I have seen all your videos and i must say, this one is surely in the top 5. Positive vibes, beautiful drone shots and landscapes to dream of. We Swiss people hope you never stop!!!
Vang vieng has to be one of the greatest places on planet earth. Visited twice when the river parties were still in operation and 3 times when the river parties stopped and you could focus more on the beauty and seclusion of the city. Absolutely wonderful place !
Vang Vieng is one of my absolute favourite places in the world. Have such amazing memories there and it was the first time I just felt complete and utter gratitude at how lucky I am that I get to travel the world. Great video Paddy, absolutely loving this new series 💜
Paddy I had respect for you already and loved your videos but having just started my first road trip my respect for you has gone up 1000%. I am sure most subscribers do not realise the effort in riding long distances but today I rode from Phuket to Hua Hin on my scooter taking just over 10 hours and I discovered the heat in protective gear is unexplainable, your back gets destroyed, your bum feels like you sat on a firework and Thais have extraordinary road rules. On top of that you stop and film stuff as well so the amount of work you put into each RUclips video is amazing. I am going Krabi in few days then an island then back to Phuket (yes poor route planning as I am like a yo-yo going back and forth) and will only suffer a tiny amount of fatigue and soreness to the amount you must have suffered to do all your videos RESPECT
Holy Moses, that bridge and waterfall at the end closing scene, was one of the most stunning sights I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely breathtaking.
Laos is insane, Vang Vieng has one of most beautiful scenic views, it is a wonderful country ! love Laos 💕Your vid. is great with some crazy adventures, a flight and a cave challenge, hahaha ! Paddy, you are amazing! Thank you for taking us along with you, i could feel the hight and the scarry dark in the cave . Stay safe, happy travel with Zelda to LP👍🤗
Meeting those kids on the river reminds me of one of my fav memories in Thailand, where I was waiting for a boat transfer on Phi Phi Island and I was just standing in a lagoon about ankle deep and I felt something grab my leg and I looked down and it was a smiling toddler, and I remembered feeling worried what people would think seeing some bearded adult dude with a young child and then I looked up and saw his mother smiling and just wave to me and my fears subsided and I just played with the kid in the water for a little while and it was wonderful, kids really have a way of brightening your day.
Another wonderful video Paddy, full of adventure and bravery, stunning drone scenery, with a relaxing background music, your talents just put me into a trance every time, with you all the way mate, take care 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Just epic the views, music and narration, a perfect video! I am in love with Vang Vieng. Being adventuresome that cave is right up my alley. That aqua blue lagoon was just stunning. Glad you are being a good boy staying off the beer. Hahahaha
I suddenly remembered those Vietnam kids playing in the mud on a hot day and having fun jumping into the water. You were dancing & laughing with them. Laos & Vietnam are equally beautiful. Glad to discover these 2 countries through your lens.
It's so cool watching how much you've progressed and evolved from your first videos and budgeteers... You're cool AF paddy I always have loads of fun watching your videos..I can't travel because I'm poor stuck in America.. But your videos help me out, Thanx
Excellent series on Laos, looking fwd to what you think of Luang Prabang, the temples and having a coffee overlooking the mighty Mekong. Great work thank you.
Incredible scenery from the paraglider..... looks like a total thrill! One big adrenalin rush. Shame about tthe 45 minute delay to be picked up..... even worse, no 7-11 around to pick up a trusty toastie while you wait :)
Thanks for sharing Paddy, we were in Vang Vieng a few days ago and went to Blue Lagoon 3 on rented motorbikes. Felt the same as you about the lagoon, the journey there was the best bit, amazing! Glad we didn't bother with the cave you went to, not sure I could have handled that 😯
That cave looked super sketchy! No guide? But the views from the paraglide looked absolutely stunning. Both activities take people out of their comfort zone. You have shown lots of bravery, Paddy.
What spectacular scenery. I think I would do the paragliding over the hot air ballooning too. I would definitely be giving the cave tubing a miss, as I'm terrified of dark confined spaces. The children were so cute 😍
Paddy, go to Kasi and Meet Up with Uncle Tom, He’s a jolly chap, a Welshman… He runs a Motorcycle School, and brings His Students on trips on a MotorBike!!! You’ll love him!
That was a funny start, - Paddy D. starting his Countertenor Career in a remote cave in Laos, his audience have been beetle, mosquitoes and spiders Lol!.... i am just kidding, in fact that was a dangerous experience without a guide ! Brave Paddy✌! Ty Paddy, very nice video great landscape flights ❣👍
Laos is such a beautiful country, not spoilt by overdevelopment. When I went 6 years ago a lot of the back packers skipped Laos and just did Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia
In 1997 there were 2 accoms in town, then fffn KABOOM!It grew faster than any place Iv seen or been in SeAsia.03,04? the dirt street was paved n she was booming. Then the tubing wasted@drowning era arrived
