The fact that people will buy a Jeep for $100,000 is crazy to me
Yep.. ordered a 2023 with every single option I could ever want for a sticker price of $38.4k. Paid less than that obviously. Seems crazy that I could buy a new Jeep, pay for a lifetime of fuel and maintenance, throw in a Miata for driving on the weekends because whatever that's cool, and then still have enough cash left over to fill the entire back of my Jeep with cheeseburgers for my whole graduating class back in high school. Or I could buy one Jeep with a derpy grille and some tires.
Absolutely insane
Jeep fan boys/girls will buy this in a heart beat, true fan stays faithful
@@jtomtl Sucker born everyday!
Well many people people have more money than we do.
At 100k they can keep their jeep.
You’d be surprised how many people are going to buy this….. people are dumb enough to pay over 100k for a bronco
Imagine the mall crawling they could do!
70k for a decent one now.
Aint that the truth! Jeep forgot who was buying them!
It’s all about validation and how many Instagram likes they can get on it because of how “cool” their purchase is… I’m happy with my lightly modified sport 2 door model…. Has conquered every trail I’ve taken it on so far!
There's nothing special about this compared to another 392 other than 20th anniversary badge decals. The MSRP on a non anniversary is~80k and this one is 110k MSRP. The Auto industry has lost their freaking minds, hopefully no one's stupid enough to pay that much money for a polished turd.
I agree that the auto industry has lost its mind. Unfortunately, Jeep will sell every single one of these, and they will ask $150k for the next “polished turd” they announce.
@@aldo90731 I don't know this time, Ford Bronco is seriously eat into their profits and I bet you they do sell all four thousand of these, but I do not seeing it being sustainable.
Well, 20k in upgrades from AEV is nothing to sneeze at. Their reputation is well deserved. They make amazingly capable, very drivable Jeeps.
If you can afford it, why not?
Meanwhile, I'm perfectly happy with my moderately modded '20 Sport S. It'll go further than I care to push it, for 1/3 the price...
@@speed33169 where do you see 20k in upgrades??
@@texasbradley getting to 20k in upgrades is easy:
37″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires
Warn VR EVO 10-S winch
AEV 17″ Savegre II wheels
AEV 2.5″ DualSport RT Suspension System with Bilstein 5100 shocks
AEV 7000 Series Off-Road Lights
AEV EX Front Bumper
AEV Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier
AEV Front Skid Plate
AEV Off-Road Jack Base
AEV ProCal SNAP
AEV Vehicle Build Plaque
4.56:1 axle ratio (4xe)
Mopar performance wipers with integrated washer jets
MSRP $20,135.
For that price, it should come with Dana 60s... I'm at $115,000. Fully loaded Diesel Rubicon + build (Dana 60s with upgraded brakes, 40s, long arm kit, winch, etc.)
Never in my lifetime could I spend 100K on a vehicle, but love that jeep is offering this. Here’s to hoping the keep with the 35&37 tire trend for future non-anniversary limited editions….and REALLY hoping this trickles into the gladiator!
It definitely needs a refresh that its getting soon, and then its still not worth $110,000. Damn that's a lot zeros. These auto makers are learning from Porsche how to gouge their customers. Pretty soon they will be charging $5,000 for yellow seat belts. $110,000 are those rims forged or at least rotary forged? I bet you pay $110,000 and get heavy and soft cast aluminum wheels.
you'll pay for green environment! "a big ego"
The cool thing that Jeep has that Ford, Toyota and others don't is MOPAR which is the Stellantis division that offers all sorts up upgrades that can turn any Jeep into a TRUE offroad monster!
Go buy Tommy's Jeep Willy which was only $35,000 USD which has real keys and proper manual door locks, manual windows and simpler interior and add some MOPAR parts.
Put some 37's beadlocks on it! Get a heavy duty bumper with a 16,000 lbs heavy duty Warn Winch with 500 feet of ultra-strong Dyneema Rope. Add a full upper LED light bar, fog lamps front and rear and interior roll-cage plus some extra Infrared enhanced Go-Pro cameras front, back, left, right and underneath and topside on a split-screen display. Add the Combo VHF/CB/Shortwave Transceiver Radio system with ultra-long-range 20 foot collapsible antennas. Add a ruggedized 20 Gallon Jerry Can for extra fuel.
