I like to compare it to everything else in life. We usually pay more for a better product, and something that is more premium. I like that Musicbed has taken on the role as the premium music provider, and with that have services and products their competitors can't compete with. I think all of us wish that an iPhone was cheaper, but we still buy it or dream about buyin it. Just like I dreamed about having Musicbed as my main provider, because they were simply better. Hi there, Thanks for watching, and thanks for commenting. I guess for a lot of businesses, this doesn't work very well. If I provide my client with a video this year, and they want to post it again next year, but I have cancelled my plan, we will find ourselves in a pretty tricky situation. Not sure how you would solve this, but I def. think videos should have a longer life time than from production to publishing. Otherwise, I as a filmmaker will be forced to have such a subscription forever. That's not a fair way of doing business, in my opinion.

Haha! I can't help you lol. I can say that I will be using this as my main camera when shooting a marathon next weekend. But then again, I am not really recording audio, and I need to be able to move fast and easy!

You are very right, my friend. It's far from perfect. I wish you could make changes/preferences accordingly. I would have thought that was something you could choose. Eg. adding where in the sentence you want the voice to be emphasized.

I think this all depends on what you can afford, your ambitions and what you're doing with it. When I first started I invested in a camera that was around the price of the ZV-E1 and I have no regrets. But then again, I invested in it for me to build a business, and it was not ALL my money. But if you were to invest in a camera in that price range, the ZV-E1 is def. a good one to buy!

I thankfully managed to test my to around 4hrs 4k, 25p (using dummy battery, all port covers open, full sized uhs-ii card, 28-1235mm f4) - but even small things can tip it over the edge, I did a similar test with a 20mm prime & micro SD card uhs-i & adapter and that combo overheated by 1:30hrs, so little things like metal lens body and full sized uhs-ii can stop this from being viable for long form content. Aside from those concerns this is basically a FX3 at half the price and makes that 12mp sensor much more accessible

Thanks for contributing! Like I said in the video, I haven't actually had big issues with overheating myself. But I am also not using this camera for interviews. I still think it's important to mention as this COULD be an issue, and it will be less of an issue with the FX3, and even less with the FX6.

@@laurencefegan1875 there are technical ways of doing this. If you have a song that consists of several verses and choruses, but you'd like it to end after the first chorus, you can try to cut and time the beat so that the last seconds of the song fit to the end of the first chorus. I can make a video on this later!

I see what you mean, but the fact of the matter is that cropping means that you have less to play around with. Without cropping you can zoom in more without the quality being affected. But I agree with you that it doesn’t really matter as the quality is great in either case.

Not sure if I understand what you mean. And yeah, the constant sale might be true, but it also depends on the state because of the sales taxes.

Yes, it is! Straight to the camera. I have an XLR connected to my Sony FX6 :) Works very well!

Hi Ronald! Thanks again for watching! I am happy the video made it easier for you to choose and decide what you want as a part of your kit. I have never really noticed the difference in softness on these two, as I see them as identical cameras. I have noticed that the A7IV is much sharper, and gives me a look that is different than what I want. I like the softer look myself!

I would say the FX3 (which is the a7s3 in a different body). But then again; they serve different purposes. For long running shootings and situations where you need a bigger setup, the ZV-E1 isn’t the best. But for travel 💯

Its all about size/weight, mechanical shutter, and how deep your wallet is.. He's right - you don't want this as your main photo camera.

Thanks for watching! As I haven't used Audiio myself, I can't comment on their services. I think you have to look at what terms they have, and if the music satisfies your needs. I would like to emphasize that providers like Musicbed offer monthly payments but a one-year plan.

I spent a whole day yesterday looking for music on Audiio and I was rather disappointed with lack of option, specially when as a beginner, I dont have skills to make any music sounds good with video. I cant hide but accept that I like Artlist way more and what they are offering right now. I know I will never need more than 3 channels per platform but also know that I am clear for any OTT or SVOD platforms and broadcast for less than 100 employees. The only issue is the stiff price.

