Great and honestly review of the ZVE1 👍🏻 I have the FX6 now for about 2 years and I am looking for a small b-cam and for a small holiday cam 😉 best cinematic greetings from germany
Greetings from Chile. Can you see more dynamic range on Zv e1?, more sharpness?. Fx6 recover more datils in the shadows, image is more organic, natural and 3d, or only is my perception?.
Hi! My experience was that I had more dynamic range with my FX6 and FX3. As the ZV-E1 is supposed to have the same sensor, I am not sure if this was just my experience or not. But it would make sense if the FX3 and F6 are superior in that sense!
For who has a a6500, and want a FF, u think that worth the change? A6500 already overheats on direct sun light, so im used to manage heat. And I can go for long formats with 1080p30 or 4k30. What u can say to me?
Oh yeah definitely! No doubt that this is An amazing camera and you can get a mini FX3 for less money. You might not even experience overheating, but just don’t rely on that part! Sony told me interviews would not be ideal with this one, but I managed just fine!
It has just one SD card, instead of the twin CFexpress cards from the FX3 and A7S III. This limits it to less data-intensive codecs. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but mbps at 100/120 fps is the difference. You’ll just get better quality at that frame rate with the FX3. That being said, you wouldn’t be able to get that with the FX3 either, if it wasn’t for the CF Express A. ZV E1 is an amazing camera if you’re not trying to replace the FX3, or think that you can get the same things as the FX3 has. It’s important to remember that even tho the ZV E1 has the same sensor, it’s not a cinema camera. Nor has Sony ever claimed that!
@@RandumbTech yeah me too. So it's not a huge dealbreaker. I think this camera can be a great addition to the FX3, but I would never buy this instead of the FX3. Not because of the price, but because the ZV E1 can't do the professional work my FX3 can. E.g. interviews and long shoots.

Thanks! I think this camera works great for that purpose!

Plus as the cooler months come in the over-heating will be less of an issue
Which format does the ZV-E1 not record in that the FX3 does?

@@kriswarwick Ah, that makes sense. I have the FX3 and use CF Express A, but rarely shoot 120p.