You can turn your much less costly base Jeep into a TRUE OFF-ROAD MONSTER with less than $5000-to-$10,000 USD of aftermarket add-ons that will costs in total NOWHERE NEAR what a high-end from-the-factory Rubicon costs

@@StarGateSG7it’s not moose that makes Jeep great, it’s the aftermarket solutions that are made for it. Awesome lift kits, tires any size you want axles and engine options. It goes on.
This thing is going to be bought by collectors, speculators and influencers.
For over $100k it better blow me when i start it!!
It does! Auto suck standard!
He said its the most capable off roader. Wrongo Bongo, the $350,000 G wagon with port axles will kick its but.
Yes it comes with your choice of hologram girls. So far just Megan Fox and Scarlet Johansson, but there are plans to add more. They were originally going to include an AOC hologram but it turns out all their customers were lighting their jeeps on fire for insurance money.
@jeffk464 probably but there hasn't been anyone that has put 38 or better yet 40s on it to prove it on the trail. As of now, the Jeep and the Bronco are the most off-road capable off the lot. Personally, I take a Toyota than anything when taking it on the trail but for Toyota normally you have more things to modify for them to be capable as a jeep. I wouldn't waste my money on that Jeep but it's undeniably capable.
Oh it does! Every time you start it, it blows your money right out the window.
If your head is exploding at this price, you are welcome to buy a perfectly capable Wrangler Sport for around 35k. And if you're patient, you might be able to get one for less since they technically start at 32k.
Good luck with dealer mark ups. Used maybe but let’s be honest who buys a Jeep wrangler sport? Cause those people that buy em most likely don’t know how to take care of them
LOL, prices are insane. Reality is about to set in with these manufacturers..
For real , 110k for a jeep , nope
But the fca guy said, it’ll crawl up a house
Everyone has been saying that for 5 yrs though yet consumers keep buying 🤷♂️
I'm waiting. There is a wrangler refresh coming out, a new Ranger, a real new Xterra, a new Colorado, and a new Tacoma and 4runner. The prices are going to be coming down and there is going to be a lot more legit offroaders. Jeep is about to get overwhelmed by competition.
Worked new car dealerships for over a decade.
Definitely a perfect storm is coming. Repossessions
All time highs, wealth gap inequality growing…😮
I was shocked when I found out it was $100,000 until I found out they had red seatbelts and then it all made sense🤦🏼♂️
Lmao
Ive said it before. Who are they making these vehicles for? It is not the average American. Inflation is going up and up, interest rates are high. Yet their solution is release a $110k vehicle. Car manufactures are in big trouble then
Never thought I would see a 100k Wrangler.
Its a fragile pavement princess. If i ever make jeep type i want to be able to drive it through the trees without scratching my paint
They need a 392 Gladiator
Yes!
Bingo PAL 🤙🏻😎😎
The only way I would actually start over with my JT build.
I think that the problem with a 392 Gladiator is that it'll compete with the Ram.
will the roof still leak for 100k?
Would it be a Jeep if it didn't 🤣
Like the Bronco.😂😂😂
It was awesome meeting you both briefly today after the Jeep presentation. Longtime subsriber and love watching all the videos across the TFL line.
I picked up my 20th 392 yesterday. i was / am still grinning like an idiot. love it
My dealer will charge $111,000 MSRP + $111,000 ADM 😂❤
Jim seems like such a cool guy
110k? No way
Customers have choice? Sweet, I choose a 2 door 392 with Xtreme Recon Package. Actually let’s also work up a 2 door Diesel with Xtreme Recon Package. I have a buddy that wants a 2 door 4XE with that AEV 37in setup. Where do I order Mr Morrison?
With the BRaptor out, would you expect any different? Still, I expected at least 40’s. 35s?
Jeep wrangler is a legend.
I thought $110K was insane for a Wrangler until I saw that they put a special icon on the shifter knob. I need to get my order in! LOL!
Should’ve asked why there isn’t a 2-door version 😕
I think this is a weak jeep. Soft jeep.
Jeep simply answer: They won't be able to charge 100k.
JEEP is the BEST!!!! Many Thanks Guys for this Excellent Video!!
