@@Fortes_RC_Adv thanks, hoping to make it a little cooler.
what driveshaft did you get thinking i might build this kit
@@nandoscustomdiecast368 the parts should all be listed in the description of each video
You need OD
@@Ziggy8750 that would help I'm sure, this was just the first test of parts.
Amazon Canada has the plastic version, i think I'll bite
@@jeeplivion cool, send me the link or some pics, I would be interested to see it.
Greetings. What axles are those?
@@jonathanrancel860 custom axles I built, I purchased all the parts separate and built them the way I wanted. I did a build series on them if you look back, they were kind of expensive but it's all good parts. unlike buying a cheaper set and changing everything later anyway.
Could I slap my parts from the scx10 base camp on that I'd love to have a buggy style but don't want the Capra price tag
@@whiskers762 Im sure you could make it work, I,ve used redcat, axial, Injora, all kinds of different axles and parts.
does the transmission have a overdrive?
I don't believe so
Cage I brought all offsided complete crap not one piece was set straight
Brought it absolutely dog crap welding all off sided wasted forty dollars on a badly made one disappointing
Awesome build! Do you remember what link kit you used? Scx10iii?
Never mind I found your link for the parts. I’m thinking of stretching the front links to 80&85, or maybe 90&95 what are your thoughts
the shorter they are the better it will climb vertically but sometimes you have to be able to clear driveshafts or servos, I don't think 10 mil difference is gonna hurt it much.
I ordered this cage set up for my The Batman 1: 10 hotwheels original edition rc and a sg1203 ripsaw converting to a max max fury road the peacemaker style rig .
It’s a builders kit, from china. Anyways any of us builders have been buying kit driveshafts off eBay, china driveshafts suck bad. there’s even amazon cut to fit driveshafts on the cheap. Good video
thanks for watching, I'm always trying different brands.
On the buggy without the body plates how long are your drive shafts? Do you remember?
most parts I used should be listed in the build videos descriptions.
Can ya upgrade to s stronger motor on this
not sure, i'm sure you could, it def does better with a stronger battery.
I'm thinking about buy this kit I hope works like your's
mine was fun and worked better when I went with better shocks. Traxxas big bore are my go to now
👽🤙🏻🙏🏻✨🤍🇵🇪
I just ordered this chassis, what size tube is it made out of? I couldn't tell if it was 1/4 or 3/16
@@jeremiahvowell1679 honestly don't remember it was a while ago, but it was solid bar not hollow tube, it was a fun build and I learned a lot.
Did you ever put that thing on a scale ?
@@themountain59 no, never did, should have. it was one of my first builds, did a lot of things wrong but had fun with it all. thanks for watching
Worst way to start a video! I am not even gonna watch it
@@idronecharpifpv89 cool, thanks for the comment and not watching 👍
If you want true flex measure to the bottom of the tyre, works out at around 6"..and also, why replace the small metal plate with an different plate..a lot of work to gain nothing !!!
yes very true, was one of my first builds, a lot learned since then.
dang my first vid missed out
new giveaway coming up next video stay tuned
Center of gravity is to high the shocks are also to floppy and tall lower it and get a smaller battery
thanks, those are all very true statements, that was my first attempt at a crawler prob 2 years ago. Learned a lot since then.
@@leesrcs my comments are never for talking down to anyone only as when people come to read these just so they know that people pay attention. Thank you for the comment especially at two years later I appreciate it.
Solid build, I always feel like my bodies need more trimming too 😂. 40° weather is tough for crawling for sure, but you do good job for the conditions. I wonder if you’ve ever tested that rig without the rear brass wheel weights and if it performed better or worse?
it works great with brass front and rear, no brass on rear made it great for vertical climbing but not so good on side hill and decent.
Can one buy a 270 degree servo for these trucks even if we don’t use it all?
any servo should work, you just have to adjust your end travel so you don't bind or break things. If your radio does not have adjustments then make sure you have some type of bump stop.
Can you turn the motor and transmission the other way? Be better for weight distribution
yes, you can run it either way, just depends on the length of your motor and if it clears your front links.
I love it, but my TRX Sport doesn’t have any room on the Transmitter. I’m outta luck I think. Any suggestions?
nothing other than hiding a switch under the body somewhere
What are the links from?
just a set of LCG links from amazon, the link to them should be in the description of one of the videos
This might be a stupid question but how did you mount your body posts?
the injora kit came with post mounts
Another solution is to adjust the steering servo endpoints using the TQI transmitter, it’s pretty painless to so using their ‘programming tree’ and you lose no steering angle, just the bump steer (and strain on the servo). 👍
yes thats true, but my issue was the panhard bar, limiting the servo would remedy that but I would also loose a lot of steering angle. It was just a quick fix option, its completely changed now 😆
Do you have a link I broke the driver side steering knuckle?
