Suggestions: 1, remove the flashy intro. It's very hard to look at. 2, don't talk too much to yourself. Try to talk to locals, but don't use the same bloody phrase. Learn from more phrases; 3, to attract more views and make better video, you need to have a storyline rather than just randomly taking videos without one. A story makes it last longer. You can think of this as forever scrolling. You want people to keep watching your video to know more about what, when, where, how, who. 4, take more videos of beauty laos girls. It's simple as that. Don't need to have any type of feeling. It's just a job of filming. You don't need to care too much about how people think of you. 5, try to introduce more interesting local people into your videos. Not just you and your girlfriend who both speak very bad English. Yes, your English is not that easy to understand. Try to fix your accent to a more international one if you want more views. More faces is a plus because it is more interested that way. I watch your video. I don't care slightly about you or your girlfriend, but I want to see more Laos people, and that is a fact.
Watched 1 of your honing videos, guess you haven't posted for a couple of years, never heard how well you can speak, and the music was really creepy all while you cut a hair with a razor WOWZA !! very interesting stuff
1- Please explain to us all how the "flash intro" is hard for you to look at. 2- Is this your first RUclips vlogger video? Talking to the camera is what a vlogger does. Seriously, is this your very first video? Actually, I think Todd does a great job of talking to his stick. 3- You obviously have not watched any of Todd's videos. 4- If all you are interested in is looking at women I'm sure you can find tons of videos about that on RUclips. 5- Again, you obviously have not watched any of Todd's videos. If you had you'd know that Neenee is his wife. 6- International accent? What? Please explain. Also, do you have an international accent? If so please tell us all how we go about acquiring such an accent. 🤪
...that's hard-core but keep your style, bros...random is also spontaneous n spontaneity is the spark of travel, but knew someone would go for you because you're so aussie, Paul Hoganogan got around that by talking slower, he could be right about you n wife being the constants in your vlogs, it is kinda self-centred but that's not unusual, you could voice overs, record over content if that bugs people, I don't have a problem with it, think it's pretty fair but getting into laotians heads by interviewing them ain't bad, you have done that n can do it, interesting comment by the gentleman, don't let it get to you tho, stay wild....
Yess, Vang Vieng, my favourite place on earth so far ... Miss it, want to go there for a couple of days just to relax ... We've been for a single night after new year this year, but that was too short ... Cheers! Enjoy Your stay!
Thanks for your vids always interesting. I wont be putting Vang Vieng on my list of places to visit in Loas this coming November. I can only imaging what lovely place it would have been, as it looks pretty stuffed now. But always good to enjoy some time with family and friends. Cheers
Brother, your video makes life have meaning no matter where we live. Enjoy the short life we have with the people entrusted to us. Love the songs and ending photos.
Hi Guys There are few changes at Gary's. The staff he used to have before Covid have all left, as he was closed for at least 18 months. He has also opened a pizza shop across the road from the bar. The old toll bridge is still open for M/C's and foot traffic as it is now in bad state of repair. They also no longer collect tolls on it..
Todd just keep what you are doing. Yes you are a bit different but that is part of what makes your videos fun to watch. The first time is was in Vang Vieng was 2000. I was the only white person there and we walked across the bridge to a small set of cabins and had to hunt around to find someone to come open one up for us. Only a couple little places to eat and mainly for locals. So different today. Keep up the fun.
Last time I was in Vang Vieng was in 2014. We stayed in those bungalows on the other side of the river. Can't believe the wee footbridge is gone and they have built a road there ....as you said, just not the same
I always enjoy the videos. I'm planning a short trip visa run to Vientiane from BKK in May lol. Next time it's a train ride north and maybe into China at a better time. Hope to visit the restaurant when there.
i went 2 times to VV 2009/ 2010 and like many others i think i'll be terrified to see those changes and nice stuff that had disappeared. Only great memories there, at the time it was not hard to find a bungalow or a room for 2 euros per night. LOng live TUbing!
Enjoyed your video. Missed VV very much. They should have constructed a better walk bridge across the river, so it won't collapse when heavy rain and flooding sweep thru.
That's a negative. The money needs to stay in laos. Lao people need to grow their GDP. Money in good, money out bad. That's why I keep saying China's relationship is dangerous for Laos. I'm not sure they have a choice anymore. 🤷♂️
Hello Todd, this seems to be a reoccurring statement of other travelers. “I was there in 2002. Doesn’t look the same at all.” Did you know VV was a secret American airforce base during the Vietnam war? Is the old runway still there for the planes? AirAmerica is a whole other story
Hey Richard.. it is still there, but looks to be developed soon into guesthouses, resort, supermarket, Hospital etc All 16 hectares of it. Am thinking maybe they should of developed this area sooner instead of all the concrete monstrosities lining the river now. Hope you're well mate 👍
@@NowinLao I can see what the Amari did to everyone’s view. That’s what big money does. I hope to revisit Laos next year. I want to take an older friend who lives in Pattaya. We are probably gonna take the new bullet train.
Came to VV the first time in the 80s. It was beautiful then. Came back a few months ago. The worst place Laos has to offer, despite the beautiful nature surrounding it.
Hey tod, thanks for the videos . Can you please share the name of the river cabins . Were off to vv in about 4 weeks and was really hoping to do a night or 2 in the cabins next to the water . Thanks matt
I don't think VV has changed for the better in the last decade. The unspoiled beauty has been over developed. I miss the bamboo bridge and the peacefulness of the opposite riverbank before.
Hi Todd, we are planning to visit vang vieng second week of June 2023. We never been there before just wonder if you could give us details like transport by train to get there & hotel. We are Aussie
If you're arriving in Vientiane, your hotel should be able to arrange train tickets for you. Ive stayed in a few at Vang Vieng but always find myself returning to The Vansana or The Silver Naga.. both excellently located with great views and pool. Expect to pay about $50au.. you can get cheaper... and much dearer, but they're my pick overall 👌 Have a great time guys 💪
I remember what that street was like before the Amari was there and the view of the mountains that many guest houses had. Something that big should've been built further back.. it still would've had a great view, but instead has ruined it.
Nice. We live in the us and planning on moving back to Laos in the near future. Your videos really inspired us. We want to move back and buy few acres and build fruit farms. We love your property with the restaurant. Keep coming with your videos. Take care

Thats not many compared to early years ago. Used to be way more