Wow, what a profit margin on these vehicles. Jeeps are great and one of the reasons they are great is that they really haven't changed that much in 15 years. Components are easy to find and have become reliable. The components also should get more affordable as time goes on. Frames, suspension (without the AEV stuff), body, engine options, transmissions, and interior components that are shared with other vehicles in the brand. I know trucks are big profit margins for manufacturers but Wranglers have got to be up there as well.
You’ve obviously never crawled under a 4xe. When the hybrid cooling stuff breaks on the trail, come see me then.
@@MissusDoge he’s not talking about a hybrid.
Can still get a Jeep for 35k pretty easily, and you can probably order a bare-bones one for 32k.
@@rickthomas422 Where….online ordering?
Well it needs all the electronic gizmos that are available on the Bronco, especially the big screen and offroad cameras.
Didn’t know a more functional looking lift would ever be possible
I’ll take that 4.0l first rubicon over any new one anyday.
Ole reliable
They are sticking an inline 6 turbo in it soon. Being a turbo it probably wont be as reliable, but its still pretty cool. Still inline 6 engines are kind of naturally reliable.
@@jeffk464 ain’t no jeep anymore 🤮 they turned the Cherokee into a clown car too. The most reliable vehicles you can find were made around the time that 4.0 went away
@@freedomisntfree_44 that 4.0 was reliable for sure, but you know my little 2.0T GTI pumps out way more power.

Wow, beautiful and unlimited budget must be nice. The 2023 is less capable than mine. I’m only into my 2021 JLUR Rocklander V6 Etorque at just $55k with all mods, and totally happy about my savings from Southfork CDJR. V/r, -Ryan from RocklanderUSA PS:I’d totally destroy the TFL Off-road trail course ;)
Nowadays it's not a new truck if it isn't more than 100k
For a 100k. That's a great RV with a diesel.
Not a new RV. Not for 100k.
Welcome back to Chicago!
Jim is right. " let the customer choose." I'm going with a lower spec Rubicon JLU and then customizing. BTW, what's the latest on the diesel HPFP fix? Would loved to have seen an anniversary diesel edition w/a power plus up!
The diesel is dead and have already released their last edition. Will not be available in MY24.
Did you guys notice that the 392 anniversary edition had a 2H option on the shifter? Any word also if they are going to put the 4:1 ratio in with the 392 engine along with that 2wd capability?
Welcome in the house.I didn’t know you guys are in Chicago.I would go and meet you in person 🤦🏻♂️
I thought I made it when I started making over $100k a year and then Jeep is out here selling a WRANGLER for over $100k. give me a break.
We could do better with half the money
Out of the 4000 of them, 6 will see off-road action
6?! I think you are reaching there. In the last 2 years taking my Hard Rock on jeep Jamborees, how many 392'S Do you think i have seen.........0!
"This thing costs as much as a house if you'll let it." Swear I heard him say it.
It cost more than I paid for mine.
So all that price for a new Jeep and yet still no Uconnect 5?
That's a lot of money for death wobble
Can't wait until this goes up on tflbids!
excellent video guys!!!!!!
Only 1 interior light dimmer though.
That Red TJ Rubicon at the beginning of the video is beautiful and would be my first choice over any of these bloated, overpriced poseur JLUs
Agree and brand new they were $24,000
I owned a TJ Rubicon… the JL Rubicon performs better on the trails. Heck, I bet a stock Willys JL would perform better on the trail than a stock TJ Rubicon. The TJ is definitely a beautiful Jeep tho.
Now all I need is, to get six numbers on mega lottery tonight. 😂😂
I bought my 2013 10th anniversary Rubicon in Hawaii, new off the lot in August 2013. I have the two-door model, it cost me 40K out the door, and I still have it. I would love to get the 20th anniversary, but for 90-plus thousand dollars, Jeep can keep it.
I would NEVER pay that much for a 4x4
I have a 50k Wrangler and I thought that was overpriced. 😅
They could have at least put portal axles on it for that money
Exactly, this is just a overpriced metal box.
@@JEEPIMPACTits an empty aluminum can and when you drive it betweem two trees you will scratch your paint
Imagine spending 111k on a Wrangler. A vehicle with a starting price of 32k. As the saying goed “there’s a sucker born every minute”.
Now look at this way. You buy the Base Model Wrangler and you want the capability of the Rubicon 392 you are going to drop almost 70k in aftermarket accessories to get that kind of capability and then you won't have a warranty with those aftermarket parts. Dana 60's Front and Rear cost $18k alone.