try this, or just go to aliexpress and look for remo hobby 1093 st , www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804833773091.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.17.5880378cvPKJTA&algo_pvid=6f3758b0-45fb-48c9-9a83-d195af83e89d&algo_exp_id=6f3758b0-45fb-48c9-9a83-d195af83e89d-8&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%214.00%214.00%21%21%214.00%214.00%21%402103249617146019687973974e2d4c%2112000031361538443%21sea%21US%210%21AB&curPageLogUid=QM9biDRRBPMx&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A

@@leesrcs Right on man thanks for the response I just got this about 2 weeks ago and few parts are braking already might get some from ebay or try this link thanks again👍
Love it!
there are other options but this is a cheap one
How long are the 2662
I dont have a set to measure but depending on the shock caps you use they are 100-105mm ish
Hey can you flip the trans around were the motor would be in the forward facing way
yes, you can run it either way you want.
@@leesrcs thank you I am wanting to build my first rig an I am just wanting to build something that climbs like a spider I am thinking about a pork belly 12 degrees chassis have you seen the chassis I am talking about thank you I am in this nursing home I got hurt about 4 years ago and I am in a wheelchair now an I have been saving up parts to build me a rig an I have everything but a chassis an links it's been 2 years getting what stuff I have got because I am not able to work anymore so thank you again
The front links are to short the axle should be more forward
thats how I wanted it to be.
Looking like a sweet build. Can't wait for part 2!
thanks so much, still making a lot of set up changes to find the right combo but its getting there.
What rc body? Thnx
I got that one used, I believe it was a Pro-line body, they can be expensive for just a clear plastic. I'm running a plastic hard body now.
Pretty cool mod. What servo horn is that? I had to check on my Trx4's to see if my rigs had the same issue. Non of mine did even the one rig that still has the stock horn. I think that horn you used caused the issue since it does not have a taper to it. Subbed👍👍👍
its an aftermarket horn, I plan on redoing this whole set up, none of it really worked out they way I wanted but thats all part of the hobby I guess.
Thank you for the info you gave the best good jobs 😊👍✅👍🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾👍✅
thanks so much
Good job This will be good.... I also needed some time for mine... Swap parts here, fine tune there.... As I said, it's going to be good.... If you like, you can take a look at the evolution of my LCG here: ruclips.net/video/DHYRtVBryMY/видео.htmlsi=NF3717GAadAH7taH Greetings from Switzerland 🤘😎
Mine I made I ran 550 brushless on 3s lipo was pretty bad ass but that ones nice
thanks, a lot of people still watching that build.
I'm looking these up on Amazon right now. Hope the give away went well
havent done a giveaway yet, but will be soon.
See I was watching the video were you got a great deal on them lcg chassis I can never find out how to go about that kinda stuff so help me out with something like that ok my friend
Im just always watching prices on amazon and aliexpress, especially around holiday sales.
HobbyPlus. Calm. They have this chassis in stock at 65$ almost all The time!
Hey I want to build that same truck I spent my money on a red cat shredder an it's not good the word shredder is what it has done to the diffs so I have a motor an esc that I can't use on anything else so I am trying to save up again an get everything that you have gotten to build that rig you have built because there's a lot of landscape around this building lol so I am just going to start from ground up wide portals first then links an was going to make a chassis from styrene because I can really do good work with stryene
Cool idea, not sure styrene would be stiff enough, but def light
I am really wanting to build me a lcg an on the cheap they are a lot of chassis on the market I got hurt about 4 years ago and I am now healed up but I am in a wheelchair an I am taking up RCs an building is going to be my hobby so hey my friend anything that can or would help me out because I am in this nursing home an can't get out to shop an don't have much of anything to pass off time Bobby Spencer 2966 slate Creek Rd Grundy Virginia 24614 because I can't get online alot so thank you for the great videos back to watching your videos
just buy a little at a time, thats what I do
Lee something is rong there its not performing the way e can
I had tire foams that were too stiff that day, its working better now 😆
Definitely worked but maybe the foams and link change would make a big difference but definitely works
yeah, foams were def wrong 😆
@@leesrcs but thats why we test
Id start with changing those tires that like to push instead of getting traction. Then try video again lol.
it was the foams I was running that day that were too stiff, but yes, i'm trying lots of different set ups to get the best out of the rig. 👍🏻
I recommend globact silicone Blues for the front inserts, i used a stiffer dual stage foam for the rear. I found Injora silicone inserts to be more spongy, and globacts tend to have a bit more of a crispy edge to their silicone.
I'm currently building the same chassis but I'm running a 69 nova body
awesome, send me some pics and ill put it on the channel, lees1.10garage@gmail.com
How is the build ?😮
The build and first test went good, hoping to have another video out in a few days, Im going out tomorrow for more testing.