Man you did it again. I am overwhelmed, speachles and hypnotized from that beauty, i thank you again and again, you are such an amazing guy, thanks for extending my Horizont. Keep punching and stay safe.
I’ve been in Laos many times but never have experiences natural Beautiful landscape and places like this,I like that sunset point a lot too, thanks again for sharing your amazing experiences Paddy😊
Thank you Paddy!! We absolutely love watching your videos!!! You are so genuine and lovely!!! Got us hooked from the minute we " found" you!! Keep doing what you're doing- it's very inspiring!!
Loving this new series Paddy! So good and uplifting! Laos looks magical! Just noticed you have 120K subscribers! Well done! When i started watching your channel, you had less than 20k! Brava! (-:
im loving your videos mate, im heading to cambodia and thailand next year and after watching your vids im going to reduce my time in thailand to spend a couple of weeks in laos tyvm
The tubing in the cave had us crying with laughter, your commentary was so funny 🤣 I felt claustrophobic just watching it, imagine if your torch had gone out or you lost the rope! I love that you tried it 👊🏼
Those scenes in the cave were hilarious- "I'm doing it because I saw some people on Instagram doing this having fun! I'm claustrophobic!" Aaah, legend.
Wow great footage Paddy stunning. You really captured the essence of Vang Vieng. Imagine losing your grip on the rope in that cave (l did 😳) luckily there were a lot more people in there when we did it and my son hauled me back before l floated away 😂
I'm not sure how I ended up here, but thanks for the memories of Vang Vieng! I actually went tubing there in 2004 so now feel very old! Back then there was nothing along the river, no bars or rope swings, just an occasional guy with a crate of beer Lao to sell you. Very tranquil. I returned in 2007 and it had already changed a lot. Still a wonderful place though, so beautiful!
I’m fully enjoying your journey and have come to anticipate each new installment. I have learned a lot from you- both in how you travel and your attitude about the things you encounter. You will always be young at heart but I love that you can differentiate what makes sense for you as you move along in years. Keep it up!
Paddy, u have an incredible nak of pairing music that is in such harmony with the scenery that I almost feel I was there with u. Almost. Which is perfect, to make my wife and I pine for when it is our turn to follow in your footsteps. Great work fabulously inspiring. Full of envoy for what a truely amazing life you make for yourself. Great stuff.
WTF that paragliding! Gotta love you turned yourself into a drone :) I'll be there in 10 days or so, and though I don't have a good enough bike/skills to tackle tough roads as you do I think I can get myself to sit there and be adventured like that!
Cool flight mate, that is a very good way of gliding in the sky and taking a view of Vang Vieng 👊 took me back to 2019, we went into the exact same cave while tubing 👍 we had fun mate, were with agroup of chinese tourist and they all were scared 🤣 Vang Vieng is amazing with lots of things to do and see. The side were you stopped near the vridge and pulled out Sparky to get those shots is amazing, we sat down near the bridge under that big tree and met some local guy whi was walking with mom and sun elefant back in 2019 what a memory 🙏 Tha best way to do the site seeing is on a motorbike mate, we did it also. Enjoyed it back then. The lagoon you visited is ok, we went to 3 different ones, way more beautifull and in the sun, but hey, can't win em all. We enjoyed ep. 3 mate, and as always, C Ya in the next one Paddy, cheers 🙌🍻
First time I think I’ve heard you do a narration. Well done Paddy. Always evolving to the next level! Sorry I haven’t been keeping up as often but I’m living the dream travelling. I promise to always catch up and possibly follow in your footsteps. Thanks Good Sir.
I first went to Vang Vieng 24 years ago and went tubing, although it was a very different experience then to what it was 15 years ago or even now. There were half a dozen of us and we didn't see another person for the entire trip. It was a magical beautiful experience and I was saddened to hear what it had turned into 15 years ago!!
Great video! So nice to see this area. When I visited in 1992 there was still unrest and fighting going on wirh rebel forces and the only way from Vientiane to Luang Prabang was to fly. Can't wait to see how much it has changed in 30 years when I visit next month!
Hi Paddy, I've just been introduced to your channel a few days ago as ve been watching vlogs about Vietnam and considering visiting. I watched a vlog where you were riding the cable car up to Sapa Mount and you mentioned that it was scary because of the heights. How would you compare your paragliding over the Loas town to the Cable Car ride in Sapa? Just because I'm a bit chicken too for major heights. Cheers Paddy
This clip, Paddy.. takes the prize ! A constructive critique would put to you is that some of your clips are long in diatribe, and short on the adventure. This clip brings to my mind the adage, 'A picture is worth a thousand words.' Exceptional aviation footage !
Quick tip regarding Blue Lagoon 3 -- the best thing about it isn't the lagoon but the cave you can explore there. Tight squeeze to get in but well worth exploring the awesome caverns! Bring your phone flash light 🔦
Enjoy Episode 3 of 'Lost in Laos' 🇱🇦✌🇱🇦