@@MichaelSmith-kr9qw This doesn't come with Dana 60s....they are "HD" Dana 44's.
@@Warpath1901 Even so the Dana 44 is $5600 a piece. It isn't cheap to build it yourself
Not scared... Looks good! Ok Ford, your turn to One up.
That grill is BALLZ
It’s like the Silver Anniversary CJ model ❤
Just imagine how impressive the dead wobble would be on 37s right out if the factory.
I just picked up my 392. I hate that they waited this long to announce.
80k for a jeep? 🤣🤣🤣
@@jtalonrider4769 I remember when they were like $20,000 quirky trucks that only rare people bought, and only 2drs like god intended.
Damn jeeps are barely worth 35k much less than 110k.
It's nice, but I'd rather buy a house instead
Where do you find a house that cost 100K? Plus these people are rich and wealthy, that's why they buy these vehicles. They already have a house/houses. This is a real man grown up toy that shows a very succesful person that can afford it and enjoy life to the max. Who knows, they probably have a Porche too or a Lambo.
Rich people with tons of money that really love to drive Wranglers don't care about what people think. That's why there's some 392 owners out there enjoying their lives and not worry about anything. If people can't afford it or don't want to spend this much for a vehicle that can go really fast, strong and go to Moab ..... then well too bad lol.
Your arrogance that's a bad investment people that buy these just show that they are fools let me know what happens with your money when you're that real estate is smarter a fool and his money soon Departed
@@mickeybarton9077 your ignorance is so exposed that your judgement is beyond human comprehension. Owning a Jeep Wranglers are just fun for the rich and not an investment. It's just another toy. These guys are well educated and have massive amount of assets and financial comfort, something you obviously do not have. For you to judge something on anyone's investment and real state value of life is pure failure. You are what is wrong with society and should never handle anything in life or you will be in such failure and will never finish anything in life.
Will they offer the extreme recon on 2 doors?
oooooohhhhh, red seat belts....that'll be $2000 dollars please.
Extra $700 in black😂😂😂
A cheap Jeep compared to prices here in Austria.
You can buy one of these for 199.890 EUR here (~214k USD).
But a normale Jeep Wrangler Sport is around ~ 80k USD here..
Average gross income here is 31.400 EUR per year. Wranglers are rich peoples cars here :D
Yess. The Wrangler 392 Wrangler 4XE have the same 470lb ft of torque. 🤗
As a current Jeep Gladiator Mojave package, paid about $68k, I use it for my daily runs & when I travel to & from Orlando to Palm Beach, on I-95, it has a mind of its own, @ 70 mph which is the posted speed + your grey area speed, 77 mph. when I arrive to & from, @ the age of 64 I'm worn out. But with that said, luv the vehicle, had 2 other Jeeps, so not a virgin, 75 CJ5 Renegade, 2022 Jeep 392, & when in the Military, M151 ole Viet Nam style Jeep. So, with all the history being said, & to my point. I already sold my Jeep 392, had my few months of fun, top end governed speed 100 mph. very quick, played with the bafflers, had my fun. But I needed to get my head examined on what I paid for the Jeep 392; Jeep needs to land their rocket ship on pricing, not in no way shape or form worth the $100k + there asking, I am fortunate to be able to afford these toys, but my advice to potential buyers, unless you plan on having a pavement princess, i.e. not taking your Jeep off roading, just save yourself the BLING, buy a stock Ruby, or Glady, & enjoy, cause it's just not worth it!! & as far as Brandon's (E Class), just plain (NO). FYI my 1st Jeep CJ5, I paid $4,750.00 for when American Motors, owned the brand name, purchased out of NJ, South River AMC Jeep, 1975. I spent almost 3 hours sitting in the driver's seat, trying to figure out how I'm going to afford, this Jeep!!! LOL.
I love my TJ, but could not justify 111K for a Wrangler that is less capable than my Jeep.
Can build your own AEV Jeep with the mods that matter- wheels and lift- for a lot less. The AEV build is cool but you pay a lot for extra stuff that doesn’t matter, like badging. And there are just as good and cheaper bumpers and winches on the market- the Rugged Ridge ones for ex.
