When I was a kid I drag raced in my 69 Sedan Deville many times, and won most of the time, made a lot of people mad, especially when they were making fun of my big old boat just before I blew their doors off. I learned very early I could sit on the starting line roasting my tires off, or get her moving, then bury the gas pedal in the floorboard, meanwhile the competition was still smoking their tires, and I was already half way down the track. Good times. One of my friends recently pulled the 472 and turbo 400 out of the caddy he inherited from his mom, rebuilt the engine and put it in his Chevy C-10 short bed pickup. It's sweet.
