Thank you so much for this little series of videos. I'm finally about to build mine & it was your videos that answered some of my questions & gave me the confidence to give this metal cage buggy a go. I'm just waiting for the centre skid plate to arrive in the post & I'll have everything. I've resisted the temptation to start building before I have all the parts, I've made some body panels for it out of some half millimeter aluminum sheet while waiting. So again.. THANK YOU.! Stay safe out there mate & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️.!
Really enjoyed the video and build. When I first joined the hobby a couple of years ago I did a few of these budget builds using Amazon parts. Injora and the other Amazon brands get a lot of knock but I really enjoy the "cheap" builds and they perform just as well as my $1300 Capra lol. What I love about this hobby and Amazon is you can enjoy this hobby and spend what you want. You can experience a build for $250 on Amazon or go all out using Vanquish, Treal, SSD and so on for big money.
Yeah, a lot of things are not mounted as intended, I did it to make things work the way I wanted. I wanted the rear short and the front end as far out as I could get it.
Buy Holmes hobbies budget motor have better start up and power and esc startup set low will help on startup and add a cap pack plug into reciever the cheap servo's on bind will pull alot of amps as tested my self hard on the best esc.
All good info thanks, I built it using some parts I already had but I already see that servo needs replaced. I'm gonna run that motor for now til I get the suspension dialed in at least
Well, my links are pretty much parallel so I'm ok with how it is, and I want to keep as much weight up front as I can. But a good suggestion if I decide to change anything in the future.

So true
Awsome! the fire at the end worried me for a sec
Ha, just a ltiile fun editing 😆
Nice to see it under it’s own power can’t wait to see them on some rocks brother
Absolutely, a few small changes and time for some test runs
@@leesrcs most definitely
You have mounted the rear links in the front, for that reason it touches the servo in the winch bench. Best Regards

I was thinking the same, the front of the frame is all behind the steering. Good series of videos though using some budget brands.
cool rc and nice run
Thanks, it's together, time to start tweaking the settings
This thing is awesome
Thanks
Nice!
Mine I made I ran 550 brushless on 3s lipo was pretty bad ass but that ones nice
thanks, a lot of people still watching that build.
Great build 👏🏽
Thanks, now the fun begins, tuning
Cool build . Any reason you ran the transmission backwards? Is there a performance enhancement by doing this? Just curious
No not really, I've seen them mounted both ways. This way just kept my motor wires shorter for a cleaner look.
I think the steering link is backwards might be just me though
I go with whatever works the way I want it to

mount the servo on top of that plate so it doesn't hit it.
There was no room with the battery I used
With how much room you have between your batt tray and tranny why not move the tray back and open that space up for your servo

who else is jealous?
Me... That's why I'm trying to copy him.! 😂 😂 😂