The comments be like "Oh my gosh the top trim limited edition is expensive??? 😱"
Nah bro, at the end of the day it's just a jeep. They have lost sight of who their customers are!
Lol I know. Right?
@@Gonzo1968 Then why will these sell out 🤣 they still have the 32k 2 door manual with crank windows, so there's no reason to not put out these all-out expensive models in addition
@@bates6713 There is a sucker born everyday that's why..😏
TJ was great. 4.0 I6 awesome. The new one just a big school bus. Jeep can keep it. A Jeep will always be a 2 door. Manual, 6 cyl. The rest are for the mall.
I am at the point where these super expensive and unattainable models are not interesting.
What are those extended flaps on the fenders called - can they be bought and put on a Gladiator.
Cost aside, it's a crying shame we don't see any of these models in Australia or RHD, so much for a global platform. I'll have to stick with my 10th Anniversary Rubicon.
where is led lights additional for off-road??
For 100k, I better get 2 wranglers, fully loaded rubicons
4xe is best JLU, no question but damn are they all pricey
The demographic that can afford these will never off road them.
So are you saying that only Brokies off-road their Jeeps? 🤣
These expensive jeeps are status symbols. Im ok w that. Mall crawlers. Looks good in the parking lot. No dirt. To pay $100k and then trail it would be insane.
Yeah but how many bags of groceries can it carry
Now I wonder what I can get if I trade in my 10th anniversary wrangler Rubicon
Don't trade in that real jeep !!! It's a non fiat jeep !
Omg it is beautiful!!!!!!
These prices are beyond stupid ! How much is a 2025 jeep going to be $140k? What a joke ….
repo-man is licking his chops.
How about next year they bring back the LJ for a 20th anniversary! A 103” wheelbase 2 door!
The JO 2 door is already like 98 inches. An LJ JL would be the 4 door just with two doors and a bed on the back like a og gladiator
HAD to watch this after seeing Wrangler and $100k conflated in the title 😂 … when the initial thumbnail didn’t look like the 392 (that honestly shouldn’t be placed at that price point either)
The price of the 392 is stupid. You should be able to option a v8 in a lower trim model.
For $111,000 I’d rather just build my own Rubicon. 😂
Thats what everyone use to do, I think they are going to go back to it. This will help fuel after market parts. Usually aftermarket parts are higher quality anyways.
And keep your change 🤙🏻😎
any chance of a limited edition hellcat powered wrangler
Still hoping on a 4xe Gladiator, but it seems like the Gladiator is being forgotten by Mr Jim Morrison
How about the new Chinese Tank 300?
Go Jeep go!!!
Lol! That thing is worth 45k
I would expect trussed one tons and 37s from the factory at least. Maybe steerable rear axle but $111k is stupid.
Of course.
These extreme offroading jeep wranglers are great but Jeep should also make a better handling, on road focus daily driver, long distance travel, reliable version of the wrangler. It will be a good business move to have a specific version of wrangler that is not mainly focused on extreme offroad.
Rich Folks toy money vehicle! Love my 2015 Sahara 2 door!
Brand loyalty ends when the Brand keeps bending you over a pickle barrel. Then you look for another brand. Just my 2 cents
$100+K and a wire coat hanger antenna 😉😄 love ya Jeep
😂😂
Would be cool if they built in some type of sat comms
You know what would be great, if they had a 20th anniversary for the regular Rubicon and they said "You know what, because customers were bummed about us dropping the Diesel. You can choose the Diesel engine on this." And I would order mine right away as soon as it was available. But I don't think they'll have a 20th anniversary for non-392 non-4xe Rubicons which is going to be a no go for me. I don't want the 392 gas hog. I don't want to pay $110k for my next Jeep. And I don't want to lose the ability to put the Goose Gear seat delete or the folded-seat flat storage space of the Wrangler if I get a Wrangler. If the battery of the 4xe didn't mean you can't fold the seats down flat I would probably get that one. I have driven one and it drives great.
So expensive and Fiat Chrysler didn't even put side air bags in the rear x]]
lol and i thought the 55k Ford Bronco with sasquatch package was expensive :D
4:30 Jim shown here with a haircut 😮 4:41
show of hands who here would buy a sub $30k offroad suv any manufacturer that would build this would sell the hell out of them this is stupid $100k+ for a wrangler is ridiculous
