Not a bad job. All i did was buy a brass bumper mount that had a winch servo mount made into it. Then i relocated my steering servo forward, to the where you would mount the winch servo, and reversed my steering
Another solution is to adjust the steering servo endpoints using the TQI transmitter, it’s pretty painless to so using their ‘programming tree’ and you lose no steering angle, just the bump steer (and strain on the servo). 👍
yes thats true, but my issue was the panhard bar, limiting the servo would remedy that but I would also loose a lot of steering angle. It was just a quick fix option, its completely changed now 😆
any servo should work, you just have to adjust your end travel so you don't bind or break things. If your radio does not have adjustments then make sure you have some type of bump stop.
Pretty cool mod. What servo horn is that? I had to check on my Trx4's to see if my rigs had the same issue. Non of mine did even the one rig that still has the stock horn. I think that horn you used caused the issue since it does not have a taper to it. Subbed👍👍👍

yeah thanks, I thought about doing it that way too, just wanted to try this

Never a regret for joining your little online family.
Love it!

Nice fix brother

That was E6000/GOOP/SHOE GOO. All the same silicone adhesive under different names.
it works, I would have prob kept the box but the top was broken, prob where the new box will go back.
@@leesrcs No worries. It was a 3D print job, & not that great of one.
Can one buy a 270 degree servo for these trucks even if we don’t use it all?

its an aftermarket horn, I plan on redoing this whole set up, none of it really worked out they way I wanted but thats all part of the hobby I guess.