My hairs on my arms literally stood up at this! Breathtaking is an understatement
@@N18DTK Paradise. No words can describe it. A true heaven on earth.
Absolutely that patt was out of this world
Brilliant footage paragliding around Vang Vieng Paddy! You are more courageous than me. Thanks for showing us the best of Vang Vieng.
After spending the year travelling around Asia, Laos was my favourite by a mile. Amazing country.
Laos is insane, Vang Vieng has one of most beautiful scenic views, it is a wonderful country ! love Laos 💕Your vid. is great with some crazy adventures, a flight and a cave challenge, hahaha ! Glad you enjoyed it mate ❤️
What a gloriously beautiful place!! Another excellent vlog Mr Doyle 😊
I suddenly remembered those Vietnam kids playing in the mud on a hot day and having fun jumping into the water. You were dancing & laughing with them. Laos & Vietnam are equally beautiful. Glad to discover these 2 countries through your lens.
Nice one Paddy. Wish i would have had time to do the glider, that looked awesome. Enjoy the rest of Laos!!
Next time!

Paragliding looks epic! Blue lagoon 2 & 4 are our favourites 🙏
Ah good to know for next time ☺️

Beautiful Country and somewhat untouched. thank You paddy..xo
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful video mate. Look forward to seeing you at the beautiful falls in LP
I recently went scouting around SE Asia for a month. Vang Vieng is easily my no.1 go back to, for an actual holiday. LOVED it!
What spectacular scenery. I think I would do the paragliding over the hot air ballooning too. I would definitely be giving the cave tubing a miss, as I'm terrified of dark confined spaces.
The children were so cute 😍
You and me both!

Thank you Paddy!! We absolutely love watching your videos!!! You are so genuine and lovely!!! Got us hooked from the minute we " found" you!! Keep doing what you're doing- it's very inspiring!!
I' m belly shaking with laughter with the whole 'tubing through darkness' bit
Was lucky to have been here when tubing was in full swing back in 2010
Always love and look forward to your vids! Thank you!
Wow great video, if I ever had and itch to do the cave experience, you have well and truly scratched that itch. Looking trim by the way, well done
Thanks 👍

Loved the funny kid at 15:43 :P needed a laugh to start to the day! Nice video!
Whoa, what a scenic views good job paddy
No to the water cave and yes to good views! Thank you!
It’s not that bad if you go in with a group.
Lovely video! I think 30 min for a weekly show is great!
you need to turn the ring on the light to make the beam wider.
Finally watching one of your videos while in Thailand and is about Laos. Now I have another country to explore.
Wow great footage Paddy stunning. You really captured the essence of Vang Vieng. Imagine losing your grip on the rope in that cave (l did 😳) luckily there were a lot more people in there when we did it and my son hauled me back before l floated away 😂

You seemed more stressed about the cable car in Sapa than the paragliding, which would terrify me, how funny!
I am happy to receive Lao teachers. I am a laos person. I am very happy to see you there
Wow!!! Vang Vieng looks amazing. We will have to add this to our bucket list Paddy! Thanks for the adventure.
Hi Paddy! Once again fantastic footage & so beautiful! Must try Power Gliding? Have a great weekend. ❤💕xxx
that was a superbly crafted piece of work Paddy
Saving all your Laos video for when we get there in a few years!
Ye ! That waterfall at the end WoW ! Love to do the Paragliding too.
Stunning views! Great camerawork too!!!
Love these videos!!!
Great video man!! Your energy is positive here and the view is super amazing
Great video Paddy 😀
I'm also a solo traveler, sometimes the adventure is getting lost and finding yourself rather than finding the destination : )
When you come to Laos, you would see how simply beautiful this country is. Just simply beautiful.
I’m fully enjoying your journey and have come to anticipate each new installment. I have learned a lot from you- both in how you travel and your attitude about the things you encounter. Love the aireal shots and the colored roofing of the houses 🏘
Wowza! Lots of adventures today! I am claustrophobic too so would not be doing the cave thing. Lol!
13:20 “I’ve been pulling myself in the dark for 15mins”😅😅 great choice of words Paddy
WTF that paragliding! Gotta love you turned yourself into a drone :) I'll be there in 10 days or so, and though I don't have a good enough bike/skills to tackle tough roads as you do I think I can get myself to sit there and be adventured like that!

This kind of thing when you go to see places and local just hit different
watching your series, it's been enjoyable so far 👍
didn't expect other tourists in the vid but i guess life is back to normal now?
I can't wait to go back and visit these beautiful places

Thank you for tis video. The scenery is incredible, looks a lot like Viet Nam.
I missed going to Laos. One day I will return to Laos.
Love it. Thanks for sharing Paddy.
