She lives just 35 miles from Myanmar. For years she gathers donations from us, to help individual families! I can barely type, crying so hard! Thank you ALL!
Just saw your video posted 45 minutes ago. I’m also a Canadian. I have spent time in 47 countries in the last dozen years some multiple times I have never been to Thailand, but I have a deep respect for their culture and religion, I know they are some very good people and seeing you help them in the most remote places inspires me. I hope that I can visit Thailand soon and we can collaborate and do something just like this a Christmas video like this warms my heart I love seeing the joy of children that least expected anything like this, they are the most deserving. Thank you also to the sponsor of this video and God bless his wife and his good heart and what she instilled in him to help these people there is still more to be done, and these people are so pure and deserve it. Ryan, 47 countries and Thailand isn’t on your list? Oh this makes me sad as I’ve been to 30 countries only in part because I keep returning to Thailand. It’s my FAVORITE country in all of Asia. Please make it a point to help,out in the northern region because many are from Burma (now Myanmar) and cannot return to their country because it’s not safe to live there anymore due to civil war. Many have moved to Thailand. The Thai ppl are so very gracious and hard working. Please make it a priority. Thailand needs you, so do the very poor children from Myanmar
My first trip to this area was in 2005. I visited a refuge camp outside of Mae Sariang. Our focus was on 50 orphans who watched their parents murdered, raped or enslaved by the Burmese Army. It was heart wrenching. I took a pediatrician with me who gave the children health check up. I have returned to northern Thailand 30 times since then. I decide to live below my means to free up money to share with those in need.
As soon as I get this thing out of my eyes, I'm going to share this all over the place. God Bless you Chris, Michael, ICare John & Sally Limb and of course the volunteers and donors.

Many people would think this is a hardship. Yes it would but for people who were born and grew up there, they have dreams that someday everyone of the new generation would change things to the best that they can do. I'm living in Los Angeles nowadays, your video reach me every angle of my heart. I'm so proud to be born and raised in Chiang Rai up until 26 and I'm now 33. I dream about getting back someday and do my part to improve the so call nothern Thailand to it future. Thank you for your content.

Something rewarding about helping kids that deserve the help so much. Kids without ego, thankful and appreciative for what they have even if it’s so little, respectful to their parents, pure hearted. The exact opposite of kids in Los Angeles where I live…. I think I’d also leave these Thai/Burmese/Lao/Cambodian kids in my will someday.
Lovely. It seems like the important thing, when you're spending limited money to help people, is how much they need the help. These people have what appears to be a good life, with love and family support, but it's rewarding to help them with some material things. I like to see every child have matching school clothes, and enough to eat.

Agree. Some would argue (perhaps wrongly) that removal from family to fund them later with a city based income is questionable; but I see a net positive. I hope. Who will provide elderly care ? So the villages will change, yes.
