantastic. And that soundtrack - just epic!
Need more arcade racers that aren't kart games or open world live service. I enjoy sim racers but I long for the PS2/PS3 era that was dominated by series' like Burnout, Midnight Club, good NFS games, Test Drive, Ridge Racer and Flatout. Give me Free Race Mode or give me DEATH.
But also made by the devs that just recently released MXGP24 which is pretty much a half assed scam of a game, unfortunately we should not be expecting anything good from KT Racing after the absolute horrors they’ve given us in the past few months
Ive been feeling the itch to do some left turns for a while. I really hope that new Nascar games scratches said itch. Also I'm still half expecting Gran Turismo 8 to be announced around april/may time next year.

Tokyo Extreme Racer is a day one buy for me, I've no interest in any of these track racing games, there's too many in the market these days - boring - they're basically like buying the new Madden football game, just a rehash of the same thing I've already played for years. Hello. Thx for this vid. I like open world car racing. I would buy more, however, most of them are "Rated T", which has profanity in it. I really like Need For Speed but it has profanity in it and I refuse to allow that kind of language in my home. Right now I play Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and Asphalt Legends Unite. These are rated "E" and has no profanity in it. If the programmers can make more games rated E, I'll buy more of them. Until then, I guess the racing games are very limited for me. So, can you ask the makers of these games to make more rated E games? Thx.

I wouldn't bet on Wreckreation... I've had it on my Amazon wish list since the start of this year and it had a release date of December 31 2024.... Which was recently adjusted to December 31 2025

Yes i was here for ACE, but just my 2 pence on Wreckfest 2, the big issue with wreckfest, is that server hosts, do not have the option, to enforce cockpit view, ironically because of realtime damage physical effects, only EVERYONE playing with the realistic potential disadvantage of visual realtime progressive damage , ie playing in COCKPIT view, can online racing ever be considered fair to all players tthis is not even an argument.... play in cockpit and play with remote control 10 feet behind a virtual car, and the visual panorama is obvious....or is REALISM and IMMERSION not important to you?.. because it's critical to me.. ..that's all thx

No it's not. F1M23 lost support within a month, and 24 was an extremely buggy mess with a poorly handed custom team career mode. Devs went completely silent, again, after a month.

Yes i was here for ACE, but just my 2 pence on Wreckfest 2, the big issue with wreckfest, is that server hosts, do not have the option, to enforce cockpit view, ironically because of realtime damage physical effects, only EVERYONE playing with the realistic potential disadvantage of visual realtime progressive damage , ie playing in COCKPIT view, can online racing ever be considered fair to all players tthis is not even an argument.... play in cockpit and play with remote control 10 feet behind a virtual car, and the visual panorama is obvious....or is REALISM and IMMERSION not important to you?.. because it's critical to me.. ..that's all thx