This is what I find the hardest myself. It was easier when you didn't NEED to clear videos with Artlist. With Musicbed I find it super easy, as I just provide my clients with a code that they can add to the description of the RUclips-video!

Would you rather have an FX6 and ZV-E1 or or FX3 and FX6?

@@astartup​​⁠for my use I would go for the FX6 and FX3, with the ZV-E1 as a third. But it really depends on what you’re intending on producing. For documentaries I love the FX6/FX3 combo as the running time is longer.

@@astartup forme ZVE1 is perfect for holidays and the AI functions for solo filmmaking what the fx3 doesn’t have. FX6 is my bigger cam for short films 🎥 so for me a perfect combo

@@kriswarwick I don't know. You can get a 1TB Lexar Gold 1800x V60 SD card for $350, I saw one on sale for $250 last week. That card will do 4k60 10-bit 422. I think I'm good with one of those, two and it would be really hard to fill up. You can also back up the data to a 1TB V30 micro SD on your Android phone, or hook up a 4TB external SSD to your phone and use Sony Imaging Edge to backup via wifi. I think you can connect to wifi via 2.4GHz and the cameras via 5GHz wifi, but I have not done that yet.

yeah a lot of things to consider and it's a steep learning curve. Let me know if you need any tips on any of it.

It totally depends on what you are filming, but for me I have found that 24-70 has been good. Although it's a bigger and heavier lens, I have really enjoyed using that one when traveling. 16-35 is also good. I do find myself using the fixed 24 a lot, but that obviously gives you less freedom. But you can always move yourself instead of zooming! Not sure if I understand your question about APS-C HD as this is a full format camera. Unless I misunderstood the APS-C part. You can film 120fps 4K with the ZV-E1 :)

ZV-E1 does not have APSC mode only full frame. If you use APSC lens you can punch in with clear image zoom 1.2-1.5x to get rid of vignetting.

I use the ZV-E1 and I would recommend the Sony 24-50mm 2.8 G lens. Just awesome. If you are doing a lot of vlogging, then the Sony 16-25mm 2.8 G lens is another great option. But again, it depends on what you are filming.

For me I think the fact that they reached out, actually listened and changed the way they handled things, was enough for me to give them a second chance. why was it devastating? I have not really had blurry images with the ZV-E1 and I find it to be very good on the auto focus. I definitely think the FX3 is worth it, but again, it depends on the intended use. Thank you for your complements. Yes to all of the above.

I actually don't think they had their pricing on their website when I made this review, and as I don't have any collab with Artlist, I didn't have more information than what I could find. Now I see that they have updated their prices and you can buy a single VoiceOver subscription for $12 a month. You have to pick from their voices, so what I think will be the big difference for me is that I can use these voices as examples for clients, figure out what vibe they want and then I can use a Voice artist for the final version of the film!

Clearing a video means that the video won't get any music right claims. This again means that you can use it, make money on it and use the music for client work :)

That's unfortunate... It seems unreasonable, I agree. I guess it's hard for them to monitor this in a different way. But this is also why I don't trust them as much as before. They were my go-to when I knew I could use their music without clearing it, and I thought the license card was enough proof.

@@kriswarwick they should at least allow you to clear songs after your subscription, that you've downloaded during your subscription, but they said no to that to me.I have to keep my sub until all my clients have posted their videos which will likely take at least a year. Artlist won, they beat me, they wont change their policy for me so I have no choice but to pay for another year in full and also not use their songs for client work otherwise it'll just happen again with the new videos. I just want people to know about the trap they're setting, maybe there's legal options but I have no clue.

I hope it's okay that I reply in English! The ZV-E1 is not as bad as my review. I am making a new review that will be out very soon. I think that for an interview, the ZV-E1 might be too risky, because of overheating. That being said, you get the same sensor, and you'll get a great camera for the price. I would buy the FX3 if I had to choose just one. Thanks for commenting!
